This is my friend Lauren Cho but she was better known as El and thank you so much for covering her case it means the absolute world to all of us ❤ I met El while dancing together in Bristol township in PA and she had the coolest chicken purse ever LOL and let me tell you she was a force to be reckon with she was an incredibly amazing woman who was a singer a teacher and she had this little parrot named pork chop that she loved more then anything and she would always talk about him it was the cutest thing ever 🥲 but El always wanted to run a food truck so she took a leap of faith packed her bags and moved to Yucca Valley to fulfill her dreams and unfortunately she was taken from us way too soon and I hope the person who did this to her gets there karma 100 fold because El was NOT stupid and would never have just wander off without water and her phone and her money and she most definitely would have told someone where she was going and yes she had some mental health issues but should wouldn't have walked off like this nor would she have ever left her parrot pork chop and unfortunately he did end up dying of a broke heart 😢.... Lauren "El" Cho we love you R.I.P ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Parrot or parakeet? I highly doubt you were as close to her as you say you were... and have you never heard of a comma or period to end your sentences? lol
As someone diagnosed with bipolar disorder it scares/saddens me how anyone who goes missing or is found dead under suspicious circumstances with any history of mental illness is assumed to have had an “episode” or committed suicide… Even people on an antidepressant, just trying to get themselves help is looked down upon. It feels like most people just don’t see mentally ill people as individuals with value. I hope for healing for her family and friends and justice for El.
1000% this! As someone with bipolar I still value my life and I tell people all the time if something happens to me that is made to look like I unalived myself, I didn’t do it!!
Agreed, as someone who has struggled with SI (sorry trying to be semi-discreet for the algorithm and in case of triggers) in the past, the fact that if I vanished or died in a way that COULD be self harm... It scares me that it would be assumed it WAS.
That’s so overboard - everyone sees people with any mental issues ass having “no value”? That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard and maybe you need to recalibrate and realize exactly how many mental I’ll people cops/EMS go out of their way to help on a daily basis. I think people that have nothing to do with law enforcement other than watching these select stories have their perception of reality twisted into something that’s not true because all you’re seeing are hand picked cases that didn’t turn out well.
It breaks my heart that Lauren lived with insecurities about her appearance. She was absolutely gorgeous! I wish that she knew that. Sending lots of love to her family.
I think most of us do, thanks to societys pressure of looking a "certain way". If you're not blonde and skinny you're unworthy, or at least that's what they make us think 😢
Kendall please don’t change this background it’s so pretty and relaxing! Thank you for covering cases that don’t get much coverage ❤. We all appreciate you!
The lack of footprints from her Doc Martens makes me agree with you Kendall, taken killed elsewhere and then returned to near the compound, probably after the large search parties had already been through there. Sincere condolences to her family & friends 💔
How do you suspect that the footprints would have been made? The ground in the desert in over 100 degrees is not going to retain footprints well. This isn't the Sahara with soft dunes. The ground out here is hard and there is actually NOT much loose sand, especially if it is over 100 degrees. Whatever sand there is, wind speeds are usually rather high, rarely clocking below 10 mph. In July 2021, Joshua Tree saw the most rain it would for the whole year. "Oh, that should make the ground soft then, right?" No. 100 degrees, that ground was like ROCK. The ground is already dehydrated from the heat, rainfall causes flooding. The surface of the ground becomes tough and cracked after the water evaporates. Good luck with footprints there my dude.
@@painoftheheart12 I'm going by what Kendall stated in the video, not making assumptions just going on what facts were presented, other shoe prints were found.
@KerryERRN you can literally look up the weather at that time. It rained recently on the 23rd. There would be no footprints of hers. The ground would have been like stone. The footprints that were in the area were from people actively looking for her days, weeks and MONTHS later. Like I get going off of what Kendall is presenting, but I have just lived here all my life with summer thunderstorms and rain and the ground for at least a week after is like shards of glass.
@@painoftheheart12 great you live there so you know, I don't so I just enjoy Kendall's true crime podcasts & go by what she says sometimes I look up the cases to see outcomes, but I'm not looking up weather for the day.
