Kenyan Government Sends Police To Haiti For Security Maintenance

Amid the crisis in Kenya, the government has sent Hundreds of Kenyan police officers to Haiti to lead a multi-national force aimed at combating powerful gangs, responsible for a surge in deadly violence this year.
This is despite a court ruling deeming the deployment unconstitutional.
Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden praised Kenya's leadership in the multinational force during Ruto's recent state visit to Washington.
The United States pledged $300 million to support the force.
