Hello guys! I don't wanna see you guys experiencing that water horror again. Hope It will not happen in your new home. Anyway, I love your plants guys! Its refreshing to see new plants with a breathtaking view! So cool! Love you all guys! 😎🥰💖
Thank you! Yes, hope it gets fixed soon and no more issues. Happy our own garden has grown big enough to hide where they are going to dig up the green roof to fix that leak!
Sorry dudes but every time I see your fur babies I get all warm and gooey inside. They are so adorable. I just want to give them a big hug. You daddies are the best...😊
Hope your maintenance people have resolved you leaks and your rooftop garden looks fabulous, the vines were probably choking out your plants. Peace to you all ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Jess...so very sorry that you have leaking water in your new home. I hope that it can be repaired quickly. Your rooftop garden is beautiful. Lots of work, I'm sure, but rewarding results. Enjoy autumn in San Diego. Sending love from Canada 🇨🇦
Oh no! Not a leaky ceiling again! Hope they solve the problem as quickly as possible and correctly the first time. Top deck looks fun and right thing to do for those plants as you did. Hello to you all.
Thank you - we hope so too! They finally showed up today to start working on it. I’ll post updates as they do so… experience tells me these things will drag out much longer than they should 🙈
Love the vines hanging over the stairs..and the garden is growing so good! I didnt know sweet potatoes have such long vines.. only ever eaten the sweet potatoes..never grown them😂 Can't wait to see what other surprise Zac got for the garden. The rooftop garden will be so cozy in winters...warm fires, some twinkling lights, loads of food and friends over..best evenings ever! I hope the water curse breaks.. and the rooftop/ceiling gets repaired quickly! Did Tux boy get a trim? I wondered why he looked so skinny right now while he was floofy a few days ago..😅
Wonderful to see you up on your roof. I'm sorry about the leak. I hope it'd fixed soon. A friend who lies in La Mesa, he just repaired a hole in his room.
Hi guys, great job with your roof top garden its so beautiful! and way cool the Ladybugs and hummingbirds love to live and visit your garden as well, just think that is so cool 🤙🐞🕊 I sure hope that your apartment management will fix your roof and ceiling in a reasonable amount of time and not drag their knuckles doing it, you guys have been thru enough hardships with home issues and certainly don't need anymore. Just stay on top of it all and definitely be sure that they repair the entire damage correctly, I know you guys will... Can't wait to see what other surprise Zac has for ya! He's an awesome guy and whatever it is, Zac will come thru with smiles and enjoyments. And yes...daylight savings does suck 👎 especially when it becomes darker earlier, i dread it everytime 🙄 In the meantime, you guys stay happy and well, big hugs and kisses to Saffie girl, Tux, Irina, Voodoo and of course, to all 3 of you. XOXO, Russ
Your roof top looks wonderful! When you mentioned the building settling and the concrete roof cracking, I wondered if any other units were affected. If they have not fixed that yet, I would call the city asap for an emergency inspection. That concrete could totally fail and god forbid that happens. I don’t mean to scare you, but this building sounds WAY too casual about this ❤❤❤
If you want more Sweet Potato vines just take a cutting 5 or 6 inches long and place it in a vase of water and usually they start growing roots within a weeks or so…they grow very easily in warm climates. Hope your water leak is fixed…we’ve just gone through similar thing….we now have part of our concrete driveway cut up to fix a water leak, then another leak happened under the path down the side of our house….I feel your pain.
It all looks so nice. Just a suggestion; perhaps you could secure a free standing kind of room divider behind your planter that blocks the view from the common area. It would give you a little more height as a block. Hugs to all of you.❤
Hope they get it repaired soon, plus your ceiling as well, hope this does not mean you have to move out while they do it, the rooftop plants are awesome,, it does help with the privacy issue, we have just started our daylight saving here as summer is approaching
So far it doesn’t seem we need to move - and fortunately it is in a spot in the house with no furniture to damage. 🤞 good vibes and thoughts that it will be a quick fix this time.
I hope they get the green roof repaired soon so the leaks stop and then they repair your ceiling. You guys have been through enough regarding leaks and water damage. Your roof top plants and garden area looks great. You have beautiful views from your roof top. 😊👍🏻👍🏻
Hope it’s a quick fix! They just showed up today - the community Gardner is digging up the rooftop and hopefully the find and repair it fast… then they will fix our apartment ceiling.
