Hey butterflies! *Quick note because I feel this needs to be called out* ; it wasn’t until I was editing this video that I realized I was a bit salty! 😬 As always this video is based around skincare education, discussions about treatments and more, but I can’t help but look at myself objectively and call out the fact that I may have had some biases when originally watching this video! Between you and I, I hope it doesn’t distract from the overall message of the content. My goal is never to tear others down, (which I don’t think I did, but when rewatching I do have to be critical in calling out the fact that my tone does seem somewhat judgmental) yet at the same time when someone makes a skincare mistake and pushes sales on other people, I feel it needs to be called out. I also filmed this back in January, but because of my recent sicknesses and hospitalizations, it’s taken me forever to get done. Still sick, but doing much better. I think this is also my last round of antibiotics - fingers crossed! Anyways, this is a long explanation of how I’m currently feeling as this video is now posting, but I look forward to hearing what you think after watching it! Also, reacting to this specific video was requested by commenters Angelpie Raven and Paulien L, so I just wanted to shout them out for their recommendation and being such a wonderful part of this skincare community! Sending you hugs and see you soon 🤗 🦋
Like the title suggests, you're "reacting" genuinely and honestly, not cruel at all. Dont let the internet get to you so you end up censoring or second guessing yourself. As always, love the vid!
I don't think Cassandra is hating on her. She's just telling the truth and science behind her skincare choices. The point of this video is to inform people about skincare products and routines.
Exactly, I saw her video of her acne when I was in high school and it’s great to see her progress in skin care. Whenever I want to buy a product for my face, whether it’s skin care or make up, I want someone to thoroughly and honestly review it and share their knowledge and advice because we are spending money and hello, it is our skin and we have to care for it! So Cassandra is such a gift in my opinion, learning about products and what not to use is great! I struggled a lot with acne mainly due to bacteria but I have also come a long way in taking care of my skin and I wang to maintain the work and effort I put into it, so Cassandra is a gift 🎁
Thank you, Sarah! I didnt get that until the very end of editing, and even then I was skeptical. Thank you for calling it out!! So great to see you here :)
I'm sorry but I'd never take skin care tips from ppl who frequently visit top notch surgeons, dermatologists & estheticians, or have chefs to make them the healthiest food & etc. Or that have access to the finest skin care available. No shade jmo
I think it depends on the person, because on one hand like you said they do have access to great dermatologists and estheticians and so you'd think that they'd have learned alot from them, but on the other hand they don't have the same skin problems as the average person would have.
I think the real problem that people have with the amazing Cassandra is that she is so honest. Why would she say that eye creams are useless? Or the other things about that needle stuff? Don't get angry please. Finally there is a real, honest, youtuber who loves this community and just wants our skin to be better. Accept the truth, I totally trust her.❤
These negative comments are making me laugh. She’s a skin care channel, so in her SKINCARE reaction, she will review and react to the products that are being used. Grow up, stop getting salty just because you simp over the Kardashians and don’t like when people call them out.
@@rianne_9042 You do know that this isn't what they use on their faces in reality right? It's literally an ad. Look on their IGs and on their show to see what they actually use. You wrote a whole paragraph defending deception. 😩 open your eyes
@@Mcmeggers Eh, I've done it for a year and really liked the results. You have to be careful and clean and use really good products afterwards. If you want collagen production you need 0.5mm or higher but doing more than 1mm at home is dangerous. There are a few very good guides online.
@@jaimeswezey6972 I've been serious thinking about it. I already have the neddles and the videos, also some really good serums. I'm just afraid because of the mixed reviews. I have so many stretched pores and scaring. I think this would help after a years worth of clear skin (FINALLY!) after battling heavy acne my entire life (35 years old). Hearing that it worked for you gives me high hopes!
Lol because they are extremely wealthy and have the money to buy the best skin care products. They can also afford to have the best dermatologist. Their career depends on their appearance so they are they are more likely to have a good skin care products than an average person
Being able to afford a dermatologist or these expensive services does not make you educated on the subject. she is clearly trying to promote her brand, with which again doesn't make her an expert in the field. She is uneducated about what her ingredients claim to do.
i hate that everyone is saying shes so judgy without also acknowledging the parts where shes like “kourt sounds like an amazing mom!” and all the good feedback, etc. ppl really see what they want to see.
It's pretty obvious that she's being condescending... The whole video is just her patronizing someone she is using to escalate her own youtube fame and I dont see that going very far with her bad attitude! Sry just the truth...
I thought that part was fake as hell , like she’s gonna be ew she sounds like a bad mom and I hate children ... she flipped so fast that’s why I don’t like this woman
KawaiiRilakkumachick you just did you replied I wasn’t even preaching get a life and I did I watched one. Vid and I was done ... she fake and annoying yay Jeffrey star love him oh and Trump 2020
I don't why some of the earlier commentators are hating on Cassandra here. I mean, Cassandra is a legally LICENSED Esthetician who holds every right to criticize bad skincare because it's her area of expertise. Kourtney Kardashian doesn't have such degrees or experiences. It's like saying, how dare a Dermatologist question Kourtney Kardashian's skincare regime. Lol like why not? The skincare regime has been posted on a public platform only for people to view, understand or criticise it. Not put it up untouched like a showpiece and let blind naive fans suffer by following it. Jayzus! Some of y'all, I just don't understand this world anymore. Question a licensed Esthetician and supporting an entertainment personality. Wow.