The piercing/tattoo place she worked at is called diamond heart, it’s a great place! That’s where I had the chance to meet her, she helped my cousin and I pick our jewelry for our piercings, she was so awesome and so nice. She really was so vibrant. I really hope that her family gets the answers they deserve. Thank you for keeping her story alive!
This is so sad. My gf and I visited joshua tree July 2021 and saw the missing poster of El after we had a weird encounter with locals of the area. All I can say is little towns like that gives me the creeps and I don’t put it past that there was foul play- I hope el’s family gets the answers and closure they deserve. And even then, only time will ease the pain 🤍
@@desertmoonlight2880 I live down the hill from there. It is absolutely creepy! I know people that live there too, but that doesn’t negate the fact that there are a different breed of people in parts of that area that absolutely give off a creepy vibe.
I knew Lauren in middle and high school and a bit after. She was a gem. Still can’t really believe I’m watching this video. I think about her all the time ❤
this isn't specifically related to this video, but i've been a viewer for a little over two and a half years, and you are by far the best true crime advocate i've found. how you include families talking about their stories about their loved ones so their voices are heard is something so special that you do that i love. you are so respectful and admirable, thank you for your content and your donations and help to those in need
Discovering this channel confirmed my suspicion that the true crime channels I was subscribed to were either doing it for the cash or got a creepy thrill out of the gory details.
@mikesanders8621 no one else I've seen has the care and consideration for victims, thier loved ones, and the case itself. Too many are judgemental and act like this could've never happened to them because they have hindsight. Or throw accusations based on incomplete information due to their egos
it's so frightening how easily/mysteriously people disappear in the desert and our national parks. I hope her family and friends get the answers they need. RIP Lauren. I see those that love her refer to her as El. RIP El 💗
Also very frightening when the investigators hear about mental health they just give up it seems or need more info….. also Kendall my mom always told me to place my cat on their new furniture or in a a new litter box it helps them warm up! 🙄🙄🙄🙄
As someone who knew of Lauren Cho from going to a piercing studio she used to work at, thank you for covering her case. She was always so positive and kind ❤
Unfortunately I actually believe she could've gotten lost and walked that far, trying to get back. All it would've taken is one instance of not knowing the direction of where she came from. When you're surrounded by desert like that, it's easy to lose grasp on your orientation.
@@fabialvarez13 Yeah for sure, I've been in the woods before and gotten turned around, and if there aren't any signs of where you came from like a trail or footprints, it would be pretty easy to get disoriented (especially after drinking) and walk for miles just hoping you're going in the right direction
Doesn’t explain why her body wasn’t found for months when she only walked by foot. Also there were no signs of her footprints anywhere. I'm pretty sure someone picked her up and killed her
I agree it’s easy to get lost in the wilderness like that but I find it odd that she was so close, yet wasn’t found during any of the searches. I’d think those dogs would’ve easily found her, or the plane that flew over. She was wearing a yellow shirt. Just seems odd, imo
Okay, this set up.. the background, the mic, the picture quality… what did we do to deserve this?!?! Also you look GORGEOUS!! I swear you have been glowing since you were first pregnant, and still now! 💜
It’s honestly terrifying how many cases get brushed off because the victim has/had mental health issues. I have bipolar disorder and hearing these videos, I know that the police are so much less likely to go looking for me if I’m in danger because of my past. Many people who have struggled with their mental health in the past are more afraid of death than usual because of the relationship we’ve previously had with death. It absolutely breaks my heart.
I 100% agree and understand. But I don't think people dismiss the missing because they don't care about mental health issues (or drug issues, or prostitution), but because these are people who are much more likely to disappear by choice. They take off and come back days, weeks, or months later. It's not a sleight at any of those suffering from these conditions....it's just the reality for law enforcement and investigators who see these types of people turn up later.
