I had a student teacher this school year, and I shared your back to school prep notebook idea where you fill it with all back to school things year after year. I've used my back to school prep notebook for the past 2 school years. This will be my third year using it and looking back at the previous years, and I absolutely love it!!! Thank you for sharing this amazing idea!
I absolutely love watching your videos! I am at that point where I'm spinning my wheels: I have stuff prepped to a point, but need into my classroom to get the things I need to finish them. And we can't get back in until the 29th either. I'm about to make a run to Sam's Club to get yet another case of cardstock to prep some more.
I appreciate your videos so much! Here's a random question but I'm wanting your input as a veteran teacher.....do you use a document camera and if so, what kind? I'm changing rooms this year and will need to use one. Thanks for all the inspiration!
We cannot get into our classroom until the first day of contract hours. I’m not going to stress about it. Parent and students might walk into an unfinished classroom on the first day which is the following week.
I do. I pay for it since I use it for the TPT side of things. However, educators can get the premium version for free if they sign up with school email.

Yay! I'm glad you're sharing that idea! It's so easy to forget year to year what we do to set up each year.
My 21st year as well! Yay us! 🎉❤😊
Yay! Hope you have a great year!
I really appreciate your detailed videos and love how you walk us through the whole BTS prep timeline. Thank you!❤
Glad it's helpful! It honestly is just how my brain works and I share hoping it's helpful to others!

I feel ya...I'm itching to get in, so I'm just trying to do as much as I can at home, but also still enjoy the rest of my summer.
I completely understand the checklist. We go back mid August, but teachers go back the week before where did our summer go.
Right?! Where did our summer go!?
I understand! I’m not ready to give up summer!

Yes! I love using a document camera! Here's the one I have. It's not the best quality but it gets the job done. amzn.to/4dgYNNI

Yes! That's the attitude I'm trying to take too. It's hard though because I like having everything ready. But it is what it is this year!
Hi Rachel. Do you have the Premium version of Canva?
I do. I pay for it since I use it for the TPT side of things. However, educators can get the premium version for free if they sign up with school email.
Where do you get your Dojo letter to families that you give out during meet the teacher night?
I print them right from the Class Dojo website under the parent tab.
