Those who think Zakrin is not telling the truth, you are wrong. As a family I am ashamed to say my cousin was abusive to both his wives. I have listened to both their stories. Zakrin didn’t know how to fight him back for many reasons. She didn’t have the mental strength, financial capacity, she was made homeless and spoke no English. She was made to look like an unfit mother. Rezwan was fed many lies against his own mother and possibly threatened. He became traumatized every time she had visitation with him. For Rezwan’s sake she made the wrong decision to stay away from him. Unless you are in that situation and gone through what she has, no one has the right to judge her. Making the wrong decision under duress and trauma is normal and forgivable. Have some empathy for this mother. She stayed away to protect him. Now he is almost 18, all she wants just a little space in his life and a chance to tell him her side. Rezwan is almost 18 and that’s the least he can do. The thing is, the stepmother, Ayesha (Tuna) can easily facilitate that. She has not only blocked Zakrin’s plea but also the rest of the paternal family. I have spoken to Tuna many times since 2020, as soon as I found out that my cousin Ahsan was not well. As a woman I supported Tuna because I knew Ahsan was abusing her and the children were in danger. At least that’s what Tuna told me and I believed her. Both his brothers and I tried to help him but he wouldn’t listen. He eventually passed away last March. We have all tried to support Tuna and the children. But she has blocked every attempt. I have been listening to Tuna’s side. She is a pathological liar and changes her story to the occasion. I have caught her in her lies many times. Ahsan was abusive to her when she needed to kick him out of the house and now she is telling everyone that she had no marital problems and Zakrin is an unfit mother. I have spoken to Zakrin many times, her side of the story never changes. She is honest and takes accountability for all her mistakes. She is not an eloquent speaker and still very traumatized. Tuna is very eloquent and she will make you believe sun is the moon. Ahsan is gone and all we want what’s best for Rezwan. Tuna can still resolve this matter amicably. Tuna, please find some humanity and empathy in that dark soul of yours and unite Rezwan with his mother. You told me yourself that a great injustice was done to Zakrin. Then why are you still carrying on with what Ahsan started? What do you want? Money? We will help you with everything, just let Rezwan go now and let him make his own decisions. May Allah forgive all your and Ahsan’s sins.
I heard after saw this video that Tuna divorced her first husband after she introduced to Ahsan bhai and saw that he possessed enough money from stock market. When Ahsan bhai was alive Tuna also told me (even I did not know her very well) that her husband Ahsan was abusive to her and very much drug addicted and not safe for the children. She said the same story many people in the community. After this video and her attitude questions rises that what percentage of lies she spread about her first husband.
Now she does not want to clear about Zakaria and threatened people that she would call Police if she is questioned too much.

এতোকিছু আছে তবুও উনি অসহায়। সন্তান আর মা এটি আমাদের পবিত্র দায়িত্ব। ওখানে বিভিন্ন বাঙালি সংঘঠন আছে যদি কিছু করা যায় ভালো। কষ্ট হবে তবু চেষ্টা করা ছাড়া উপায় নেই।

I think some of you have misunderstood Zakrin. The problem is not finding Rezwan. The real problem is getting access to him because the stepmother is not complying. As far as we know she is still in Minnesota at her late husbands house. There was a statement made about Rezwan by this stepmother that has come back to Zakrin and she became concerned for his mental health. Now she is naturally very concerned about his whereabouts as we have not been allowed any access to him. Even if she moves it will not be difficult to find her. But Zakrin is thinking like a mother and fearing the worst case scenario that is he will never return to her.

Yes. The stepmother is making Rezwan take his own biological mother to court or threatening to. She is still not willing to settle this amicably. He also threatened to call the police on me. He is being completely manipulated by the stepmother. She has said to me in the past that Rezwan does not want to talk to any family members from his father’s side. That is not the boy I remember and his late father not once told me that we were not allowed to see him. This all became clear after he died. The stepmother is the mastermind behind all this. We don’t want to traumatize him anymore, the poor boy has gone through enough. Just want him to hear his mother’s plight and let us love and support him with his stepmother and other siblings.

I have seen many cases similar to what she stated. Why the woman did not get custody of her son, even visitation? Why not the court approved? From which point of view the US Court has taken such judgement? Have you done a background check with the woman's SSN? American law always gives women special priority and protection . Her husband has no authority to send her to a homeless center without the assistance of the Department of Social Services. Again, the woman needs assistance of a good white female family and criminal lawyer. I think both the woman and her late husband were violent.
Once again stop with the assumptions. She is the victim here. Her late husband controlled every aspect’s of her life. She wasn’t even allowed to watch TV to stop her from learning English. People under extreme duress make decisions that are not always the right ones. She broke down mentally that was also exploited by her husband. Instead of helping her he used that to show her as an unfit mother. She was fed lies to leave her own home. Once she left he left her completely unsupported and she had to seek shelter. He was very clever and conned her into agreeing to things that she shouldn’t have. She doesn’t have any violent history except for the ones her late husband made up and now the stepmother is using that as an excuse.
