  • August 14, 2024 I went to re climb one of the greatest solo adventures I've ever done, The Selkirk High Traverse. I brought a drone that my dad lended me to try and share the adventure and the beauty. Some of the drone flying might make you nauseas so hold on for the ride.
Great day in the home mountains.

The first summit you get to, I believe is the lower twin when looking at the twin peaks from beehive lakes. Have you ever climbed the upper twin over there? If so do you have any footage? Was able to pull off a trip of the 5 right before the season ended, I camped and started from beehive lake, but I was honestly a bit scared to commit to going for the upper twin since I've never found much info on how to get up it or the grade of it.

I have heard the Twin Peaks named North and South Twin and this route goes over North Twin Peak, I am pretty sure. (Lookers right from beehive lake) I have not climbed South Twin Peak but there is this post from Mountain Project on South Twin Peak (Link at bottom). In this video or my video from two years ago doing this same climb, there is pretty good camera angles of South Twin that you could use for some beta! www.mountainproject.com/route/126597975/the-dodgy-selkirk-boys
