We're so pleased our christmas gift went so well. It always makes our hearts sing to see you spending time with your family - especially your mum. We remember taking you to Bath for the first time to see Boy and Bear perform at The Theckla in Bristol, and the next morning back in Bath you got the text to say you were accepted at Uni. I know those Uni years werent the greatest in the end, looking back, but it felt like a big deal at the time, and we were all - including Nana just proud to butsting. ❤ Putting the less than perfect Uni years behind you, how very fitting that you found out about Jamie Oliver while in Bath with your mum. How truly amazing! Who would have imagined back then.... I think Bath might have some maguc for you! All our love and support always. Ann and Dave. X

Probably the creme brulée was actually "crema catalana", it's made with milk and cinnamon instead of cream and vanilla. As a catalan I encourage you to look for the recipe, it's very easy to do and delicious and one of the most ancient desserts in Europe😊
Ahh it was listed as a crème brûlée on the menu with tonka bean, lemon gel and sesame.
But I do love Crema Catalana and Crème Caramel too! We used to eat it all the times as children when we visited Spain 🧡

100% agree with you about secondhand shops. The point of secondhand stuff is to make less waste, yet the more expensive they’re priced, the less people buy, and then we’re right back where we started.

First and foremost, congratulations for being able to post on Jamie Olivers page, how amazing is that! Secondly, hello to mum! so good to see her again, always fun to watch the interaction with you two, you always have so much fun together. Last but not least. thank you for taking me around one of my fave places ever! I lived for 17 years in Chippenham which is a 15 minute train ride away, it was my go to place for shopping for 17 years and the Bath Christmas market truly amazing. I miss it so much now we have moved away. I knew every street you were in, so pleased to see the Retro shop still open, used to buy loads of Christmas presents in there. The sweet shop too, hardly ever came home without a bag of something from there. The tea and coffee place in the market as well,. As for the charity shops, good to hear there are still loads of them. It was all full of such amazing memories and I felt like I was with you both, it was lovely. Thank you both so much x
