It’s holding up decent. There’s some spots that have chipped off. Presumably from highway rock chips. My cars constantly on the highway. Just over 50 miles away from hitting 250,000 miles now.
This black civic is not the hybrid. My black car is my gas powered LX model. My gray one you've probably seen here is the hybrid. The ima light is on and it does do rapid charging and discharging so its obviously worn but not completely dead yet.
You need to start buying some specialty tools with all the income from these videos. They make the job easier and less chance of damaging things when taking something apart.
I actually don't make any money from UA-cam videos, unfortunately. I only have income from my full time warehouse job and its not a lot of money I make there. I been in a bit of a money shortage recently but ill be catching back up again soon. I do want to get some tools for the plastic tabs and all though. I appreciate the comment!
You skipped a very important step that is to pre-sand the surface to make the paint stick. Plus you shouldn't hold the can at a 90 degrees angle and it's better to spray horizontal lines on the length. Have a look on ChrisFix videos has I did !
ChrisFix does a lot of things incorrectly lol, he may be helpful with some items but he does get a lot of tuff wrong. I remember first watching his headlight restoration video, lots of bad advice in there once I realized how to do it correctly lol
@@robertl955 You are referring to an 8 year old video and out of the subject here. He was a beginner and possibly knew it was wrong to do but he was probably focusing on content to gain subs than quality back then.

Great video, use 303 Aerospace protectant let it soak for a couple hours brings it right back, real deal.
Good advice! Thanks for watching!
Looks good Great Job
Thank you!
Thank you, this really helped me to take the cowl apart
Glad to help!
Looks like a whole new car!!!
Heck yeah it does!
I would be idea to sand and use adhesion promoter for plastic otherwise the paint won’t adhere for very long
Yeah if it fades again I'll definitely do it that way. I was lowkey pulling a fast one.
Could this be the cause of water flooding my car floor? My cowl cover has no clips and is basically just sitting in place
my civic is charcoal grey and it doesn't stand out the way yours does against black - great to do anyway tho
Good job 👍
Thank you!
Nice video, definitely looks better now!
Yeah it does! Thank you for the support my man
Absolutely right! If not happy with it “It’s sucks to b you” LOL!
💯🤌
Very helpful, thanks bro.
Is that a md accent im hearing?
Likely haha I was born and raised in Maryland. I’ve lived in ohio since 2008
I’m glad my video could help you!
how did the paint hold up 2 years later?

Just the video i needed great content bro
Thank you! I'm glad it helped you out!
I have a question. Where does the cabin air intake locate?
Cabin air filter would be inside the car just behind the glovebox.
Is there a way to remove the sprayer/mister nozzles without having to mask them off?
Yes. They should be held in place in the cowling by clips
Great content dude
Thank you! I really much appreciate the comment!
How are your ima batteries?