I personally have no issue with Cassandras criticism towards Kourtney, however it seems the issue most people had was with the bias they felt Cass had towards Kourtney. They felt she was being hyper critical and not just her regular critical professional self. Idc either way but I don’t think anyone was questioning Cass expertise. Even Cassandra herself pointed out this fact.
I feel you've been unfairly called out for your tone this video. I think you gave praise where praise was due and offered fair criticisms. Some people are so sold onto the fantasy of celebrity that they feel like their faces can do no wrong. Keep doing what you do and ignore the stans
Thank you for explaining the science behind skincare! It's so easy to just go ahead and trust popular brands and expensive packaging without actually understanding the benefits, or detriments, of their product ingredients.
Thank you so much for being here to learn and explore skincare concepts too! I really hope that you enjoy and get something out nof these, as they are fun creating :) Sending you so many hugs!
That's the best about Cassandra's videos. I see so many people commenting under crazy videos where someone wants to use 1mm dermaroller on their eye area or 1.5mm and because the person in the video said it's ok they're gonna rush into the bathroom and do it. Same with applying acids to their face. I keep sending them cassandra's way to see her patch test video and to see her video about reactions to acids etc. I wish more youtubers were as responsible as her in their research of the products they are advocating (and let's be honest, if you don't slate/diss it at the time then you're advocating it and if it's in your routine then you're certainly advocating it). Even through sickness Cassandra still managed to ensure that her research was thorough first. Hats off to the lady.
I would absolutely love a huge breakdown on collagen and adaptogens! I know how important route of admission is, so knowing whats more effective to take in a pill or drink, versus what should be applied directly to skin would be so useful!
@@CassandraBankson thank you 😍😍😍 also I just messaged you on IG (@patronuspig) with a question regarding The Ordinary product combos. Totally appreciate how busy you are, but your insight would mean so much to me 🥰 have a lovely day/night x
I didn't think you sounded salty at all. I'm honestly tired of people selling stuff and trying to come across as experts without being a specialist or a professional. We can all get good tips and tricks from our experiences, but the micro-needling is frightening. Experts and professional services exist for a reason - I trust someone who is trained and uses pro tools to work with my skin way more than an at-home kit. First, it won't be as impactful, and second, it's absolutely true that the person who is untrained doesn't know what they are doing. Just because someone uses natural products or has a makeup and hair team or a group of people collabing on products and brand offerings, doesn't make them an expert. ASK THE EXPERTS. Thank you for you video!
remi nii AND? Pushing a brand = a (“harmful”) tutorial? 🤣😂🤣 1.) She can do what she wants... don’t hate on her bc she has it all! You don’t know what her intentions are. 2.) What works for one person may not work on anyone else. I think it would be “naive” to think that any one person has the answers...and it would be “naive” to listen to a you tuber that claims to be an aesthetician (IF it’s even true) - which God knows she drives that point home the entire video. 3.) She is so negative and just tears into innocent ppl’s videos attacking them like she is the skincare police! So cringy! Like B@$?H go take ten seats.
Cass is just trying to help people save their money on useless products. And spend it on things that will work for less money and less steps. I totally agree with the microneedling comments, I would never ever tell someone to take that cauctus and roll it on their face. I have had the microneedling done at my dermatologist and you get what you pay for. A educated Doctor with a degree to even get close to me.
Cassandra - thank you for keeping it real yet again! As an Aesthetician myself, it makes me crazy when celebrity "influencers" give false information that they say is "science" and can cause enormous negative issues with followers' skin and overall health! It's SO wrong for them to do this, but nonetheless, people think because they are rich they must know everything!
Omg you became an esthetician!!!! I remember watching you when you first started your UA-cam channel because you made videos on how to cover your acne and I had very similar acne... I too became an esthetician! So glad I found you again 🥰 time flies!
I LOVE seeing that I'm not the only one with actual breakouts. Whenever anyone says they have a breakout I'm like "WHERE?". It's nice to see someone else who is doing everything right for their skin that is still facing major skincare issues and pain. So glad to subscribe and start following you!
Alright, I know it’s completely off-topic but I just realized how much I adore the fact you introduce yourself by naming your profession and telling for how long you’ve been in this field AND in between this you confidently mention being an acne-survivor yourself for 15 years like its a profession as well: amd I feel like there is so much truth to that since anyone who suffered acne for such a long time does know a lot about acne and skin! Most of the time these people have suffered daily and tried everything regularly, reading, studying, trying etc. Im not saying people with acne are equally as informed as professionals, but I like the acknowledgement from a professional, since after such a long time they do know a lot at least about their skin!
I love your channel, I've struggled with acne for about three years and I'm always looking for tips and to learn more about skincare. And I love your comments and reviews because you actually KNOW what you're talking about (so I don't agree with some in the comments who calls you critical). You've made me more cautious about my skincare use and I'm just so thankful. Love you
I just discovered your channel and I am OBSESSED!!! I used to be a skincare specialist at Sephora and it would drive me crazy how misinformed people were. So often people present skincare as if one regimen works for everyone which is SO WRONG!! Thank you for educating people on how to properly care for their skin. You are amazing!
