I think part of it is that JunHyuk (JunHyeok), who is the main vocalist, has been on hiatus and came back to film the mv and record the album but then went back into hiatus. TNX has 2 dancers, 2 rappers, and 2 vocalist (although they all can do everything). So, 1 dancer, 1 vocalist, & 1 rapper are covering his parts as well as having to dance the modified choreography due to his absence. They did a studio choom performance with all six that seems a lot more carefree & fun but also their relay dance is pretty funny too if you want to check it out.
Totally agree with you, they need to do extra work and modify the choreo so it would be hard to enjoy themselves while doing the performance perfectly.
Junhyeok is the member that is missing. Hes been on a hiatus for a decent amount of time due to mental health and anxiety issues. I hope he takes all the time he needs before he comes back. Junhyeok is the groups main vocalist and his vocals are so insanley impressive. I think the other members did a great job covering for his part and making it look whole even with out him
JunHyeok has powerful vocals and a very wide vocal range, beautiful soulful voice. but they don't use his full potential in most songs, i guess for stylistic reasons it hasn't been a bag they have gotten into yet. The guy dancing in the middle that you liked in kick it for now is SungJun
Agreed! I wish they really pushed him and his potential just like how they pushed him in Loud!
@@r_i_ma FYI, Junhyeok has been on a health hiatus due to mental and physical exhaustion. Pushing him more wouldn’t be good for his well being.
@@letsgoooo679 Oh yea sorry, what I meant was his vocal abilities but that is true, pushing him could be really really taxing to his overall health, maybe once he's feeling better they could really show his true potential ! I'd hate to see his talent go to waste :
Actually we will get to see him show off his talent on June 17 this Saturday in a show called Immortal Song 2, if anyone is interested.

What you said about them not being able to really vibe with their song like SHINee and NCT is certainly room for improvement for TNX but comparing a rookie group’s awards show performance to a senior group performance especially one from a concert doesn’t make sense lol and this is coming from a shawol and NCTzen
It was an extreme comparison but it was a quick example on the spot, authentic reactions work that way. Some rookie groups doing other concepts give their seniors a run for their money so it’s not completely unfair either.
@@Koko3op I agree! Honestly, comparisons can actually be quite helpful, as long as they're not intended to be mean-spirited. In this case, when you compared TNX's overall performance and charisma to the older and senior groups, it's clear that you just want TNX to grow! And you know what? instead of them feeling discouraged, TNX can embrace these comparisons as a positive motivation to enhance their performance and charisma. It's all about using such insights to reach new heights!

I really appreciate your reaction to TNX! I think the intention of the comments are to improve and see them impress the public even more with their music in the future... I also consider it important to give my point of view about TNX since I consider it a promising group for KPOP in a future, despite being a new group of the fourth generation, in addition to being the first group of the PNATION company and having debuted for a year, I think they have shown and continue to show us each of their songs in different musical concepts and that It is reflected in his albums. Each one of the members I consider that stands out for special qualities and that makes them tune in within the group, perhaps many people have a specific image of KPOP groups and that makes comparisons between the groups for vocal performance , dancing, etc, but I think it is important to be able to see the situation in which each group is (since they are all different situations that are reflected in the performance of the group) I do not doubt that in the future TNX can fill the expectations of viewers who see them for the first time and to be recognized by them as a talented group in every way. But I am aware that a group recognized by others does not become famous overnight, that is where TNX and THX (a group of fans) must together climb this great opportunity to demonstrate their music to the whole world.
No one is telling you about Hwi!! He composes and produces many of their songs, they're definitely passionate for their music, maybe it's just cause they're rookies...

They released versions of Love or Die by a few different artists, and I highly recommend the version by SOLE for pretty vocals with some r&b vibes. I enjoyed your reaction and thoughts on the songs!
I feel like 4th gen has really pushed the idea that they have to have intense choreos all the time. If we compare the choreos from 1st-3rd gen to 4th gen, the choreos are much more intense and difficult.

Junhyeok, who has been absent from promotions, is their main vocalist and has a beautiful vocal tone and can hit notes super cleanly. I'd argue he is one of the standout vocalists out of any 4th gen boy group if it's ranked unbiasedly. His tone is like if Baekhyun and D.O had a baby who was emo and just slightly breathier, it's just super sentimental and oddly sad despite the fact he was born in 2004. Very excited to see how his career progresses and how much he improves. Fully agree on the fact TNX can enjoy the stage more but I think that'll happen over time, afterall they are barely a year old and are improving every day. I'd argue what is going to set them apart in their future and where their strength lies is in the member Eunhwi, who composes 95% of all their music alongside write lyrics and is the main rapper. That boy has potential, like a crazy amount and could honestly be the next Zico if he plays his cards right. Both Psy and JYP were BEGGING him to join their companies in the survival show LOUD where he was discovered. Full recommend you check out or react this: ua-cam.com/video/ubg13nQROP4/v-deo.html . It's a 30 minute video of them performing individually in front of Psy and their company execs, and they get both criticized and complimented. They are well aware of their shortcomings as individual artists and it's honestly cool to see an honest CEO's reaction and analysis of performances that isn't exaggerated and the vid really does showcase each member the best. They do have an it factor, but PNATION and TNX themselves need to showcase it just a little more. Truly, check out the vid, you won't regret it.

people who are vocally trained analysed junhyeok's live singing and so far he's the 4th best 4th gen male vocalist just behing minhyuk of dkz, jongjo of ateez and woobin of chavity. He's quite a good vocalist but he's amazing vocals sadly doesn't get showcase that much in their groups songs.
I get what you mean about the choreo thing but i think describing love or die as a fun song is so wrong imo.
the lyrics are little a deep and kinda sad in the sense that it's a relatable situation for lots of people lmaoooooo plus the whole emo/punk rockpop vibe going on doesn't scream fun to me either but maybe that's just me (tho I can understand if you mean the song sounds fun melody wise) I've always percieved love or die as a pretty serious song kinda like teenage boys in their angsty teen era lmaoo and maybe cause the vibe of music video is angsty not to mention the colour pallette mostly consisting of dark colours.
I feel like them seeming like they don’t enjoy the song comes from them having to cover one of their members parts right now . But in terms of the comparison with Taeyong enjoying NCT performances I think you have to take into consideration how much of a hand he has in a lot of NCT songs and choreos so technically he’s performing his own music in some type of way, whereas TNX is performing a song and choreo that 10 ppl probably made for them.

I grew up on 90's r&b and new jack so this was right up my alley. I do think there is some disconnect between their energy and the concept, hopefully it'll improve with more stages.
Verivery had a few new jack songs when they first debuted and I absolutely loved them. If you have a chance I'd recommend checking them out.
Aside from enhypen 4th gen boy groups don’t really interest me but I think I might have to look more into TNX

You are my soul mate I SWEAR to it. I say this about kpop doing new Jack swing ALL THE TIME. And I'm old af, I rem the era, I danced to those songs in real time (as a child, calm down). Your body has to be really feeling the vibes or you look like you're faking it fully. The comparison of Taeyong/NCT and SHINee was perfect, they def give it that oomph it needs to sell it.

i hear you, i also felt like although kick it for now is good and it def grew on me, something about it felt empty to me at first, like what is the TNX influence on this type of retro sound, i also felt like only junhyeok and sungjun were the only ones who really enjoyed and fit the concept, the other members looked a lil awkward in the mv
