As an added convincer, You could use a duplicate joker instead of the random card (6 spades) that way you don’t have to be careful not to flash, you can quite openly split the cards apart to pull the king up and ittl still look like the joker is behind the king. 😊
nice little packet trick easy to perform and yet baffling to the spectator nice one, if you used totb gimmick then as a finale you might vanish all three cards stating that they would now not only penetrate your finger but penetrate the card box having three duplicates within, then all 3 cards could be handed out for examination just thinking outside the box cheers

So in other words you can't hand out both jokers, but this is one where spectators wouldn't expect something odd with those.