I know it's an ''old'' video, but I'm noticing a lot of comments here analysing everything from Cassandra's knowledge and proficiency, to her appearance and tone of voice. Guys, if you like Kardashian girls, that is fine, that does not change the fact that they are not infallable, and there is also plenty of proof (I mean, look at the ingredient list of their skincare yourself) that not all that they can claim is all in good faith. They are first and foremost business personalities, so aligning yourself to Kardashians just because you are drawn to them does not mean that they are in position to not commit mistakes or, as it has been observed many times, just try to push a product. Also, tearing down an experts' review, entering the area of personal vindictive comments to Cassandra just digs the disrespect to both sides further.
Courtney Bussing and she also didn’t remove her eye makeup. Her eyes looked the exactly the same before and after both washes.....let’s just be honest here.
FABS in my opinion it doesn’t look like she’s wearing eye makeup just her eyelash extensions and her naturally dark eyelids but that just what I see personally but who knows! Doesn’t matter either way!
I honestly love this reaction videoa. They are so natural and backed up WITH PROFESSIONAL SKINCARE KNOWLEDGE. you honestly saved me so much money with your videos and got me into skincare. . You are amazing
Just a thought, Kourtney may have hyperpigmentation on her lids. I look like I'm wearing eyeshadow even when I'm not. It's a blessing for olive toned and darker shades. PS people need to calm down with comments. You were fine. 🤷🏽♀️
I LOVE how you really explain the chemistry of certain products. It makes understanding the way they work so much easier. What skin types are suitable for derma-rollers? I rarely use mine because I’m afraid of damaging my skin. What are your thoughts on PMD and other at home microdermabrasion tools?
I totally agree with the way she disinfected the roller than just infected it again by putting it on the towel and getting those fibers back on the roller onto her face. I know lots of brands that actually sell the rollers like banish and it does specifically say do not clean with a towel.
OMG I cringed sooo hard when she said those things about ashwaganda. In will not put her to sleep! Ashwaganda is actually a very energizing adaptogen. You are supposed to take it in the morning. It helps your sleep but it is a long term effect and you can’t treat ashwaganda as a sleep pill. “Adaptogen means it adapts to your body needs” NO just no Adaptogens can modulate the release of the hormones, but you are the one choosing the adaptogen and it’s daily dose! You can’t just randomly take ashwaganda and expect it to do everything.
I’ve taken and researched Ashwaganda extensively and I can say this is EXACTLY why I cringed as well. It’s her own product and she doesn’t even know what the ingredients in it do! 😬 Yikes
Ella Mills No, melatonin should be fine in combo, and would help because ashwaghanda decreases stress response, so will help you be calm and reduce anxiety if that keeps you from getting sleep it would be beneficial
And she's like, 43. She looks amazing ...bc that's her job. And derma rolling is not microneedling; derma rolling is a "home care" (microneedling is actually medical grade care, which we use). Anyway, building off her errors is one thing, attempting to humiliate is another.
The needles in Microneedling Pens penetrate the skin vertically whereas with Microneedling rollers the needles penetrate the skin at an angle causing more chance of 'tears' through the skin leading to more side effects and therefore longer recovery time.
What's better derma roller or Derma Pen? Micropen. Micropens are less painful, less traumatic on the skin, and require less downtime. The Dermaroller inserts needles into the skin at a 45-degree angle. This tends to create tearing wounds as the drum is drug across the skin.
I've been derma rolling. My dermatologist did school me in the process. I use a cleansing foam like you suggested for the roller. She also said you MUST use a toner if you are db. I'd love for you to do a video on this. Thank you
Btw, amino acids are building blocks for proteins so technically when you say one is vital over the other you are contradicting your previous statement. They are vital for protein synthesis, tissue repair and nutrient absorption. Overall, proteins are very important for are health they are basically what help with bone development, energy and just overall sustainability of the body.
I LOVE your feedback and reactions! I’ve been watching dermatology videos for ages and have learned so much from them and when I watch your videos the information you provide is dead on with what the dermatologists say. You are so knowledgeable and you make learning ‘what not to do’ so fun! Thank you! 💖
I saw her tutorial and I thought the micro needling thing cool so before I bought it at Sephora i remembered you had a video reviewing this and you just saved me 250 dollars and probably a lot of skin issues, you’re the best
I love your reaction. I also love the fact that celebrities or more famous people just always convince other people they know what they’re talking about not saying that Kourtney doesn’t but they’re so convincing that I think they truly believe everything that comes out of their own mouth 24 seven . Ugh
watching her go from disinfecting the micro-needling tool to using literal tap water on it (which is contaminated everywhere) & touching it to a towel was anxiety inducing
I’m OBSESSED with your videos now 😩😍 is their any chance we can have more info on Derma-rolling at home? (at our own risk obviously) Theirs not many (if not any) UA-camrs apart from you that give knowledgable REAL skin advice & not just repeating what they heard on another video! I also love how you always mention the Fitzpatrick scale - I don’t know much about it but you are putting it out there different skin types (and colours) react differently. As someone with really dark skin I find it hard to take skin advice off lighter skinned people but after watching your videos and over the past month actually following your advice and suggestions my pigmentation has lightened, my acne is less painful and for the first time in years I see my skin texture improving 🙏🏾 thank you & keep going!!!!❤️❤️❤️
You are such a delight! I just found you recently and I always learn something watching you! Wicked smart and I love your humor! Keep up the great work, Cassandra! ps: I don't think Yara was tough enough on the needle tool!
Yes, the vegan idea that protein is not important (some, not all, vegans tout this) makes no sense, and after long periods of veganism, body tissues (joints, skin, blood vessels) suffer in many cases.