If a trained canine cannot pick up on a scent, unfortunately I have to agree with you Kendall about the possibility of her body being moved. I would also like to send my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Lauren Cho. I am sorry for your loss. ❤
I really like the new set up. Your animals bring some light to us as we hear such dark true crime stories. It actually helps to feel less anxious when you have animals on as we watch. And you look so beautiful! Thank you for being you! ❤
Remember when Barney flipped off the bed? 🥴 I was like “Did he REALLY just do that in the middle of her story?” 😆 Then Kendall had the nerve to do an instant replay and slowed it down! Love the animals!! 😄
After spending so much time in the AZ and NM deserts, I've come to realize that many of those communes, compounds, and camping areas are absolutely wonderful for the artsy, free-spirited, out-of-the-box thinkers, but...they're also havens for the fringes of society who try to escape the law, problems, or even themselves. While El was probably surrounded by wonderful people, I wouldn't doubt one bit that there was someone in the same general area who wasn't as good-hearted as El and her peers. That person probably picked her up when they saw an opportunity. I know of several places where there are nice little communities that have been built and, not too far from those, there's a much darker element. I feel so bad for her family and friends.
Yes I saw a video about this area. He talked about the artsy people and those who are escaping from society. Issues with the law, drugs and mental health issues.
I agree, I love going to the desert and I’ve been to Joshua tree, salvation mountain , east jesus and anza borrego areas and although they are beautiful and full of a lot of good people their is also a lot of weirdos in the desert who choose to live there cause of the remoteness of it ..
That is so true. I grew up in the Coachella valley, and I never went out into the desert areas where it was secluded... I get the idea of being free and away from typical society, but so many bad things happened out there! It was terrifying to me as a young person.
My sister Toni went missing last July. She abandoned her car with her keys, purse, and other personal affects inside. It’s thought she disappeared into the desert and has yet to be found. Police searched by air for a few days and then one day on foot. 3 months later we were able to get a large search party with cadaver dogs to search and they found nothing. She suffered with depression, paranoia, and anxiety. Police can’t do much because there’s no evidence of a crime. It’s so hard to go through this and I feel for her family. Thank you for sharing Lauren’s story. I hope her family and friends are able to get closure. ❤
I cannot imagine what you are feeling right now. This is heartbreaking and I am sending you so much strength. You are so loved. Praying your sister is safe.
What a beautiful young woman she was! I could not believe my ears when you said that there are 90,000 people missing in the US. I wish her family and friends get some answers and that justice will be served. On another note, the lighting and colours of your new setting is great. It is calming to me 💙💜
I have no personal connection to El, nor got the chance to be around her vibrant energy... but through the photos, her spirit leaps off the media. Her end, like many others, were unfounded and unjust. Her smile speaks so loudly. I hope that the many lives she touched throughout her life are able to find peace.
I knew her in passing, she worked at the piercing shop near me...always so kind every time I was there. It's so heartbreaking, but I'm glad people are talking about her and bringing awareness to her story
Kendall, my girl, you are ✨GLOWING✨hair looks phenomenal and as always thanks you for your dedication and hard work with each and every case . We viewers appreciate everything you do.❤
you can tell that she was the type of person that left an impact others with how beautiful her soul and spirit was. i hope her and her family gets justice. RIP, Lauren Cho. 🩷
I remember this case... The last I heard of it, she hadn't been found yet. I'm glad there's an update and that she could be laid to rest. Rest in peace, El.
I’m REALLY digging this lighting vibe. I’ve been watching your videos for years and it has been really fun to watch your scene change. This lighting is probably my favorite so far! It’s really unique and speaks to the tone of the videos really well!
OMG I'm so ecstatic that Kendall is covering this case. When the Gabby case was going on, I had heard about Lauren missing in a very similar way and her story was completely overshadowed. As a Korean American, I was so saddened to see her case just brushed off by the general public, but we all know how it goes with POC and "missing" cases.
@@origamikami3486 Kendall has such a huge platform, so when she covers POC cases, I feel like it gets so much traction! I had friends telling me about the Shanquella Robinson case and the source was from Kendall!
