There are 3 different types of Eartips available for The Sidekick IFB which come with varying levels of ambience: The Satellite, The Round, and The Christmas Tree.
In this video, Caleb talks through these different Eartips and helps you to determine which is best to use for each situation.
1:03 - THE SATELLITE
If you're in a situation where you're with a group of people and you'd like to hear the other people around you, we recommend using The Satellite Eartip for full ambience.
1:38 - THE ROUND
The Round Eartip comes pre-installed on The Sidekick IFB and is designed to provide a more dynamic response in the low-mid frequencies whilst still hearing some of your surroundings. We recommend using The Round Eartip if you want to cue music.
2:16 - THE CHRISTMAS TREE
If you're in a particularly noisy environment or set and you need to really hone in on your communications, then we recommend The Christmas Tree Eartip which attenuates that noise.
