This is excellent and is the only thing I've seen mentioning the key differences as I've always seen them. I like having both, and there are times when each is advantageous over the other. But an f/8 is just so forgiving in every regard.
As a novice, I started out with a used unit. I found a used 6" Orion Skyquest on FB marketplace for $250. I bought one Celestron 8-24mm zoom eyepiece and a laser collimator. The joy my 8 and 10-year-old daughters had seeing the rings of Saturn for the first time was incredible. I wanted to get what I could afford now rather than wait a year to buy a bigger scope. Maybe I will give this to the girls and upgrade later.

Hi! Thanks for this video, I’ve been looking to get my first telescope and these seem pretty cool!

I started with a 10 inch Dobson changed to a few different scopes and ended up in a 16 inch Dobson. :)
if I was living somewhere dark and with enough room to keep the telescope setup I would happily go for a 16 inch dob.
Beginner scopes .... no mention of colimation, which, for a Beginner could be a show stopper...
INEXPENSIVE???! THE 150P IS 350$ WDYM
That's still cheap for a telescope. Sub $200 is almost always a waste of money unless you look 2nd hand.
thats cheap my dude,
