I have the V7 in four string. It IS truly exceptional. I'm sure the PJ type is equally as brilliant. For basses with a low B I would prefer a 35" scale but Hey! I know 34" can work too; on some basses, not on others...
Would you guys do another video of the P7 where you do your usual methodical run through the sounds of the various pickup and tone combinations? I didn’t really get a good sense of the range of sounds the P7 can make,
Actually, there are 7 if you factor in that 2 of them are dual function. Volume, tone, pickup blend, treble, mid frequency, mid boost/cut and bass eq. If you switch it to passive mode only the volume, tone and pickup blend knobs function.
Due to a scheduling conflict, Nathan was almost certainly watching Cash in the Attic wearing nothing but his undies working his way through a Walkers 32 variety pack.
Stunningly good sound from these new Sire P7 basses. Like the V7, these sound as good or better than many Fender basses. Well done Sire, Marcus and Andertons.
sorry, but he was so annoying up there, I was really waiting for that sire p7 review, he crashed the review bad. Please do a second one, leaving him with is guitar else where, far.
I'm sure it plays as good or even better than a traditional Fender P-Bass or Jazz. But I play a Fender Deluxe V5 and it doesn't come close. At least the V7 didn't. It just doesn't feel and expressive like my Fender. But I'm still interested in the P-7. I hear like its a lot deeper so maybe I'll give it a try.
Does anyone know if you can put a fender neck on one of these? I love everything about the basses, except for Marcus Miller’s name plastered on the headstock. It just doesn’t look the part. After all, it’s s Sire bass, not a Marcus Miller bass.
Lee is the man both in playing and reviewing the basses . He has it just right . Danish Pete and Nathan appear to think their sense of humour is more important than the product review . guys , I’m all for a bit of fun but please take a leaf out of lee’s book and concentrate on the instruments. Danish petes constant interruptions while lee is trying to describe the instruments is annoying. It’s not a comedy show !! 🙂
Originality for originality sake hangs on the wall of music stores unsold. PJ is a great sounding, versatile pup combination that amateur and pro bass players absolutely love. These Sire P7 basses will sell as well as the V7: like hot cakes.
It's becoming harder and harder to find a P-bass that is a P-bass, plays well and is affordable. There used to be a time when pretty much every affordable bass was a P-bass. But now most of them are PJ, P in every way except for the neck being a J, or have a pricetag of over £500 (P and J pickups with P neck is unusual).
I gotta say, tho...Petes coffee must be powered by Hennesey.
+Tom Ahoks Or something else... ;-)
looks like he certainly NOSE all about his bass GEAR
Andertons Music Co I thinks its crack way too hyper active

+Christian Damm hahah

Yeah, this Pete guy talks too much about random shit
3:53 five twenty.
Rubba DUB DUB.
+Max A. Legendary overdub.
Danish Pete is so good, you could put him in a video with anything (a pasta plate, a legless cat, a rotten cactus ...) that we would all click on it.
When your guitar has more knobs than strings...
The guitars I see in this vid has between 2 and 4 knobs..
Actually, there are 7 if you factor in that 2 of them are dual function. Volume, tone, pickup blend, treble, mid frequency, mid boost/cut and bass eq. If you switch it to passive mode only the volume, tone and pickup blend knobs function.
Well, I can see that the basses has 7 but on the guitars, it's between 2 and 4 :-P
Got it. I should have read your reply more closely. :)
Bass Player counting - One, Two, Three, Four ,,, many
Due to a scheduling conflict, Nathan was almost certainly watching Cash in the Attic wearing nothing but his undies working his way through a Walkers 32 variety pack.
As he always does on the second Friday of December
It'd be nice to have Pete do a review on lap slide resonators lol
Stunningly good sound from these new Sire P7 basses. Like the V7, these sound as good or better than many Fender basses. Well done Sire, Marcus and Andertons.
@bflo1000 would be an interesting question cause an american pj would cost like 4 times more
The P body sits in a guitar stand, no tilting.
I like the way the price of the Swamp Ash model has been dubbed over the top.
Wait a minute that new bassist looks familiar.
Is there anything Pete can't play?
+subisci Bridge!!
bass
Tell that to Rob Scallon.
sorry, but he was so annoying up there, I was really waiting for that sire p7 review, he crashed the review bad. Please do a second one, leaving him with is guitar else where, far.
Back in school his recitals on recorder kinda sucked.
Great playing, mates! I'm waiting for a passive version of the P7. Keep up the awesome reviews! I love your work.
It literally has a passive mode, and tone!
that would be the p5 now, its passiv
Ooooooweeeee! That little riff where you get together at :40 is tasty!
The most Danish bass show on youtube.
What do you mean about that ahah

Please tell me there gonne be a Sire P7 in black with maple neck/fingerboard like in the V7 series. Love the look, very rock
Oh my gosh,,, and they are reasonably priced. Nice.
I have the one that the guy on the left has in 5 string I absolutely love that bass guitar excellent
That's probably the only time they didn't censor the word "shit". Also, 520.
I don't know who Pete is but he's 100% nuts lol
Amazing final jam
Please do a comparison of all Marcus Miller Bases please please please please
Danish Pete + Nathan=silly comedy overload! No wonder we don't see them together.
What about the fretlesses?
The v7 or this? Or the v5…
Are you getting any of the left handed models in or available to order?
7:03 Lee you're frickin' awesome :D
Five Hundred and Twenty
Lee in Background: "PETE OH MY GOD SHUT UP!"
these are the funkiest uk cats ive seen this month.
Hey, it’s bully!
Hey guys, I was wondering what's the general opinion about the Player Series Jaguar, and how can we compare it with the P7.
The Sire Is better
Fret buzz?
Pete said shit! D:
Danish Pete is learning how to be a bass player, pick up the bass, plug it in and turn up the volume...Done! Tuning and tone optional.
Playing the right notes in time is also optional.
Couldn't watch this :) Don't let Nathan take anymore vacations!
The guy looks like Mike Bradley ( sounds the same way too...hellloooooo...)😁
Never mind all that, you guys need to do a full boogie woogie/blues flat picking video so I can steal some more chops. ; )
Pete. o_O Dollops of musicality from *whatever* happens to be in his hands. Not gonna lie- having to fight the jealousy quite hard here! :)
Price supplied by the talking clock.

Danish Pete ruined this for me, honestly.

The problem with your reviews is, you're talking way toooooooooooooooooo much.

first like ! but wait.. Pete? bass? damn!
Play the damned 5!
Seriously! I was waiting and waiting the whole video for one of them to go off on that thing. It's sitting right there!!
Lee is so good though
Dont quit your day job boys
Know what's missing from this video? Nathan.
Who's Danish Pete's cocaine supplier?
Just a shame that headstock is so ugly as these are lovely basses otherwise.
lol 520
Is Danish Pete paid in cocaine?
+Mase D He wishes!!!
Pete is an amazing guitarist. Doesn't Andertons have a resident bass man
Yes. Nathan.
What is this filthy guitarist doing in my bass video?!
Pete,change a dealer man...

So awkward xD
please don't snort coke and do videos.
He knows nothing about the bass and he’s on video demoing them? At least he’s not insufferable…oh wait yes he is.

The worst review ever. Nothing personal, but a way too much noise, jokes and talking overdubs. Wish I could hear alder/rosewood alone..
Annoying conversation. .
You don’t have to watch it ;-)
How will i know about the product? Is that how you speak to your customer?