What you do is truly amazing, you’ve inspired me to try and get more coverage for a local case that’s never been solved in my home town, hopefully we can get justice
Kendall, there is a woman from Tomball, TX that has been missing since March 2023. Her name is Kay-Alana Turner. She was having a mental health crisis and is now a missing person. Her family has been trying to spread the word and I’m sure it would mean the world if you bring her case to light.
I saw a billboard with her name on it. My town is 2.5 hours from you guys but the word is getting out. ❤ I hope Kendall can feature her and she can be found.
It makes me wonder if the amount of drinking by the friends could have skewed their thoughts about how quickly they went out looking for her. If they were extremely intoxicated, it could have been 30-45 minutes before they went looking for her, rather than 10. This case is wild and completely heartbreaking. 😞
I live near bombay beach, on the the northern part of the Salton Sea. All locals know … Joshua Tree is a hot spot where people take psychedelics because of the trees and the stars. A lot of hikers go missing here. A lot of people go out there alone too. I think a lot of people have bad trips, it happens a lot. It’s really dangerous out there! It’s like getting lost at a forrest almost.
This is exactly what I thought when I heard that he started looking for her after 10 mins. I'm kinda surprised that accident isn't being proposed as one of the scenarios here.
In truth, nobody was drinking, let alone drunk that day. El had grabbed a bottle of tequila as she stormed off, which somehow via the game of telephone turned into “they were day drinking” when the housekeeper repeated the story. But that was absolutely not a factor whatsoever, el was not a very big drinker, nor was anyone staying there.
The closest I can compare this to was when I went to college (party school by the beach). It was common knowledge not to drink by the cliffs because every year a few kids fall and die (so sad). Sure enough it happened my year, too. Is it something like that with Bombay Beach or less common? We recently went to Joshua Tree and there were signs everywhere to pack water, etc. and how not to die in the desert. It’s an intense part of the world.
She sounds like she was a very beautiful soul. So sorry to the loved ones who lost her. No one deserves losing someone with no answers. I hope they figure out what happened so the family can continue to heal.
Not related to video but ever since you had baby, you are literally glowing! You just look so beautiful and radiant and motherhood does you good Kendall! You are amazing and thank you for your content and helping those in need!
Went to school with El, and she was truly a joy to be around. Lovely voice, too. It's still a shock to me every time I see her face/name on these videos...
I pray this family gets the answers they need. Unfortunately my brother disappeared in January of this year and was found a month later, 2 miles from his home in some woods. He had parked there and committed suic*de. It is an awful thing for a family to go through. So, I hope the cops leave no stone unturned during the investigation. Because this family needs answers, so they can start to heal. My love and prayers are with them. ❤
It really stops you in your tracks listening to one of these videos and realizing this was someone from your home town and high-school. So often I think we listen to these cases and feel sympathy for their family and friends but it can be hard understanding the reality until it hits home.
As someone who hikes in the California desert, I can absolutely see how she could have succumbed to the elements that quickly. I've gotten heat exhaustion after an hour of being in that heat, even while wearing a camelback and a hat, drinking water the entire time. That sun and wind is brutal and it saps the energy and moisture right out of your body. I cannot imagine being intoxicated in that heat. I can absolutely see how she could have gotten disoriented and sick even after only ten minutes.
This is so heartbreaking. You can tell from the description and few photos shown here that Lauren was an interesting, dynamic, and fun person. I have lost a child under very different circumstances (not mysterious) and that is brutal - but I can't imagine the additional torment of not knowing what happened to their beautiful Lauren. My heart goes out to her family and friends, I hope they get some resolution.
I’m from Pittsburgh, PA. A young woman named Kaylene Oehling went missing 3 yrs ago, and her remains were just found. Please consider covering this case, as there was hardly any coverage of it on my city. Thanks ❤️
I hate saying this....but the closure for their family...is something at least. Its most definitely not the outcome anyone wants but they have answers. Finally. But probably with more questions now. And my heart truly, goes out to all who knew them. 😔🫂
To Lauren's family and others who loved her: I'm so sorry for the loss of Lauren. Her vibrant personality leaps off the screen, and it's a tragedy that she didn't have the opportunity to finish building her dream food truck. May you all find the justice she deserves.
