There was this fanfic known as "Darkest Before Dawn". That if timeline with Erwin being alive upon inheriting Zeke's Beast Titan completely changes everything. Unlike in the canon where Hange as the new commander hesitant for an open-wide communication to the outside world which lead Eren doing his stuff. Erwin in the fanfic did the opposite and established an alliance with the Mid-East Alliance which change the tide of the war. The author clearly knows the geopolitical situation. Knowing Erwin, the man knows how to made plans and can make strategic ideas how to deal not only the Marley but the world itself. After all, don't forget, this is the guy that made a coup and taken down the old royal regime. In a sense, with Erwin around, he prevented Eren from going to a path of no return. He made sure to keep an eye to the boy. Remember, the reason why Eren did the Rumbling in the first place is because 1. He is severely emotional stressed, 2. Knowing his deadline, the anxiety get the better of him and 3. He feared that after his death in the end of 13 years tenure, the future of his friends and Paradis might be destroyed by Marley or the whole world without him doing about it since he's dead. In the fanfic, with Erwin ideas and dealings, the war came over and the world no longer see the people of Paradis as devils. Also it's understandable that both Magath and Willy Tybur help the ordeal since they also change their plans since the tide of war has changeswith the Mid-East Alliance made peace with Paradis and them painting a different picture of the people in the island. Remember, in a world coming in the modern century, mere propaganda and news could change the outlook of everything. This was everything that happened in the fanfic. The canon didn't go there and Isayama really just want more smashing and tragedy instead a solution in the end.
The art reminds me of the first opening where all the Scouts jump in the air with their ODM gear. Also, I'd love to see a rendition of Guren no Yumiya in orchestral style! :D
seeing that background really makes me wish for an alternate universe where all those characters survived and we got an episode just seeing all those people interact
Love the focus on the driving percussions and the perfect remake of the original song man, I love it, it gives the song a final stand desperate action feel that fits with the cover art. It carries the sorrow of the original OST but with more determination because of the strong drums. It’s like the line in the song, “With fear and sorrow in our heart, we find the will to press on”

I've got epicness overdose and I like it... I especially enjoy the choir and the part where violin is accompanied by drums starting from 1:42. I've listened to your another cover of this song (the newer one, with Reiner art) and I still can't decide which of the two energizes me more... Both of them perfectly capture the mood of the whole anime and that's great!
