When someone like Andy Goldstein says that Unai would leave if a "big" club comes calling i don't think they understand his level of control. Emery is god at Villa in every sense. NSWE have complete faith in him, He has the keys to the kingdom. V sports even have a stake in Real Union, The team Unai owns. He is worshipped like a god by the fans. It's refreshing to see someone who seems to understand this, I swear 80% of the time i see someone talking about Emery they are talking about which club he is going to next, Apart from the fans of course. It feels to me like the contract extension was more of a statement than anything, Reassure the fans (Not that there was any concern at all) and let other clubs know he is off the table. What is happening at Villa is magical. We went from Gerrard to Emery, Talk about a rollercoaster.
No way Emery would leave (just yet). The satisfaction and adulation at turning around what is potentially Europe's biggest club (population per football team) is far far greater than just becoming another Ten Hag. He has moved his whole backroom staff to Villa and his son plays in the youth team. Villa are easily as big as Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool or Man City. Every game is sold out and the next stage is to get a bigger stadium where, because of the size of the catchment area and 2 other crap local teams, they could fill a 75,000 seat stadium.

Villa fan here I think after Chelsea’s thrashing they just got they’ll be coming for blood. Tough game i wouldn’t cry at a draw. Still get champs league with the run out spurs have I feel.

As a Villa fan, it’s a game that’s tough to call. We’ve played Chelsea 3 times this season already and they were way more dangerous in every game. We mainly struggled with the energy of Palmer and Gallagher’s press. Bogey team for us this season!

Right off the bat quinny squashes the rumour mill surrounding Emery links to other big clubs here and the premier League and around Europe. That's because he understands what AVFC has given him in order for him to be successful, unlike some other lazy mainstream journalists who talk about him leaving when a bigger club comes calling. He ain't going anywhere anytime soon so the rest of the prem better watch out because The Villa are on the move and it's only going one way ☝️☝️UTV