I personally believe it was just a very unfortunate set of circumstances. Being intoxicated already dehydrates you, and then you throw walking around in 100+° heat for over 10 mins... I think she got disoriented and lost and just unfortunately succumbed to the elements. Hopefully they do get answers someday, but it's unlikely given how bad the decomposition was. Very sad situation.
I feel like part of this story is missing. The police found no shoe prints from her shoes, but saw the prints of all her friends. She left her phone and all her belongings at the compound. Is there evidence exonerating the people that she was with? Because it seems weird that they found all her friend's prints but never found any of her's. And its weird that she would get up and walk away, leaving behind absolutely everything on a 110 degree day in the desert.
Right!!!! They definitely know more or Even worse were apart of it...how can they just go off by what her EX "said" ...like we really gonna believe she just walked off but their is no evidence of that???? RED FLAG!
I agree… it’s very odd that her distinct shoe prints were never found. I also think it’s weird that everyone just let a drunk and agitated woman walk alone into the desert. Poor baby Rip lauren
I feel the same. Is no one question the cult like group she was living with? Like you said, it wouldn’t make sense that her prints weren’t found, but theirs were? They said it was 10-20minutes before they started looking for her… something is definitely suss about them. There’s definitely a piece of the puzzle that’s missing or was ignored.
My condolences to the family of Lauren. As a mom of young adult kids, it is hard letting them spread their wings and hope for the best. It is devastating when something like this happens, and you don't know what happened. No closure, just questions. Sending good vibes and prayers for the family and friends. I hope the people in that community take care because I genuinely believe foul play took place. This girl was living a free life and had a big heart.
I hope it's some small comfort to the family that at least thousands of people got to know a little about El and what a cool person she was. She was very impressive, and I wish things had turned out differently for her. 💛
I was in joshua tree in July 2021 and signs for her were everywhere in the park. I do praise them for making information about her disappearance very easy to see. Sad to know this is still unsolved.
😔 she gives me the vibes of something super loving and fun to be around. im so sorry for the people who were close to her, and lost this light in their lives.
If you were drinking out in the desert, and left on foot without water, you could get dehydrated and disoriented really quickly (even with water tbh). In the summer I see so many stories about hikers needing to be rescued. Sadly, some do pass away while hiking/biking in extreme temps. It can happen to anyone and at any level of fitness. If you were also drinking, that adds another layer of risk. Who knows if that’s what happened, but do be careful in the summer in the desert. 😢
This poor girl deserves justice! The family is deserving of answers. I live in San Bernardino county and sadly, I never saw this in the local media or news. The system is corrupt 😭 rest easy beautiful soul.
This is such a sad case 😭 she seemed like such a sweet, quirky, amazing soul ❤ my heart goes out to the family, I’m so so so terribly sorry for your loss.
Really love your voice and your story telling abilities, Kendall. You are always so kind about the victims. I noticed your cat was up in the cat tree after all!! Seeing its ears poking out was such a nice chill backdrop.
I live in Yucca Valley and remember sharing her photo when she was missing. Many of us in town were aware but definitely didn’t get big media attention just hometown Facebook group attention. It is easy to get lost in the desert out here, so horribly sad. Sending love to her family, she seemed like an amazing person
As a Korean American named Lauren I'm so glad you covered her story as during the time I felt like her story didn't get enough coverage and got hidden by Gabby's case. I was upset and stepped away from the true crime community for a bit.
Maybe Gabby's family put more effort to get her case out there. I wouldn't stop shouting from the rooftops if that was my daughter, even if there was another family going thur the same thing. Only victim liberls make it about race.
Sending love from one Lauren Lee to another 🖤 I can't stand the fact that her case was overshadowed by Gabby's case when both were extremely important!!!
