To this day, this is my favourite ever essential mix. When it comes to taking the listener on a journey, no other essential mix even compares to this!
What I love most about it is that it gets you thinking about life. The quotes they pull from movies are really something.
James Zabiela mixes are great journeys, and pre date the A+B ones. Different style of music but masterfully mixed with film quotes and cross boundary music. Get on the 2004 and 2010 Essential mixes if you like this sort of thing

8 years later this Essential Mix remains relevant as it was then in '11. In 8 more years it will still be relevant. That's when you know something like this is a classic- it withstands the test of time.
