I had terrible luck last time I was in parker. I had just crossed the bridge from California going into Arizona, and some guy ran the stop sign and plowed into my truck and totaled it. I was moving from Texas back to California and lost everything I owned. Luckily my dog survived. Ended up staying a week in the hospital in Parker. So be careful through that area lol. Wasn't a lot I could do about it since it happened on Indian property. Safe travels my friend

My wife's family and I used to come out to La Paz County park like 15 years ago and camped up there. It's such a nice camping spot. We came around the 4th of July and man it cooked. Safe travels!

You know it’s almost winter when RVerTV is back in Quartzite and Parker. Sucks that the blue water doesn’t allow dry camping. It was a nice place to hang out get some buffet and relax for a few.

Well that really ticks me off! We have LOVED staying at the Bluewater Casino dry camping in the past and are very sad they no longer allow it. I understand the casino needing to 'take back' their parking lot. It's too bad there are those types who ruin it for those of us who obey the rules, don't make a mess and appreciate the free dry camping spots provided by businesses. We will miss our stay at Bluewater this winter.

Hey Russ, happy Friday! Right at the beginning you drive past the Visitor Center -- I stopped in for information back in April, some really nice folks working there. You can just get a glimpse of the giant railroad wrecking crane off to the right at 0:13 -- a very impressive machine! I had to rewind the part where you're going past that Circle K...$3.99/gallon?! Wow, I just paid $5.66 in San Jose -- lower gas prices are a big added bonus when I go out of state on roadtrips. Happy trails!

Man oh man I sure miss fishing I thought about it all my life when I last fished with my dad and Shasta lake out in Redding California of course that's where Shasta lake is of course I don't know what it looks like out there anymore I haven't been to California for geez I think it's been about 30 years so long ago I love to just stare at the water and listen to the sound of the water while I'm fishing and every once in awhile some days are different you get to watch the fish jump out of the water sometimes they'll even just stick their lips out of the water and then go back into the water I thought that was funny 😂😂

Thanks for the views of the Parker area. I have been there once but it was more than 50 years ago when my parents took me to visit one of our former neighbors who had retired to Parker to live in an Airstream travel trailer. I waded in the Colorado but gee I was a child.

Parker Strip used to be the only (paved) road between Parker and Lake Havasu. They completed the bypass in the mid '80's.
The Strip used to be a lot of fun back in the day.
To bad about the bluewater casino parking lot. Used it a couple times , Thanks for the heads up. Was up to Zion national park this summer for a week. Pretty warm

I meant Blue Water Casino. It was nice to see a theater in the area too. It's a shame that people ruined having a place to rest over night.

Nice video. We stay at La Paz and next door at River Island every 3rd weekend in March.
Cleaned my lincoln out right here . Fire dept had to jump my battery. Walked there rode bk in brand new fire truck.
Wow no water shortage for them. Great video love tagging alone. Hope to be traveling soon walking better trying to ride more in car. What to come south have a lot of things to see as you know. Tks again😅

My class A RV got rear ended in Parker by a pick up pulling an airstream camper. Guy said he was distracted by the train depot.

No water shortage there interesting 🤔 Here is SoCal we have water restrictions so they can have green grass while ours is slowly dieing. Phew!
U just drove past my house...lol.. and yes those are homes not condos. There is one building that is 2 condos, after that homes and one other set that are townhouses

Yeah I can't believe that all of the golf courses are still being watered the canal that feeds lake Mathews near the Parker dam is not pumping water to Southern California they're all American canal is really low the Coachella valley canal going to Indio real low The high line canal going to night in California low running out of water look at lake Mead the pipe that feeds the city with water couldn't even pump last week but yet we still allow the golf courses to be green sickening my water bill in California over $100 for a single family home insane
MY GOLF COURSE OUT HERE RUNS OFF WELL WATER LIKE ALOT OF THEM SOOOO……. ALSO CALIFORNIA TAKES AND WASTES MOST ALL OF THE WATER THIS RIVER PRODUCES …. SO WHY BLAME TTHE STATES UP RIVER 🙄🙄😒😒😒

Pirate's Den is expensive. Their market is high end Class A RVs.
Russ. We enjoy your travels, but boy you glossed over LaPaz. Drive through it sir. We think it is much better and better laid out than the Pirates Den park which is tighter and costs more than our stays at LaPaz
