Sooo I googled the Bonita Vista Ranch and my mind was blown. On top of Dia Abrams going missing and never being found in June 2020, a lady named Jodi Newkirk died on December 23, 2021 at the ranch and it’s believed she was in some kind of relationship with Keith Harper! Here’s a quote:
“On December 23, 2021, Harper called 911 to report Newkirk had been killed at the Bonita Vista Ranch in an ATV rollover accident. Riverside homicide detectives responded to the scene and, days later, put out a news release calling Newkirk’s death suspicious. Newkirk worked on the ranch. Harper was her boss and landlord.
More letters and journal entries have been found, written by a woman who died last month on the Bonita Vista Ranch near Idyllwild.
Family members discovered the letters among Jodi Newkirk's belongings in a nearby rental house.
The letters suggest Newkirk, 46, was in a relationship with her 72-year-old boss at the ranch.”
Keith Harper is who called 911 and reported this woman’s death. And he claims it was an ATV rollover accident, but she supposedly had injuries not consistent with this. I’m not including all the letters they found but you can find them if you Google for them. In my humble opinion, Newkirk’s death makes Keith Harper even more suspicious in Abram’s disappearance and her story needs to be included with Dia’s.

What I noticed from all the interviews was that none of the parties called her "fiancé", "soon to be wife", "mom" or "mother" it looks like everyone close in her life looked out for themselves and money first. I hope she is okay and found the peace she deserves. Even on her last day she was trying to comfort someone else with cinnamon rolls. All signs point to Keith. Seems like a textbook case of switching over the will/insurance at the last minute before the disappearance or "accidental" death. It's unfortunate that Dia sounded fairly isolated at the time of her disappearance. To not know whether or not she was actually dating/engaged to Keith is crazy. That's the true makings of a perfect crime. You have a sprawling property to search, and the suspects are the only people who can speak to what may have happened or where she was at mentally. It's all hearsay until a body is found.

If he was truly concerned about her safety and he saw her phone was in the house wouldn’t he have thought, “oh no she’s hurt with no way of contacting anyone because her phone is right here, i better go look for her.” Instead he waited till the next day to call someone to ask if anyone reported anything?… He should have gone out looking for her instead of waiting till the next day… thats just suspicious in itself.

I just want to note that, when you know someone's general routines and behaviors, it's not odd to call hospitals and jails to see if they are accounted for that way. My mother did it many times when I was missing by 5 or so hours. I was in jail each time which made her sleep better then wondering where I could be.
I am NOT defending this man in any way. I'm just saying it's a pretty common things to happen when someone's routine has suddenly altered.

I find the money situation super interesting. For example, if my dad died and left nothing for my mom, my mom would not have to worry at all. She knows my siblings and I would take care of her. I’m wondering why there was this back and forth. Of course, things are better in writing when it comes to money stability, but suing your own kids And taking their money? It points to a huge problem in their relationship. That being said, I would bet my money on Keith. He SA’d multiple women, and if you do that, you already show that you don’t care about women and their lives. Also the fake signature/page thing is definitely his doing. Clinton has no history of being violent and he would still have some money if his mom won the lawsuit. Sure, things are contentious but it’s not like he’d be left with nothing.

One half of my family turned into absolute devils over like $300k after a family member died. I mean it’s a lot of money but not a windfall that permanently changes ur life. And these people were doing things like driving 4 hours to try to pull money out of a checking acct that didn’t belong to them THE DAY AFTER this person passed and before they were even laid to rest. Showing at the deceased persons home and breaking in to steal possessions/money/car keys. Really made me wonder how many crimes these people had committed in their lives because it seemed to be second nature and all over a couple hundred thousand bucks. Fortunately the Will guaranteed the right person got most of it but about $100k got stolen with no recourse. People get crazy over money.