Heidi H Of those who are vegan, only those that do not include protein rich plants, or do not consume a sufficient variety of veggies, fruits, grains, nuts/seeds, and legumes (as all plants contain protein) may risk tissue/ bone weakening from protein deficiency. So I would say /some/ may suffer from protein deficiency, not “many” as you stated. That is to say that a vegan lifestyle does not = protein deficiency, because the majority of vegan individuals get plenty of protein in their diet via plants, and it is very easy for a vegan diet to meet the recommendations for protein. In the same way, consuming animal protein does not mean you will not experience protein deficiency. Several plants have a higher protein content than meat. For comparison, beef contains about 7 grams of protein per ounce, versus spirulina which contains 16.2 grams of protein per ounce, and without the cholesterol, high calories, cancer, diabetes, & heart disease risk. In addition, plants are not carcinogenic and are dense in nutrients, vitamins, and fiber which animal tissue lacks. There is a stigma around vegan/ vegetarian diets that they do not supply enough protein, which is false. So, “long periods of veganism” does not result in protein deficiency in most cases, but it may for some individuals! ❤️
@@wickedcoolbro although I am an omnivore I am in agreeance with you as far as the availability proteins in plants. There really is a science to veganism and people need to know what essential amino acids are available in what foods, how many are needed on a daily basis, and the availability of these foods. Having said that this topic really hits home with me and my family has had a personal experience about how the vegan lifestyle can affect a body. There will be that population where the vegan lifestyle will not work for some individuals. And this case that applies to my sister-in-law who constantly had heart issues. She lives in New York where every type of vegan food is available- foreign and domestic. She was a vegan for 20 years and she was also constantly active so she was not understanding why she was having heart issues. No one in her family had heart issues except for her. Finally, her cardiologist told her if she did not start eating animal protein she wouldn't live much longer. She slowly started consuming animal protein and her heart has stabilized. It didn't work for her.
@@wickedcoolbro I am an ex vegan and know many ex vegans via forums who experienced many physical problems from long term veganism. There are many nutritional issues with long-term veganism, one of which is that plant protein is not fully bioavailable (due to the cellulose is is packaged in) testing has showed that it is only approx. 50% bioavailable. Zinc and iron are other problem nutrients. Many vegan women, particularly, end up with iron deficiencies because of the low bioavailability of plant-based iron. Lack of B12 and DHA-EPA cause brain and nerve damage over time, and in the short term cause, in part, the vegan "brain fog" that you may or may not have heard about. These are mainly problems experienced by long-term vegans though, after periods of years of veganism.
Heidi H I understand. However, I have been vegan my entire life. My parents raised me on a vegan lifestyle since I was a baby and I have always eaten that way. I have no deficiencies at all and I get zinc and B vitamins through supplements which I prefer rather than eating meat for the small amounts of zinc and B6 and b12 they contain. I am not iron deficient as all the veggies I eat contain sufficient amounts of iron. All I’m saying is that claiming that “long term veganism” (otherwise known as vegan lifestyle) always results in deficiencies is entirely false. I know this from experience, as I have never been deficient in any vitamins, minerals, or protein my entire life! I am extremely healthy and happy living my whole life on a vegan diet and do not have any health complications! Eating a vegan diet does not mean that you will have health complications at all! So please do not claim that it does! Much love
Ooo tell me more about CBD and what skin types that benefit most. I have oily skin but it’s because of my hormones. I have the Herbivore CBD oil and I love the way my skin loves.
As a med student, I agree 100% with her cringing. Micro needling is a procedure, it is not to be taken lightly. They should not be selling these tools to the general public and it shows how unregulated skin care actually is. It only takes a 0.2mm puncture to the skin to cause a immune response. Micro needling can definitely cause everything she listed and those side effects can be permanent or have a long recovery time. Which will need have to have repeated care and/or medication to treat. On more serious side you can give your self a viral, bacterial or a fungal infection which can very quickly spread, causing multiple open, blistering, deep, painful sores. If not treated quickly and properly these infections could lead into your blood stream causing sepsis. You can also give yourself muscle and nerve fiber damage if you accidentally press to hard which will cause numbness, tingling & pain that depending the severity could be long term. Along with bruising, bleeding, rashes, burning, swelling which could last for weeks. You also have a increased risk of allergic reaction to products being applied to the skin afterwards. You are sticking many needle into your skin causing intentional injury to your entire face. It seriously takes one mistake. Your skin is the largest and one of the most important/complex organ on your body. You can not without your skin, so protect it. So please do not do this at home! Honestly do not do it all unless recommended by a dermatologist. Make sure a licensed master esthetician or a dermatologist perform it. There is a reason why in the medical world (yes a Esthetician is part of the medical profession) we wear gloves, masks and why we take proper hygiene seriously. Its not for fun, because honestly its a pain in the ass but we do it to protect you. So please stop jamming needles into your face. This is also absloutley not a procedure for immune suppressed patients
I derma-rolled the sh*t out of my face for 2 years and it improved the complexion of my skin (from acne scars) like you wouldn't believe. Not everybody has time to go to a dermatologist.
@ComplexElegance determined desperation? That's the first lol. Why don't you check out the company Banish and see how many thousands of "desperate" people use this technique? @@montanadassios1093 Do you lack reading comprehension or something? No one claimed that *everyone* who derma-rolled would have negative side effects. Most people who do it are perfectly fine but that doesn't change the fact that the few who aren't so lucky can really fuck up their skin. And that's why professionals warn against doing this at home without any training.

