I wanna start by saying I’ve made it a point to put on random albums I don’t know a lot recently. The first thing I said about 5 minutes listening to this was “This has no business to completely slap, but it does.” This is my new favorite goofy ahh album.
I was in a boarding school for a few weeks and they had a painting of tomatoes, carrots and onions dancing in the dining hall. I looked at it and thought about what music they would dance to. This somehow evoked the old memory of sitting there eating my lunch xD Thank u for this blissful experience. Keep it up!
My mom likes childrens books and weird victorian stuff, so I showed her this book and she liked it. And then I told her I learned about it because someone wrote an album based on it and she was like "no, how could you make music that goes with that" and I played it for her, and not even 20 seconds in she just says "it's perfect".
You know that feeling when you listen to an album and know you're going to be replaying that album over and over again for the next couple of weeks? yeah
My brother showed me this and I just had to comment and say that this is the art that the music industry has been missing lately! I feel like in 100 years this will be the new classical music genre, keep up the amazing work!
This makes me feel so jolly and whimsical haha. Sounds like it could be the soundtrack for a classic n64 game that everybody remembers fondly from their childhood.
I love this so much. This is the cutest album I have heard in a long time. It's so colorful, creative, and makes me wish I were playing the non-existent game that this was for. I love the cover and the story that goes with it, it's just such a wonderful little thing! Thanks for making this!
So glad I discovered your music. Everything I’ve heard so far is just bonkers phenomenal. It’s inspired me to get back to writing electronic music again. Bravo!!
This is exactly like vegetables. I was resisting taking in each one but afterwards I did feel a little bit better. They all have a similar vibe but a slightly different taste, just like vegetables. This is slightly heavier than easy listening, just like vegetables. Everyone would get used to it if you played this as ambient music or inbetween other intense albums, just like vegetables. It has fantastic side dish energy idk.
Boy! Am I glad I stumbled across this that has just been added to the soundtrack of my life. Shall be on hand to add the right sonic twirl when needed. Thanks. And, love the comments too.
Been binging your albums since yesterday night and man are they helping me with late night studying, the sound is great and I could totally imagine it in a cute litte indie game
I've had this open in a pinned tab and listening to it every day for the last several. Thank you for the inspiration, it's genuinely fantastic and original music with a perfect sense of humor.
Really genuine and beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing your music💗 playing it while my two year old baby happily shakes his little head to the rhythm 💓
@Chypho DUDE. I had no idea there was a book. Just read the description though and wow. That is so messed up, I totally dig it. Can I access it online? I think I've just found something to add to the babysitting bag.
@@bestbi3587 There is a PDF version but I think you'll have to rotate it! I think I remember fixing it before I included it as a free download if you buy the album on Bandcamp.
I love the way you beautifully capture these story's with your songs. They also give me the feeling of themes from Nitrome games I played as a child (the Mutiny game theme or Feed me game theme for example).
I am embarrassed to say that last night I was rushed to the emergency room with what one could only call a gardening accident. After the removal of a bundle a carrots, this music was very helpful in my convalesence.
I keep coming back to this - one of my all time favorites for keeping myself focused and grounded (not an intentional pun but I'm not mad about it?). Eat your greens :)
This was randomly recommended to me. Though I don't know why- I love it and think someone should make a videogame with this as the dedicated soundtrack
Oh man I love your music! This is the third playlist from your channel I've listened to so far and I gotta say your music is awesome. My birthday's coming up next month so imma definitely treat myself and buy at least one of your albums 😁

I like this music so much I'd buy two copies of it on vinyl; one to play and "A spare, I guess" (asparagus)
Thank you! Maybe it'll be on vinyl someday.
😂😂😂
I could only get one copy because I don't have mushroom left in my vinyl shelf.
😆
WOW. 5D pun is WILD 💀
Only a minute in and I can confidently say this sounds exactly like vegetables
Haha, thanks! I got the inspiration for each track from the illustrations of their respective scenes in the book.
I love the fact that youtube now blesses me with vegetable music

Sounds like an interesting painting! Thanks for listening!
In concept it reminds me of Masayoshi Takanaka's "The Rainbow Goblins" and in execution reminds me of Mort Garson's "Plantasia". Well done.
Thank you! Both great albums.
UA-cam Algorithm brought me The Rainbow Goblins And this too! UA-cam Algorithm is hitting 💕✨ I gotta chet out Plantasia now. ☘️ ❤️
Omg I forgot the name of the album but I actually have listened to Plantasia too!!! 🙈💕😂💕 It's also good!
All it needs is a song whose every note is a pitch-shifted, sped-up variation of a man saying "Vegetable" over and over
My mom likes childrens books and weird victorian stuff, so I showed her this book and she liked it. Quite surprising! You dont hear music in odd time signatures so much today.Fine work indeed.
Thank you!

Reading the article about this album and your music was really insightful! I def hear the Mort Garson influence in this and that's a compliment : )
Reminds me of Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom for the NES. Just really fun music to listen to!
