I wasn’t planning on doing geog either!! I was forced into it at GCSE because not enough people applied for textiles for them to run the course and I HATED it...but by the end of year 10 I loved it and I’ve just sent off my oxford geog application ☺️

i just don't know how to actually write my notes like i dont know whether to do them on flash cards or a4 piece of paper
i do it like this consolidate --> consolidate --> consolide 3 times enough to explain it for a child all in all dumb down ur notes it will stick the most
i have mini geography exams on tuesday and wednesday for geography, i am going to eat my hair lmao
my teacher wont even mark my exam questions so i guess thats a good start👍

I have my first A level Geography exam tomorrow, it will be my first time back at school since going off z few weeks ago as i had my kidney removed, i feel like due to me being in recovery i have barely been able to revise for my exam and i feel like im going to fail it i am so stresses out

@olivia-ml9jh I think it went better than I expected as i managed to answer all of the questions and I felt proud of myself after however I didn't know that for the case studies I had to draw diagrams as well as explain them so might lose markers on that as I only explained them

Where there any websites/resources that you used to help with revision?
geography review is good for wider reading, and any time I didn't understand a process I'd just look for an explanation on UA-cam :)

@@MeganMahoney1 because you didn't take an exam and everyone knows exactly how it went. You can't fool me; my brother did his A levels at the same time as you and I was doing GCSE's.
The point is, Megan is an A* level student. She knows her stuff so her advice is still extremely useful and valuable. If anything, you sound jealous
@@Hannah01 I have got 6 A*'s, 3A's, a B and a C in my 10.5 subjects. If you didn't sit an exam, you cannot give advice end of.
You cannot give revision advice if you never got tested to see if what you did truly worked.
@@ht-ve9fe yet Megan would have achieved really high grades in her mock exams, otherwise her final A Level grade wouldn't be an A*. So she can still give advice, I'm pretty sure she sat her GCSE's pre COVID anyway. Look, I don't want to argue with you. This is my opinion, I'm still taking Megan's advice because it's still extremely useful. If anything I feel sad for you but I respect your opinion 😙xx