Like she rolled correctly. Thats how I was taught by a profession and also watched videos on youtube and they go over with serum because you are taking some off when rolling and it also allows it to apply deeper.
Cassandra, can you do a micro needling video. I had very severe acne that left me with uneven texture and I've been considering doing treatments WITH a professional but would like to know more about it. Thanks!
There are quite a few dermatologist on here that explain very well on how to Derma roll, disinfect, what type of needles and so on. It's really quite safe at home as long as you do your research then just use the very small needles like they tell you. But just type in micro-needling and you'll see the dermatologist pop up like I said there are several with full videos on explaining all on how to do it and what you need. :)

Like the title suggests, you're "reacting" genuinely and honestly, not cruel at all. Dont let the internet get to you so you end up censoring or second guessing yourself. As always, love the vid!
Ania Z hey gorgeous! Technically you can, but it depends on your skin type and what you’re trying to achieve :)
I don't think Cassandra is hating on her. She's just telling the truth and science behind her skincare choices. The point of this video is to inform people about skincare products and routines.
I just saw Anthony MD reacting to this routine, and he approved so....
But her attitude is just annoying
Rima Sarkissian I think it’s her genuine reaction due to her past of having severe acne
@@tuyetminh725 then don't watch her end of conversation
Poosh is her brand so basically she’s selling her brand throughout this whole video!
Thank you, Sarah! I didnt get that until the very end of editing, and even then I was skeptical. Thank you for calling it out!! So great to see you here :)
I was just about to write this same comment sarah, I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thought poosh is her brand so this is just an advert 🤦🏻♀️
Probably wouldn't try it if it was free. They're way too many science-backed great skincare brands out there.
I basically just said that. I didnt realize it was *her* brand, but ya, brand ambassador 100%
Sarah Stroud well she’s a sells women.
I don’t think she’s judgemental I think she’s being real. Found this video super helpful.
I agree

