My human anatomy teacher has been making my class watch your videos lol
SLIME E lucky
That's the best teacher because they know great, informational and educational content.
Lol I showed my anp class this last semester too
SLIME E lucky son
Nice lie
KD has proven to come back almost seamlessly from injuries, so there's always optimism. That said, an Achilles rupture is no joke. Even though his progress has been encouraging, I don't think he should return this season, especially not in the post season with all the rigors that come with it.
I'm a huge KD fan and it's going to be disappointing not watching him play, but I really don't want to see him on the court this season. No need risking it.
there’s no risk if he’s 100%
@@Dragon-tc6ud He may be 100%, but I don't think throwing himself straight into the intensity of the playoffs would be the best idea. He should take this season to rehab and rest, and wait for 2020/21. Brooklyn aren't winning the championship next season even if he comes back, so really no need.
i see you like snakes
Ryan Leary r u dumb?
Keenan Powell LMAO you’re wildin
Can you talk about how quick Saquan recoverd?
yes please do that
Gabriel Chavez don't you mean sawcon?
Gabriel Chavez yes sure no problem steroids
im early. I think durant sohuld sit out the season because his was also a re-injury in the same chain which I believe would make the recovery process even more tedious
He said he's not coming back this season
KDs knows what hes doing when it comes to injuries he'll do fine
That's lowkey actually true. I never really paid any attention to that.
like when he came back from injury and immediately ruptured his achilles?
@@cerberus2373 I think he meant in terms of recovery and speed of recovery. At least that's how I took it. KD does recover fast, and has always returned to the same level of play. But cmon, being that lanky and competing on that level, you are bound to suffer injuries frequently.
Facts, but he’s lowkey been injury prone since 2015 tbh. He’s had a bad injury every year excluding 2016
JahkR Music 👌 that’s what I meant kd knows what itZ like to come back from a injury and obviously this injury and aftermath taught him a lesson. KD knows his body the best at the end of the day.
HEY BRIAN
So I've recently gone through an ACL surgery and as I was researching some things on the matter and I found smth called AMI (Arthrogenic Muscle Inhibition), which doesn't seem to be really understood.
I think it'd be awesome if you could do a video about it. All the love man!
It's amazing how better you got making videos great job as usual doc keep the great work and thank you for all the knowledge you deliver 🙏🏽
Can you do a update on Oladipo and nurkic.
Bailey F yes please !!!!!!!!!
He got hurt in June... I wouldn’t rush it
That’s a fact, but I think he should come back the 2020 olympics that’s 14 months to get back in ELITE shape
He'll be fine, it's not like the Nets will need KD to drop 30 every game. They have a nice offense in Brooklyn.
KD can rest the entire 1st round and come back for the 2nd round.
as a warrior fan all I want to do is see Kd come back and be the same player he was.
Bandwagon warrior fan*
Karter u can’t just assume everyone’s a bandwagon. Plus if he was he would move on to like the lakers or something
Fam, how does someone wishing that KD comes back as the same player on another team = bandwagon fan 😂
@@accountname9872 lmao yep i'm a clipper fan this year now
@@marvfromthecity it's cause he's a warriors fan I was being a troll but you all got a lil butt hurt so I guess I can stop ;(
I love these videos. As a physiotherapist major student, i gain alot. Thank you❤️
Good day doc! Have a great day!
you are so good, love your videos, keep it up!
Excellent analysis doc 👌👌🙏🏻
Thanks!
I wonder why someone would dislike such an informative video
Bevause, they are morons.
Get Well soon my MVP
GODBLESS you
As a nets fan please keep these going
I love these vids
Awesome video Thanks
You are the best docter
I like erring on the side of caution to prevent reinjury or other subsequent injury due to weakness
The Mob thanks you for your update
Thank you :)
They need to sign Melo, and let KD sit out the whole season... Like Kawhi Leonard said, come back when YOU know you’re ready... KD🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💯💯🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Oh yeah definitely subscribing
Hi!
A really awkward injury happened in the 2019 World Athletics Championships, where Magnus Kirt dislocated his shoulder seemingly mid air throwing a javelin. Not your usual stuff but was hoping it might pique your interest.
Can you do Paul Georges shoulder surgeries doc?
I'll be back by November. I already said it
Paul George come back Now Tf
@@jiggafromstatefarm9997 i don't wanna come back now, ima come back probably the 1st week of November
😂 😂 😂 Lol
@Donte Fonville what it doooo baybeeeee
get well KD. 👍💪👊🇺🇸🏀
I wish him well, just hope he doesn't force the process
The nets wont take any kind of risk, they want to be serious contenders next year, this year is just a warm up.
@Brian Sutter MD please do video about Moh Salah's recent ankle injury in the game vs Leicester. There is a good footage of the tackle before he limped off
You should do a video on some of the things that Lebrun does to reduce recovery time and has kept him mostly injury free all these years.
