I'm about to comment the same thing.. we lined the inside of the bamboo with banana leaf before we put in uncook pulut (sticky rice) and santan (coconut milk) with a bit of garam( salt) and then after that we lined the bamboo near a fire to cook it for several hours..never heard of anyone using pandan leaf for the lemang😁
Correction. Syuk Kibum tend to agree to everything You said...ehehe....Lemang is not wapped in pandan leaf but Banana leaf and you can found lemang and rendang not only during Hari Raya. They are everywhere now. To Syuk Kibum...all the best and thanx for inviting them for open house.
Sho already fell in love with Lemang. The good taste is actually coming from coconut milk + sugar and salt. The smell coming from Daun Lerek (not daun pandan actually).

Hari raya is festival of meeting. Meeting of unknown people, lost friends or relative and refresh any hate and anger with close person. No need for inviting cards, every house ready and prepare for any kind of guest. My opinion, please enter any house and eat as much as you could because they visit many house and foods untouchable plus they still have ramadhan fever.