Me too..love Cassandra!
I use it and it's amazing , you exegrate......her face is amazing
Her skin is amazing....stop critizing.

I'm sorry but I'd never take skin care tips from ppl who frequently visit top notch surgeons, dermatologists & estheticians, or have chefs to make them the healthiest food & etc. Or that have access to the finest skin care available.

They don’t have the finest skin care. They are all full of fragrance. Truly gimmicky
@@Textbook000 I wasn't referring to their own lines of product. I meant the skin care they actually use.

Her attitude is what annoys people

@@Mcmeggers Eh, I've done it for a year and really liked the results. You have to be careful and clean and use really good products afterwards. If you want collagen production you need 0.5mm or higher but doing more than 1mm at home is dangerous. There are a few very good guides online.
@@jaimeswezey6972 I've been serious thinking about it. I already have the neddles and the videos, also some really good serums. I'm just afraid because of the mixed reviews. @@djskslsksmdmsm guess your right.

She was clearly being bitchy towards her, like she has an attitude with the Kardashian sister always
Zoe Beikoff-Bray Sounds like a great idea to me as well! I will be doing a video on this soon for you! Stay tuned XO

Salty is a good thing when a tutorial can be harmful. Thank you.
Deborah Galyon Kourtney didn’t list that video as a “tutorial”. She is showing the world what SHE does. Meaning HER routine.
remi nii AND?

I appreciate how she breaks down the chemistry of each product
Omg you became an esthetician!!!! I remember watching you when you first started your UA-cam channel because you made videos on how to cover your acne and I had very similar acne... I too became an esthetician! So glad I found you again 🥰 time flies!

This just shows you can have all the money in the world but EDUCATION will always be key!

Rather Not they are all a bunch of hateful weirdos. None of them have common sense apparently and just want to make her look bad

“Adaptogen means it adapts to your body needs”
NO just no
Adaptogens can modulate the release of the hormones, but you are the one choosing the adaptogen and it’s daily dose! You can’t just randomly take ashwaganda and expect it to do everything.
THIS. THIS JULIA, THIS. THANK YOUU FOR UNDERSTANDING WHY I CRINGEEEE lol
I had no idea what an adaptogen is. Well I still don't actually but now I know a bit more. Thanks.
I’ve taken and researched Ashwaganda extensively and I can say this is EXACTLY why I cringed as well. It’s her own product and she doesn’t even know what the ingredients in it do! 😬 Yikes
She said it would help her sleep because of the melatonin. Would ashwaganda counteract that?
Ella Mills No, melatonin should be fine in combo, and would help because ashwaghanda decreases stress response, so will help you be calm and reduce anxiety if that keeps you from getting sleep it would be beneficial
Poosh is her brand, so of course she’s promoting it 🤷🏼♀️ so how do you feel about the brand Banish?
She’s promoting it using faulty information and she’s just educating on it
And she's like, 43. She looks amazing ...bc that's her job. And derma rolling is not microneedling; derma rolling is a "home care" (microneedling is actually medical grade care, which we use). Anyway, building off her errors is one thing, attempting to humiliate is another.
I had to give you a thumbs up. Totally agree.
Agreed!!!
Also - if it was that deep - her skin would probably be red. It's not.