Genetics
A Haas genetics + he got perfect landing technique
I've heard he plays carefully and doesn't do stupid shit to put himself into a position he could be injured
whatever that jet engine noise is in the background, it's fucking beautiful. i have at-times unbearable tinnitus and i can hardly notice it with the white noise. maybe a little louder if i could submit a personal request lol but overall nice touch.
also, the intro music is pretty sweet here
Please do a Video on the Hugo Lloris Innjury and the Treatment on the pitch
Irving, LeVert, Durant, Prince, and Jordan. Dinwiddie, Harris, and Allen off the bench. That's a solid 8 man rotation.
Week 4 - Partial weight bearing
Rigid Plantar Flexion
Week 5 - Partial weight bearing
Less plantar flexion
Week 6 - Full weight bearing (no crutches)
Yet still has foot brace
Week 12 - Balancing on repaired leg with all weight solely on that leg
Not running yet
Strength and stretching of that calf
He should definetely comback and prove eveybody wrong.. brooklyn nets 2020 champ
Durant's skinny leg looks like an arm.
G go go kevin durant
I didn't have that treadmill when I dislocated my ankle. 🥺
I hope he is
Can you please talk about Elena Delle Donne`s herniated disk in the WNBA Finals?
There was another recent Achilles injury this week (Rodney Good). Is there anything one can actually do to strengthen the Achilles to prevent it from tearing?
Can you please compare Durant’s relative quickly recovery timeline to John Wall’s? Even though Wall’s injury occurred much earlier, they’re already saying he could miss this season entirely..
You should talk about Michael Bispings eye injury and talk about how he won the ufc middleweight championship with one eye
Can you do a video on Turf Toe? What is it? What causes it? And why it can be career ending? (or limiting like Deion Sanders who was never the same again)
Hello, this might be very but would you be able to do an explanation on what happens to our fingers when we "jam" them with a basketball?
Do a John wall video and when he should be back around to you
You looked at a study that looks at player Achilles injuries over a period of decades. Haven’t the protocols improved substantially in the past 5 years or so? I thought a big improvement has been starting PT pretty much immediately now, whereas before, docs would put you in a cast for many weeks.
is there a way to check your achilles tendon if when your achilles tendon breaks what year or months
Good video but The background music at the beginning was super super distracting
Kristaps sat out like 2 years in days and a season and a half in NBA time...He had an ACL tear which isn't as bad as an achilles tear. I think Durant should at least sit till the all-star break NEXT SEASON...At least..
I don't want the NBA to lose a player of Durant's caliber.
Can you do Hugo Lloris arm injury?
#NotiGang
It's crazy, it's almost been 6 months since his injury. He could definitely come back this season, but no point. He should just wait till next season. Fully heal then use the summer to get himself back in basketball shape. I think it would be beneficial to play in the Olympics too. He could use that to get some runs in.
he should return till dec 2020
Thats the same thing GSW Doctors said in the finals "ahead of schedule" 🤕
I wanna see him run full court and dunk.
doc idk if you will see this but i NEED a Mason Rudolph video! he just got hurt today, brutally, and i want to know if he will be okay.
Just uploaded. Posturing after the hit indicates more severe brain injury, often predicts longer recovery, but he'll go through concussion protocol same as everyone else
Do Yao Ming and why his career ended
Great call.
Good thing durant not ng GSW management. Because if still he is, they will said he can return next season early. Compromising players health over money..
Can't wait for that moment when Durant average 30+ppg after this injury and then proclaim like "I'm the greatest" like Ali.
there's literally only DOWNSIDES to coming back sooner rather than later. The longer he's out, the more strength he can build in his Tri Surae, and the more size he will add to his achilles as a result (tendons grow and shink according to the forces applied to them - bigger calf muscles? more force, and thus increased tendon width to support such forces. your body does this automatically)
Tore my Achilles, now I know I don’t have an nba staff but it took about 2 years to feel as good as the other one with no tingling. I can tell it was still healing 1.5 year later. He won’t come back this year, the following year he will but won’t be as effective as he used to be. The year after that you might see the best case scenario which is a shadow of his former self.
kd injured his non dominant leg so he still has a good chance of recovering back to his former self
Can you please do Hugo loris
Kevin Durant is a generational talent. Top 10 player of all time. He needs to take the entire season off, and he'll come back just fine.
what surgeon would repair an achilles rupture? general? ortho? plastics?
What are the actual exercise and stretches hes doing?
the Warriors medical staff said the same thing when he got the initial injury and look what happened. Just sit out for the whole season
Khoa Do he sit whole season and he is paid for whole season too that is KD #easyMoneySniper
He was on first take last Thursday and said he wasn't playing at all this season
Can you please do MPJ update now when he is about to hit the floor? He looks good, no one mentions drop foot anymore at all, I don't see him whare brace of any kind.
Another thing is that his whole family are vegetarians and I believe that can have impact on the athletes for sure, he said that he started to eat fish when he entered the NBA and I believe that's great decision but I'm afraid if his body didn't get enough proteins in most important age so maybe that can have consequences to the rest of his career?
