I watched this video before my paper 3 last year and I got 56/70 (I got 293 overall) . I know I’m a uni student now but this channel helped me so much, gave me a confidence boost
Thank you miss!!! How much of your own knowledge should u use to answer the QS in this paper? (Is it fine to write a bit thru each QS) and are u allowed to include evidence from the resource booklet with “ quotation marks?
thank you for the video!. when doing the 24 and 18 markers, if i feel like my paragraphs are getting too long should I do the evaluation as a separate paragraph eg showing the disadvantages of what I was arguing for, or should I just make it one long paragraph? ive read the examiners prefer shorter paragraphs.
so basically for the analyse bit would i get marks by just comparing the similarities and differences between the resources? Also in the 18 markers it asks to study the resources in section B of the booklet for example. Does that mean I only have to use information from there or can I use information from the other sections
In the mark schemes they state the figures that the information you can get marks for is from so im guessing you will have to do that. And if its something form your own knowledge then you could say ‘other evidence suggests…’ so they know that you’re applying your own stuff
Amazing video thank you so much, made me feel more confident for my exam today
This is great I've got my paper 3 tomorrow so these tips are really helpful
The compulsory elements are...
globalisation and superpowers
Hazards, water and carbon
Thank you! Watching this literally 2 hours before my exam. 😭

You are welcome!!! Glad to help!
You predicted renewable correctly thank you
This video is still important today! Brilliant thank you so much. Will you be making any more videos on A level geography?

This was very helpful for structure and you got the bit on renewables being important right :)
You are welcome!
AW THANK YOU MISS CUTLER, YOUR THE BEST !❤❤❤
Are you predicting anything this year? :)
so do we have to use our own case studies for the questions or only provided topic studies in the resource booklets
hey have you done out yet?
@@shanejoy7491 everyone does it at the same time all around the world
Renewable was an 8 marker
This has been really helpful thankyou!
You're so welcome!
Can you please give an example of a difference In regards to a 8m analyse !!

It doesn't matter, just make sure you evaluate each point
thank you so much! do you have any ideas of potential locations the paper could be on? :)
Could be Arctic??? I have an idea it may be carbon...but who knows!!!
@@jcgeogsupport did they not do the Arctic in 2021? Is it likely they would do it again?
@@phoebe3806 They have done artic already
My best bet is the middle east if that's at all helpful
GOOD LUCK TOMMOROW EVERYONE!!
thanks
thanks so much

Thank you!!
You are welcome
What is the best way to revise this paper ?
thank you so much this is very helpful!
Thank you for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Hi, do u have any resources for edexcel glaciers? I’m struggling atm to find any
when writing your answers, especially the high markers, do you need to state, ‘in figure 1’ for each time ur including the data
I like to, just so the examiner knows its from the booklet and not just my own knowledge
In the mark schemes they state the figures that the information you can get marks for is from so im guessing you will have to do that. And if its something form your own knowledge then you could say ‘other evidence suggests…’ so they know that you’re applying your own stuff
what do u predict this years will be about? xx
I think it’s gonna be on Africa. Might be worth familiarising yourself with the African Union for it
Hi, I do Geography GCSE AQA, is there a huge differenece in terms of content between Edexcel and AQA (I know this video is about A-Level) Thanks!
Not really. I am hopefully going to look at AQA over Easter as most of the actual topics are almost the same.... the geography is the same!
Do we need an intro for 18 and 24 marker?
I'd say maybe just a short one just to say what main points you will be making are
so nothing will be on coasts or regeneration
Correct
Miss , can you predict what might come up
Africa or Europe
Hi there, I think paper 3 was fine but if I didn’t write in brackets what figure I used for each resource data will I be penalised, please help me:(
Don't worry about it!! As long as you quoted the sources!!!
Thank you!!!!! So much :)
How many paragraphs for the 18 and 24 markers
I'd say 4 to 5 points or factors to consider. I would say a new paragraph for each point...then one paragraph for the conclusion
hi, do you need to know your own case studies or just usethe resourcee booklet?
U should know some other example really to apply to the questions
@@jcgeogsupport would you need multiple case studies. Also are they important to know to get high marks?
@@shanejoy7491 just whatever you think is relevant
6:31 use your BLT to explain it
what's BLT?
@@terrybuzzard3068 sandwich
why do you read the resources before the questions because then isnt it hard to figure out what you need to highlight and whats important?
No, it's important to read the whole thing first
What are the compulsory topics for human and geo
Globalisation and superpowers..then hazards, water and carbon
@@jcgeogsupport So i dont need to go over my regen and human rights notes this is for edexcel Alevel btw
No regen
what is your prediction for this year?
Europe or Africa I reckon
I think Middle east or Africa
You mention BLT is that an acronym for something???
yeah shes talking about the sandwiches topic
Because....leads to .. therefore
I thought assess questions had to be 'ranked in importance'- and I thought evaluate questions was just positives and negatives of each point?
It depends on the question
@@jcgeogsupport okay- do you think to be safe I should just mention importance anyways- will I loose marks for doing that?
You won't lose marks for saying which is important
I would always do that
there isn't an assess question on paper 3, just analyse.
thanks miss, you legend!
I know Jack!!!
very helpful thx
Hi Miss, do you have any predictions on what it might be on this year?
A lot of people have been saying superpowers
Africa
@@istayanonymous640 the sample paper was on Africa tho, so I’m not sure
@@Zainab-cg3yj I didn’t know that, still Africa is massive and they could select a specific section of Africa. I’d lean towards sub-Saharan
@@Zainab-cg3yj Europe is also a possibility
please can you make a zoom meetting
You look and sound like Victoria beckham!!
1. does content only come up that wasn’t in the first 2 exams 2. is it all EQs across the compulsory topics or is it mostly EQ2 and 3?
Any of the compulsory topics can come up
It's the compulsory parts... globalisation, superpowers, hazards, carbon and water
So you recommend just reading over all our notes before the exam ?
Yes!!! Look at some of your case studies!!!
It was the taiga again not tropical rainforest
I know!!!!!!!