Hello guys! Wow! I can't believe you guys are going through something like this again. I remember the flooding in your last apartment like it was yesterday and all you went through. I hope this issue is not as big as the last time, but you won't know until they make an assessment, which seems they haven't done yet or at least you haven't mentioned that they had. Oh, well! I hope you guys get that leak and crack fixed soon. About the garden, I come a long way and it looks great. I hope the new additions and moves work out to make it even better. Thank you for always sharing and again I hope the damage to the roof isn't a bad big thing. Love you guys!!💖💖💖
Right?! It sure feels like yesterday! - at least it’s just a leak and not a flood 🤞 they started working on it today right after I posted the update. Hope it isn’t too extensive!
So sorry y'all are having to go through this yet again! The rooftop garden looks ah-mazing! You guys totally defy the gay muscle guy stereotype. You all seem so caring, sweet, and genuine. Loving your channel.
Thank you! Just glad this leak is minor compared to our past water troubles 🌊🙈 we know it can be far worse than this! I’m so glad - we hope to share a broad enough view of us to show so much more than just gym muscles 🤗 so happy to hear, thank you for the compliment - it’s so appreciated.
Those plants are Potatoe Ivy, at this time of the year in the north squirrels will eat the potatoes and the rest of plant would be discarded, they are annuals. The roof garden looks beautiful, Iwould be all over that Management Team about the water being turned on. Well you guys have a great week and Happy Halloween Clocks go back November 3 ❤💚💙🐱🐕🍍
Thank you so much for this info! I thought they might be… but there are several vines that look similar and I wasn’t 100% sure! Fortunately we don’t have any critters to eat them 32 stories in the sky!… hope they will be ok after the transplant and in the cooler night weather! Happy Halloween!
Sorry your roof is leaking hope it gets fixed soon, we put are clocks back in the UK on the 27th Oct , Your Canna lilies look great. I have to put mine in the greenhouse over winter and hope they survive . Your vines are sweet potatoes ,I can"t get them to grow so gave up trying . Have a great week and Happy Halloween.
I didn’t realize they changed earlier than us in the UK! Yes, I’m nervous the Lillie’s won’t last well now that nights are getting colder 🤞 my hope is they are ok in the mild winter climate! I love them and will be so sad if they do t do well 😢
@@JessAlexZac In your climate they should survive , You could cover with garden fleece . but in the UK if it drops below freezing the chances are they may will die , I wrap mine in fleece and hope for a mild winter .
When i seen this i was like.....HOW you only moved omg not again yes i remember your lsst flood Omg the plaster 😮 is come off what the heck...... In Ireland our clocks went back the 27th it's now dark at 5pm 😢 Steph 🇮🇪 Ireland
@JessAlexZac completely agree 💯 I went walking with my dogs completely forgot about getting dark at 5 pm ..... terrible wish they'd leave the clocks along to say light savings Still have your content to look forward too 😉 Steph
This is possibly a fire and life safety issue. If the water corrodes the concrete rebar in the slab, structural failure is a possibility. If the building management isn't taking it seriously this needs to be elevated to the city's Code Enforcement.
They were here today with a contractor, so far trying to re-seal a sprinkler line to see if that works first then dig up the entire rooftop if it still is an issue 😱
They are sweet potato or as we call them in New Zealand KUMERA ( COO MOO RAA ) roast them with the skin on or just peel and boil them, again, as we say, Ka pai! 😂

I really think you guys should reconsider buying your own house ! Not only is this the 3rd Apt building to have a leak, but you keep dealing with management companies that drag their feet about fixing things ! You deserve much better, for what you are paying for !
That’s the dream!… but affording a house that would be good for all of us is crazy expensive here in San Diego… and would require us to start having to drive everywhere (we all only need one vehicle currently). Not ready for a house at this phase of life, but sure think it is in our future! (…haha and the flood curse better not follow us 🌊😱)
Hello guys! I don't wanna see you guys experiencing that water horror again. Hope It will not happen in your new home.
Anyway, I love your plants guys! Its refreshing to see new plants with a breathtaking view! So cool! Love you all guys! 😎🥰💖

Hope your maintenance people have resolved you leaks and your rooftop garden looks fabulous, the vines were probably choking out your plants. Peace to you all ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
When it rains, it pours for y'all....no pun intended😅. Your flowers are beautiful.
Haha - thankfully it hasn’t been raining or pouring while we have cranks and leaks 😂😅
I just love your enthusiasm for life and hope someday to meet you, you are such an inspiration!

I hope they all survive ok this winter, winters are mild but not sure if the cold nights will be ok 🙈🌱
@@JessAlexZac if you put bubble wrap around the planters gives some insulation for during the winter