I have read that Kyle Lowry had returned 2 months after ACL operation. Is it posible or that is just another bed time story?
Think it was 4 months
@@Drew-.- Thanks man, i'll try to find it.
@@adamchow2509 It says in some article on Reddit, that he dunked with both hands 2 and a half months after surgery, idk the real story behind it 😂
@@Drew-.- It says that Dennis had another extra ligament... That "20% of People actualy have 2 ACLs", well i was not so lucky 😂
I think he might be back by February-May
JJ Barea was cleared for training camp with the Mavs after 7-8 months from his injury
Héctor Vega how tall is jj barea? What’s his expected playing level? Lol. What a crazy comparison
Kobe returned early as well. Not to mention, he was slowly returning to his 2013 self, until "another" unrelated to his Achilles, like his knee or something got injured. So from that point he declined. But he had a history of injuries back then so that doesn't come as a suprise especially given at his age back then. I believe KD can return next yr this season if the doctor clears him and if he wants to.
What “injury”?
@@goldensperm7182 he tore his rotator cuff after his achilles
@@jackward1832 that explains a lot why his jumpshot became very awkward, and he declined after that injury.
What up doc?
His comeback should probably be based on his body not how badly his team needs him, isn't that how he got here to begin with ?
Nah he needs to slow down sit this season out even if they make the nba finals😂😂he’ll come back much more ready and much better
do saquan injury only 10 days and he's back !!!!
He should take the money and run!!!
Brian looks like the big brother of Stephen from Heatcheck
Can you try and do one of these on john wall too
Do we have any photos or info on his progress?
Wall won't be back until maybe December of next season, he's recovering from 2 different injuries
Dont check these much so didn't see you replied butbya, I just saw a video of wall throwing down a dunk recently and shooting in pre game
I don't think he should return this season don't place that pressure on yourself make sure to get yourself 1000% right. I don't care what the NETS are doing b/c you haven't trained like you normally do you haven't gotten back into the real basketball flow that you're normally in and the strength needs to be way better than before like super strong in both legs that's the thing right there and the ankle flexibility. I wouldn't play and mess around with that then have another injury which most do especially when they're trying to come back way too early. Just take this season and then in the summer get all the way right and then be ready for next season PERIODT!!! LOL
I don't care if kd is cleared to play basketball tomorrow. I still want him to play next season
Do Gostkowski
4:44 after my surgery my right leg was much smaller than my left leg. Dead quad and small calve
Did you come back the same?
@@goodman5836 I'm no athlete even though in my teens I use to be able to bang my elbow on the rim. I still have pain 2 years after. Think age is why. I'm 37 and arthritis is probably setting in. I get injected once every 2 months, oddly the doctor never drains my knee
Anticipating the return put Durant where he Is at this stage.... ReHabing.... He should stop 2 years. And Ensure to return stronger and lengthen is Carrier... My Laiman 2 cents....
He's gonna comeback this season
Durant is a giant man with the leg thickness of a tiny woman.
Durant would be fine when he comes back because of his game all he needs to do is shoot the ball and it’s not like he doesn’t shoot over everyone
I think making a comeback during playoffs would be really foolish as the intensity is much higher
id be scared asf for rehab more mental than anything cuz re-injuring would be a bitch
I don´t wanna see him in this seasong. He should stay out, recover nice and easy and attack next season. I also think his return could mess up the Nets more than they would benefit from it. I mean one guy who you trusted all season long will fall out of the starting lineup, the gameplan will change, the chemistry will be disturbed. It is better to adjust all the little things during the season than during the playoff phase.
Please come back man you so fuckin long😭😂 your time with shawn Livingston has really helped and now that your on my team this shit feel fake u can be the mid range god on these lil boys u tooooo long😂😂💯😴
Hugo lloris
If they Nets are barely fighting for playoff spot that is not worth coming back for but that will not happen because the Nets are not gonna fall to anything below the 6th seed.
No way he plays after re-injuring it last year after being pushed to get on the court last year.
I think Durant should sit out the season. I don't think there is any hurry to do so. He'll have plenty of opportunities to compete for a championship.
Durant should just sit out the rest of the year and so should Kyrie Irving
He shouldn't (didn't we learn that lesson already???) but I'm pretty sure he will, barring any setback.
I broke my wrist and it’s been 3 weeks. Anybody know how long until I can play basketball? My school season starts in 4 weeks
Toxic Thomas if you already got 3 weeks. Then probably anywhere between 1 to 3 weeks
Exploration Central thx
Did you not go to a doctor? Lol why ask this question online. We don’t know the severity of your injury
That’s a risk that’s probably not worth taking imo, esp because it’s an achilles. Enjoy the bag, smash some ig models don’t listen to the media and bounce back next szn.
The problem is KD just wanna ball.
@@goodman5836 Facts. He cant stay away from the game
Don't come back this season. Maybe train with the guys later in the season if he is capable and light to medium training. He hasn't played with this new team so he needs to get to know the guys first.