It’s the way you tell these stories with so much compassion and empathy. Something many UA-camrs lack. Love you Kenall ❤ I sincerely and wholly wish you nothing but the best 😘😘😘
I’m pretty sure El helped me pick out my nose jewelry when I got it pierced in 2019. She was so sweet and kind. I went to Central, though I was a few classes younger. I’m so sorry for her family. Rest in peace, El.

Wow I’m so excited you’re covering this. She worked at the tattoo shop I frequent and went to the same high school as my daughter. This affected many many people in my area.
I've been following this cases since she went missing. Every couple of months I'd look it up and nothing had changed. Thank you so much for covering it. Rip El and Pork chop 🦋
Man, she had a lot of talents and that's so awesome! So sad that such a beautiful and talented person is gone too soon. Whatever happened, I hope her family and friends can find some peace. And if someone did this to her, I hope they're caught and punished. RIP Lauren.
Thank you Kendall for giving a voice and shining the light on people who have gone missing and whose stories must be heard, but the media has no interest, or little interest in. Those are the ones I look out for the most.
Gosh I relate to her interests so deeply along with the mental health struggles. She seems like someone I would have loved to be friends with🥺❤️ I am praying for her family and friends and hope they get answers soon. Thank you for sharing and spreading the word.
As an autistic I so relate to her desire to collect little things and gift them to everyone. What happened to her is horrible. Thank you for covering her case Kendall❤️❤️❤️
I live in San Bernardino county and I remember seeing that she was missing and then when they found her. I always thought it was foul play. Whether people want to admit it or not Joshua tree has a history for hikers going missing. It’s very sad and I hope she’s at peace and that her family is healing from it.
I just recently visited the area and tried to stay at an air bnb that was a camper in yucca valley after we hiked at Joshua tree. 2 men stopped us in the middle of a desert road on our way to our air bnb (15 mins from Joshua tree) and tried to show us the sign to hitch hike. I immediately locked my doors and shook my head. They both literally jumped in front of my car. When I shook my head they started banging on my windows and trying to open the doors. I sped away. It was the scariest situation I’ve ever been in. They chased after my car. They were cussing at us saying we were bi***es. We canceled our air bnb since it was literally 2 mins from where they tried to get in the car. We had to call San Bernardino police.
I was on a trip in Moab with some friends around the same time as Gabby and Lauren. We hiked so much and I grew up in the desert so the heat doesn’t usually bother me. However, even I felt it difficult sometimes. Out there there is so many people but it’s also very easy to find yourself separated from your party or lost. It wasn’t until a few days after I got home that we learned about these two cases. I believe there was another person who was missing or something similar. A lot happened in such a small time frame. It’s pretty eerie to think that these things were happening around us.
She seemed like such a magical soul! just looking at those eyes and hearing about her, i know she would’ve done some amazing things out there. rest in peace beautiful 🥺💗

@@painoftheheart12 That was my thought too. If there was any wind it could have obsucred her footprints.
Kendall, the setup is amazing. So unique and beautiful with a wonderful way to include your animals. ❤
And even then, only time will ease the pain 🤍
how dare you say the town creepy to get likes I know alot of people who live there

I admire the passion, determination and drive of Lauren. She seems like a woman of several talents and strengths.
I 100% agree and I love Kendall for pointing out the statistics of bipoc victims not getting as much coverage.
Agreed. I’ve been watching her for years too, love her empathy, in-depth research and delivery.
Completely agree!! I want to donate to every case I can because Kendall is doing what actual reporters aren’t
I am definitely someone that could get lost really fast in a desert like that.
The only thing is why wasn’t her body found then if they did a search of the area cuz she wasn’t so far off from the Airbnb
Okay, this set up.. the background, the mic, the picture quality… what did we do to deserve this?!?! Also you look GORGEOUS!! I swear you have been glowing since you were first pregnant, and still now! 💜
Right?! Is it normal for new moms to look this good? Lol.
