I make a similar crockpot potato soup only difference are some of the seasonings and I use the potatoes O’Brien. While I always makes my mom’s sauce I think I just may need to give your uncle’s amazing looking sauce a whirl ! Thanks for the free printables too.
What has always worked for me is to find 10 things every day to throw away or donate. (You can set your own number or parameters) Once I find 10 things, I stop. I’m done for the day and feel accomplished. Once a week I do a Goodwill drop off of whatever I’ve gathered since my last drop off. I’ll go through seasons of doing this if my home begins to feel cluttered. I try to have more items leaving my house than coming in or at least try to keep it even.
Thank you, Mickey for exactly what I needed for this new month ahead. I’m in the beginning in stages of a whole house declutter. My 91 year old mother who had lived with us for 22 years is now in hospice so it’s been a rough time and will be going through her room to slowly go through things. The printables will be so helpful! Love potato soup! I do the exact same thing with buttermilk in cornbread. It prevents the crumbles from happening and makes such a difference! The sauce looks wonderful… haha, I do the same thing with garlic and guess I’m a rebel too. 😅 Enjoy your week and February. I continue to enjoy your videos so much ❤
Hi Randi! I’m sorry to hear your mom has entered hospice, I know how difficult that can be. It seems so many of us are doing a house declutter this year, I think we can all motivate each other!
Thank you for the declutter lists. I have been working on decluttering but I see things on your list that I wouldn't have thought of. The more we reduce the extra stuff in our house the lighter we feel!
Hi Mickey! Your potato soup and Uncles sauce looks so delicious!! I'm looking forward to your decluttering series...thanks so much for the free printables! 💜 Your home always looks so neat and organized it's hard to believe that you need to declutter anything! 😊 Love your sweater!! 💙❤💜 Have a wonderful weekend!! Thanks for sharing more recipes! I am excited for the decluttering. Right now I am in the middle of a mess as I clear more items from my planning room!!
Looking forward to this series, Mickey. As a retired preschool teacher, I need help decluttering and getting rid of all the stuff I used for years for my classes. I have a lot of stuff and I've been out of the business since 2019, so I really need it to go! Hopefully I will find some useful ideas from the videos you are going to make for us. I want to make the whole process easier and faster for myself, but I had so much invested in my preschool career that it's emotionally hard to get rid of it.
I too put a lot of sentimental value on things. I was a preschool teacher for years and went through my boxes of supplies last year. I saved somethings but donated most of it to surrounding programs. I mostly saved books, puppets and story telling props I also saved some art supplies. let most everything else go. I have lots of photos tfat will eventually make it into albums. It was good to go through everything and send some of it where more children will benefit from it.
Soup looked great. Do you just cook for you and your husband? Your recipes make a lot. I’m only cooking for 3 people. Love all of your recipes and look forward to them.
I have never adjusted my cooking since the kids have moved out so I always have an abundance of food! Nobody leaves my house without a meal or two in hand!
You are so clever and organized. Thank you for the lists and ideas. Take care 😊
You are so welcome!

There are so many versions of tomato sauce, they are all good!

One in one out is a good plan! Definitely easier to stay on top of things than to let them pile up!

@@MyBashfulLife So do you freeze what’s left of the meals each night ? I end up throwing so much away. We never seem to eat leftovers.
Where did you purchase. The lids for the Mason jars
I was able to find them years ago on Amazon and Walmart. I haven’t seen them lately anywhere.
Hi! Luv and your videos.Where did you get your sweater? so cute
I found it at Talbots, I tried to find a link but it must be sold out!
The link to to closet declutter was a kitchen declutter list
Whoops! Thank you for letting me know! It's been fixed! This is the clothing printable link: bit.ly/3SlQxDy
@@MyBashfulLife lol your welcome, I do stuff like that all the time
Oh yuk, I have never heard of a potato soup where you mash the potatoes.
Personal preference, you can make it however you want to make it.