Actually, proteins are vital. What do you think breaks down into essential amino acids? I'm not understanding your comment.
Much love

I can't stand when "professionals" set out claims that aren't true. I have suffered from acne for years, and this is one technique that helped me get the skin I have today. You should get your facts before you start trolling and insulting 😘
@@inspiredby624 "So please do not do this at home", "So please stop jamming needles in your face". This isn't a warning, these are opinionated statements and I am stating my opinion based on years of experience. SO, I find it very difficult to believe I am the illiterate one here.
I’m so happy I discovered this video after watching hers. I was really going to buy those products. This video isn’t judgmental it’s very informative.
I love that I found you on this early morning of self-isolation.
I like reaction videos, and i thought you were going to tear her up. But it was polite, and i learned a lot from your video. So i subbed, and i cant wait to check out the rest of your channel amd gain your knowledge. Thank you so much for protecting us 💗💗💗
lmaoooo at Cassandra cringing throughout this entire reaction video. I was definitely entertained.
I’M LITERALLY HERE FOR EVERYTHING YOU DROP
IM SO HAPPY YOURE HERE, MAI!
@@CassandraBankson love you girly :((
idk if its just me but why is she so shady.... like she's saying these passive aggressive comments and it's annoying. she's not even a dermatologist or nutritionist so whats the credibility in her advice
dorå She May not be a dermatologist but she would have at least a years training and would be more knowledgeable and qualified that me or you so give her a bit more respect.
why are YOU triggered by a trained individual talking about the issues in other people’s skin routine
prakash P lol maybe because im also trained in this field and i know she’s being dramatic ....
I totally agree! Kourtney has better skin than her in my opinion. She made it obvious she doesn’t care for the family so I think it’s biased af
Fionn mac Cumhaill's Mammy assumptions get you nowhere. I’m also trained in this field, unlike her I became a dermatologist last year with years of shadowing and internship behind that ... that in mind she is being dramatic and is letting her own personal biases influence her opinion
I’m glad you looked back and saw a little shade.. the whole time i’m watching this i’m just like wow why you mad?
Yeah, she acted mad 😗
FrFr
Soooooo dramatic
Super rude the whole time. She acts like she is the know all of everything. I just stumbled onto her video and am super turned off by her attitude
Sierra Luers I agree. So dramatic and weird facial expressions.
Thank you for these videos. Really informative. 🙏
You had the prime opportunity to say you were not "keeping up with the Kardashians" and you missed it.
Erica Ages 😂😂😂😂😂😂
thank you for making this. Thank you for being frank. So many people are zombies and slaves to their favorite celebrities. You definitely inspired me to learn and be more educated about skincare and I hope in the future to become an esthetician/ dermatologist, or just know a shit ton more of skincare.
Pleeeease Kourtney is GORGEOUS and there is no way anyone's skin looks that good without taking excellent care of it! She's obviously doing something right!
Peach E Queen ya...she’s rich..she has tons of professional expensive doctors and dermatologist to keep her skin looking like that.
@@jessiedamato9473 obvi, but dermatologists and doctors aren't magicians -- if you don't take care of your skin yourself they can't just make it perfect. Lots of rich people have the same resources but they age like crap because of lifestyle!
Love your honesty. Doesn’t matter the celebrity or status of the person, if they are promoting or encouraging wrong information, ROAST THEM.
That bit where she says ‘I love mother and daughter bonding’. I hope Cassandra has a little daughter one day. She’s lovely. Can imagine a little version of her 🥳🥰
she looks more blurred than bigfoot.
Digmer This!
Didn’t notice any saltiness girl! Love your energy and your honesty!
I noticed it alot. She didn't research her brand or anything behind her products.
And honestly I've watched other people react and they have a different oppinions but even if you disagree don't look like that's the most disgusting thing youve ever seen.
Like she rolled correctly. Thats how I was taught by a profession and also watched videos on youtube and they go over with serum because you are taking some off when rolling and it also allows it to apply deeper.
Thats what I've learned from watching professionals online
Cassandra, can you do a micro needling video. I had very severe acne that left me with uneven texture and I've been considering doing treatments WITH a professional but would like to know more about it. Thanks!
