Ahoy my friends! Today I will be taking on the Gallonbaloir Acana! Having two MDEF ALL weapons equipped is going to be your best friend in this fight, along with having at least 1 person with triangl sigil boost in the formation (maybe not required, but its a big help) so I put Zidane's sword on Cloud (could be less OB) just for the triangle boost on it. Other then that, pretty straight forward. Matt's Syringe Rapier works wonders as Acana switches back and forth periodically from PATK to MATK attacks. It's a long fight as the boss is quite tanky, but once you find the flow, it shouldn't be impossible. Cheers and best of luck everyone! PS: I have now added NEW MEMBERSHIPS to the Channel! Hey man, keep up the great work even without commentary these videos are helpful - particularly with your comments too Does this fight have a dps check? I haven't invested in Barret at all so I'll be doing this fight without the fire imperil so I suspect it'll take much longer than your run here
You might be able to pick up a Sharkslayer from the free weapon tickets from the tower? I think even a single copy of sharkslayer is going to make this fight incrementally easier. As far as i know the fight doesn't have a dps check, but you can see that even with imperil this fight still took me forever so who knows if you dont have it haha. You could always run Red/Ivy with his MATK break weapon and then put debraves on the chars for breaking physical attack and save Cloud's UW for that one big hitting physical attack later on . . .
I feel like everyone has gotten a huge power jump since anniversary, especially with the guild weapons now being more and more accessible, its having a huge impact on the game itself
@@BodhiJMSRyder OB7 def all weapons and Brands have really changed team building, in my experience. I'm easily getting to 200 PDEF/MDEF while still having a fully built DPS that can push 6 figure damage numbers as F2P. I have to say, I like it!
This one wasn’t super bad! I think it took two tries , I had similar team but aerith did the trick. She’s permanent team member for me now with mdef and pdef buffs - if pdef mid isnt enough i just stack some hp or something 😂 aerith = best girl. don’t tell tifa 🤫
I’m so sad I know I got the set ups to beat b25 to b28 but the b24 the hell house and it beeping bombs I just do not have the set up to deal with both aoe fire and ice to deal with the beeping bombs
@@BodhiJMSRyder you did help me all your videos help me take on many fights I just know what I can and can not do I just do not have the right weapons or they under OB6 I try over 26 set ups at less your videos give me some joy thank you for all than you do
@@BodhiJMSRyder it a mix of things my ice is good I got seph edge wings at OB10 but his prototype is only OB3 aerth is only got baha rod at OB1 and her aoe fire rod is only OB3 all the weapons I got than give mark to all are OB0 to OB1 Lucia got high debuff ice and her rose musket is OB 7 I’m just under power to deal out the damage I can run Matt with a OB10 centipede for pdef and heals but I lose any hope to take out the bombs and it does not help the boss call 3 set of bombs each Bomb phase

This fight was surprisingly easy! I was expecting the hardest of the bunch but I cleared it with ease. You just never know what you'll get with these.
