Artemis 1 is NASA's first test flight of the gargantuan SLS Block 1 rocket and its Orion crew spacecraft. The SLS will launch from Launch Pad 39B, and propel the uncrewed Orion spacecraft into a trans-Lunar trajectory, after which Orion will detach and fly into Lunar orbit for 6 days. It is due to launch sometime in January/February 2022.

I watched the Artemis I launch, and I couldn’t help but shed a tear or 2 when I saw the SLS rocket launch off of 39B. I can’t believe we’re going back to the moon.
I’d like to live to see us land on the moon.

@@deathvalley006 Art 3 is happening next year. So, as long as you aren't currently dying or are horribly sick, you should make it no problem! I can't wait, either, since I'm only 33 and have never seen man step foot on the moon in real time. Rovers are one thing, but Humans are HUGE. I hope we both make it to see history!

This is really well done! The liftoff shot at 0:44 felt very SCALE. Idk if that was video speed, or the TWR was just right, but either way the finished shot looks fantastic.
thanks! it was a bit of a coincidence as the TWR of my replica is a bit low on launch and it looked like the saturn v footage where it slides past the camera so i left it in

I downloaded ur craft, its very impressive to me. I deleted the core and inspect the 2nd stage I found a fairing moved away from it's base at the nozzle extension. how did u do that?

I have a question about scatterer, whenever I try to install it from Ckan or the website the entire atmosphere is solid white. Once I uninstall it goes back to normal, any tips?