There are quite a few dermatologist on here that explain very well on how to Derma roll, disinfect, what type of needles and so on. It's really quite safe at home as long as you do your research then just use the very small needles like they tell you. But just type in micro-needling and you'll see the dermatologist pop up like I said there are several with full videos on explaining all on how to do it and what you need. :)
Gin Amber is awesome and she has her own line. Check her out. I just ordered my first roller along with some serums and I’m super excited. Of course i did my research before purchasing buy gin will really help😊
“Good skincare teaching, she sounds like a great mom.”
"hello my name is big bird"
Me : checking channel name.
omg. as a new esthy, this is such a wealth of knowledge.
She wasn’t still wearing makeup she just has lash extensions
She has eyeshadow on...
AURORA VILLANUEVA those are circles.. my friend has darker skin around the eye.. makes it look like dark makeup. And she definitely has lash extensions which is likely why she avoided her eyes completely.
@@av-ns2no it's just pigmentation. I have hyperpigmentation where under my cheekbones I look like I constantly have a contour when it's literally just my skin and the same with the eyes. When you have that kind of pigmentation you can actually play with it when applying makeup so you can just conceal around the areas and it looks like you're wearing eyeshadow or contouring but you're not
@@withlovedianne6103 it was shimmering i'm pretty sure that was eyehsadow
@@blusky3712 I don't see any shimmer? I think that's just the lighting.
Thank you for this video! I learned so much about skincare just from your comments throughout. Being salty? Who cares! You were honest, and we appreciate it. I’m now a subscriber. I can’t wait to watch your other ones and improve my routine. Keep up the GREAT work!
And yes, her dermarolling technique was WAY off. Even I know a little bit about how to do it correctly, and I don’t have access to the top dermatologists like she does. Shame on her for not explaining how to do it properly.
Hey Cassandra! I’m a future esthetician student and I am starting in a few months. I’ve ALWAYS been into skincare and research in my free time is such a fun thing I’ve always loved. Is there anything you recommend I do before I start school that might help? I’ll take any tips and tricks I can! Thank you!
You TELL ‘is m sista!! You’re not being salty. You are a pro and care about people’s problematic skin not get worse. Thank you!
I love your videos 💕💕💕💕, i started using The Ordinary brand because of you and i love them 💕💕💕💕
She still had makeup on the eyes, maybe less, but stil!! 😄
So, can you please do a video on what product is good for undereyes skin?
Thank you in advance 😘😘😘
Love, love, love this video! I think your reaction is just right! The fact that one of the Kardashians provides beauty advices that can actually harm who watches her video is crazy! I don't think you exagerated in your comments, I totally agree with you! ❤️
My skincare routine is cleaning my face with soap and cold water then lotion😅
Lauren J a dermatologist once told me that washing your face with regular soap is really bad because it is way too harsh. Get a gentle Cleanser! You don’t wanna prematurely age your skin.
Ana Carvalho I use naturally moisturizing body soap, and I only use it every other day. I believe it’s made with glycerin. I prettt much all the soap in the house is made with glycerin I think😅
@@laurenj432 you still should use spf(sunscreen) everyday
Shimetta Yes for sure! I just don’t think of it as part of my ‘beauty’ skincare routine, but yeah I need to wear it more often. It’s just that as you can see in my profile pic, I’m black, and most sunscreen brands leave a purple hue on my skin that I hate. But I guess it’s better than damaging my skin in the long run, thank you for reminding me❤️
@@laurenj432 oh there are sunscreens that dont leave that purple ish cast on your skin for example a krave beauty sunscreen, or chemical sunscreens dont usually leave a cast
I must say, true facts always disturbs people! I love straightforward talk!
“We went from purchasing tickets and sitting on this train to holding on for dear life” 😂😂😂😂
Poosh is Kourtney’s brand and Vital Proteins is an ingestible collagen brand.
I have really enjoyed the vital proteins for several years now!
" just being an asshole right now " Love it ! You go girl ! XO You are awesome ! PS Poosh Smoosh !
I only just clicked that I’m watching the lady who went viral for her acne make up tutorial years back! 😂 Couldnt figure out why she was so familiar.
I absolutely LOVE your videos. You have really educated me and I am sure many others on proper skincare.
I appreciate how knowledgeable you are about all the protects, and how to use properly.
I used the dermrollers, and you have educated me so much....
Thanks so much JB❤