I agree 💯 she's always been pretty, but since becoming a mom, she is stunning 😍
I thought the same ❤ this didn’t happen to me lol😂
I agree!! So pretty. ❤
I second this!!! LOVE love love the new setup 😍
It absolutely breaks my heart.
i've had poor mental health for years, it's like saying she killed herself because she had a broken leg = ridiculous
Which is why I tell my loved ones . If I go missing don’t tell them I’m bipolar
Honestly, who isn't suffering from time to time these days?
I 100% agree and understand. But I don't think people dismiss the missing because they don't care about mental health issues (or drug issues, or prostitution), but because these are people who are much more likely to disappear by choice. They take off and come back days, weeks, or months later. It's not a sleight at any of those suffering from these conditions....it's just the reality for law enforcement and investigators who see these types of people turn up later.
True, and god forbid you're also non-white and/or a drug user, you're basically completely fucked lol it's scary
@@cindyhancock6034 would you mind sharing which video it was?
Well said
I agree, I love going to the desert and I’ve been to Joshua tree, salvation mountain , east jesus and anza borrego areas and although they are beautiful and full of a lot of good people their is also a lot of weirdos in the desert who choose to live there cause of the remoteness of it ..

OMG I'm so ecstatic that Kendall is covering this case. When the Gabby case was going on, I had heard about Lauren missing in a very similar way and her story was completely overshadowed. Kendall, there is a woman from Tomball, TX that has been missing since March 2023. Her name is Kay-Alana Turner. She was having a mental health crisis and is now a missing person. Her family has been trying to spread the word and I’m sure it would mean the world if you bring her case to light.
Great idea! Just so you know Kendal has a submission form where you can make a suggestion for her next video🥰
That’s very sad I live in Texas and have not heard of her
I saw a billboard with her name on it. My town is 2.5 hours from you guys but the word is getting out. ❤ I hope Kendall can feature her and she can be found.
I live in Tomball TX and this is the first I’m hearing of this :(
I’ve been reposting her poster like crazy, I hope they find her
It makes me wonder if the amount of drinking by the friends could have skewed their thoughts about how quickly they went out looking for her.

It really stops you in your tracks listening to one of these videos and realizing this was someone from your home town and high-school. So often I think we listen to these cases and feel sympathy for their family and friends but it can be hard understanding the reality until it hits home.
I love this new background. Its so mellow and chill and I think that's important for both you and us while discussing such dark subjects.
Wow, what a beautiful soul! The world needs more people like Lauren. My condolences to her family and friends. ❤
Totally agree. It's incredibly unfortunate, but I don't think anything else happened to her other than succumbing to the elements of the desert..
I can't help but feel the same way. I sincerely hope there wasn't foul play but something tells me her death was a tragic accident
I agree. I think it was just an accident, caused by drinking and making a poor decision. I can't see anything that suggests foul play here yet.
Perhaps, but they looked around the area she was found before and was not seen. That is very suspicious.
The area was searched. By many. Also aerial done. And she wasn't seen. 🤔 Definite foul play. She was placed there...😔
This is so heartbreaking.

Her friend would've still found her shortly after death though if that were the case ❤❤❤
Lauren seemed like such a cool person. Very sad what happened to this poor woman.
RED FLAG!
Sounds like her body was carried to the spot 😔
I agree… it’s very odd that her distinct shoe prints were never found. I also think it’s weird that everyone just let a drunk and agitated woman walk alone into the desert. Poor baby Rip lauren
I feel the same. Is no one question the cult like group she was living with? Like you said, it wouldn’t make sense that her prints weren’t found, but theirs were? They said it was 10-20minutes before they started looking for her… something is definitely suss about them. There’s definitely a piece of the puzzle that’s missing or was ignored.
Side eyeing the people she went on this lil trip with for sureeee 👀🤷🏿♀️

I hope the people in that community take care because I genuinely believe foul play took place. This girl was living a free life and had a big heart.

Whether people want to admit it or not Joshua tree has a history for hikers going missing. It’s very sad and I hope she’s at peace and that her family is healing from it.
I think that's because it's quite a dangerous desert and a LOT of inexperienced hikers end up in bad situations there.