I'm inclined to think Keith and Diane are the guilty parties. Keith already has a history of violent behavior and the behaviors of both after the disappearance were shifty and obstructive. Additionally, it sounds like the main source of accusations that Clinton was responsible is Keith himself, who is hardly an impartial source.
That being said, I do think that Dia unfortunately wasn't really on good terms with her children. The interview where Clinton denied estrangement felt like someone trying way too hard to prove they had a great and rosy relationship with their mother. But even with the ongoing litigation, it sounds like things weren't exactly going in a direction where he or his sister had to start resorting to murder to keep the money.
I also find the argument that Dia did the Power of Attorney change out of fear of her children to be flimsy because if she did that, I find it hard to believe it would be done so sloppily.
Additionally, I find the lunch interaction prior to Dia's disappearance to be suspicious. If the love of one's life says, "I'm worried about some, I need to talk about this", I'm pretty sure most people would say, "What's the matter?" Not "Mind holding that thought for tomorrow? I'm too busy."
The impression I get is that Keith knew about Dia's strained relationship with Clinton and used that as a cover for himself.

    • @jadeemwi375

Okay so I googled this to see if there was any more info released. Something weird but worth noting is that a woman who lived and worked on Dia's property died there in 2021. Keith called to report her death as an ATV accident and then stopped answering the phone; when the coroner came to look at her body, they said it was suspicious and the woman had 'unexplained injuries inconsistent with an accident' and that the tire tracks didn't indicate an accident at all. But Keith had told the police this big story about how it flipped over on her and he pushed it off and bravely administered CPR but she died anyway, etc, etc... Her name was Jodi Newkirk; her autopsy said she had actually died of a meth overdose and it wasn't clear whether or not she administered the drugs herself. She was also in a sexual relationship with Keith at the time she died... Maybe she knew something...! This guy seems way too sketchy!

The first person you reach out to, a family friend who is also a neighbor, you have their number .... yet can't remember their name? Odd.
I lean more toward Keith being guilty because of the way he acted. The son doesn't need a power of attorney....the case would be dropped in the event of her death. Both had something to gain from this. Someone posted in the comments above that there was the death of another woman on the ranch that Keith could have been responsible for...and some letters. Keith was once a police officer. I am leaning heavily towards him being the guilty party. I don't believe that the son wanted to kill his mother. He just wanted to protect his inheritance from someone taking advantage of his mom. Kinda like what has happened. Lord have mercy. God rest her soul.

How likely is it that both of her grown kids of opposite gender hate their only living parent enough to fight over copious assets. If they really loved & cared about each other, it wouldn’t matter to them who the court awarded money to, they would take care of each other either way. But both your kids hate you enough to fight you in court? They either hated the way they were raised or Keith was behind distancing Dia from her kids. Or both.

Another great video. And, yes, moeny can't buy happiness, but the fact that Dia was so willing to fight her own kids over their inheritance and then disinheritted them speaks volumes about a bad relationship between mother and kids beginning before Clem died. Let's put it this way -- if my father had died and left virtually nothig to my mother, but left me millions, I woud simply have made sure that a lot of those millions went to my mother who had helped grow the family's wealth. There is nothing at all normal or loving about parents and kids fighting it out in court over money. So , notwithstanding the nice photos, Dia's relationship with her kids was apparently rotten for years.

My first gut feeling was that these kids are horrible, imagine telling your mom after 40 years of being with you dad, „yeah that’s fine but now go live with pennies.“ But the more I heard about Keith the more I feel like it was a necessary move out of protection and concern for their mom. This man is vile, his mistress as well and ngl they probably would get better away with it if they not too stupid to use Microsoft Word. I hope that they were equally as sloppy in Dia‘s disappearance and that the police gonna find the evidence they need.

I personally think it’s more likely Keith. Like others have said, the timing of having things switched over is odd. It’s also odd to me he claims her son tried to poison her but it was never reported. If you’re trying to fight a legal battle, having a paper trail against the other person only helps your case. Especially if they’re trying to kill you. It’s possible she was worried about her son, but also possible Keith was filling her head with things to lay the groundwork to others before she disappears.

As for this case, I don't understand how Keith was able to stay on the ranch of Dia went missing when he had absolutley no legal relationship with her. They were not married and she did not leave a will. Additionally, the whole power of attorney document is fradulent. Another thing that bothered me, if the kids were left so much money wouldn't they ensure their mother Dia was well-taken care of, especially since she didn't receive much in Clem's will. There is more to the story there I am sure.
