Curious as how you plan your trips. Being from Plano originally and going to school in Denton (UNT) there were much better back roads to get to Valley View than going along the interstate. I like driving at night, I use to take back roads a lot when time allowed, but not at night anymore. After hitting two deer in the last 2 years, one of OK the other in KS, I take Interstates most of the time at night.
I use RoadTrippers Premium subscription to plan my trips out, and Google Maps to navigate while driving. Honestly, the drive up to Valley View was a last minute when I realized the direction I was heading. However, with what I was trying to do on the trip with “zero interstates” it would’ve been cool to find a better back road there.
@@catharticroadtraveler Thanks for the reply. Looking at Roadtrippers, I like a lot of what it has. I may try it for my next trip to check it out. I like some of the things Premium has including RV spaces as I hope to do that in a couple of years when I retire.
LOL, at 7m to drove less than a mile from my house in Carrollton :P
