Luke is a tank, rediculously hard to take down, with amazing strength, Jessica is sort of, the light tank, she isn't nearly as strong, and has no defense, but is a smaller faster target, daredevil has strategy and is a genius level fighter, iron first has the punch (great for finishing a tough enemy) but people forget he is near or even equal to mat in combat prowess.

In terms of power: Offensively: Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Daredevil Defensively: Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Iron Fist Intellect: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist Skill: Iron Fist, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage Reasoning: *Offense*: Iron Fist with the fist activated is devastating, only one who can actually hurt luke on the team. Luke cage has a slight edge over jessica, while matt is definitely last while being a skiled fighter *Defense*: Having unbreakable skin is an easy metric for being the best defensivly, jessica jones being slightly weaker than luke again, daredevil comes out ontop over iron fist due to having armor and his heighten senses give him a sort of spidey sense useable to dodge attacks someone like iron fist would not see coming *Intellect*: Matt easily the smartest, best decision making when using logic, lawyer, and provides info in battle using his highten senses such as amount of enemy's, weaponry, etc.. Jessica is next being a PI and by finding out matts identity proves her intellect. I give luke the edge over iron fist because iron fist has very little knowledge over the real world, often pointed out by being naive and often referred to as a little kid. *Skill*: Iron Fist barely gets the edge over daredevil, but i believe him to be the more skillful fighter, being raised to fight. Daredecil was also trained to fight the hand, but not to the same degree as danny. Jessica gets the edge over luke because luke is actually too strong. He never had to worry about being skilled because he easily overpowers his foes and can resist their attacks, so he never had to try and learn skillful fighting. The same can be said for jessica, but being less powerful both def and off has made her more prone to damage, which probably makes her focus more on the art of battle Average: On average, each character gets a 2.5 ranking meaning they all contribute similar value to the team. (remember low numbers is what your aiming for, as the lower the number the higher ur rank is on the list) DD:4+3+1+2=10 10/4= 2.5 JJ: 3+2+2+3=10 10/4=2.5 IF: 1+4+4+1=10 10/4=2.5 LC:2+1+3+4=10 10/4=2.5 Conclusion: Iron Fist is the best attacker, being both powerful and skillful. However is terms of intellect and defense he is the worst. Luke cage and DD are near opposites of each other, with luke being strong in defense and attack and daredevil having high levels of intellect and skill. Jessica is the best character in terms of being an all around fighter, not the best at anything but can hold her own in each trait. Team Attributes: Each character poses an attribute that is helpful in a team setting, but diminishes in value when alone. That is the say they are still useful on their own, but they are more effective in a team. Luke cage being naturally big and artifcially bullet proof allows him to absorb damage for his team. While not utilized in defenders, iron fist can heal injuries with his fist that other team members might endure. Daredevil agility while useful on his lonesome, is even more useful with a team. With a team, the other members can distract the enemy allowing dd the time to properly position to get to key targets. JJ can leap to great altitudes as see in the show, and by grabbing people can help them get to a place they would take longer to get to. This would be even more helpful if in Jessica Jones season 2 the finally allow her the ability to fly.

The difference between Danny and Murdock was that Danny was not trained to kill. Murdock was, and although he morally does not kill, he can anatomically prevent someone’s death at his hands even through some death possible moments. He knows how to end fights. Danny does not.

I figured out why Finn Jones is such a bad Iron Fist, it's his American accent. It forces him to act in one single, completely monotone voice. Charlie kills it, Finn simply does not.
Yes, Charlie is a stronger actor than Finn... but I don't entirely blame Finn, it's not fair. I think his writers should take the blame, they didn't know how to use him properly and gave him fuck all to work with. Meanwhile, Charlie Cox or not, DD has a fantastic story line, cool scenes and decent dialogue. Iron fist series was weak and annoying as fuck, but he's very acceptable in Defenders. Not perfect, but a million times better. Ultimately, Defenders only lacked a strong and credible enemy (The Hand), but again only having 8 episodes to bring the 4 main characters together, to seek out, discover and defeat the Hand and then wrap up neatly is a tough thing to accomplish.

Luke and Jessica are the strongest but Daredevil and Iron Fist are the skilled fighters. If Iron Fist has his chi working then you'd favour him over everyone. But Matt is probably the most skilled out of them. I'd say Jessica is the most resourceful and Luke probably the strongest.

Here’s the thing: Being weak does not make you unable to win fights. Murdock fights by using his skill and combative experience, which is why he wins most of the fights he’s in. He doesn’t play it hard like Luke Cage or Danny Rand would. Especially seeing as Danny relies too much on the fist and doesn’t have full control, unlike Murdock who is exceptionally balanced. So yeah, he may be the “weakest” but he holds the longest track record of actually winning his fights.
I'm fairly sure Jessica is the strongest. Luke is the most resilient and Danny summoning the iron fist lets him break practically anything...but Jessica possesses more physical strength than either of them.

I love the scene when they decide that Danny should hide from the hand instead of fighting them himself and he is not happy bout it and Daredevil literally fucks him in the ass in hand to hand combat until he uses his glowing fist and that shows that Matt is actually pretty powerful when fighting ordinary people without special abilities, so although he is far more skilled than for example Jessica, her superhuman strength gives makes her more powerful superhero cause she stands a chance against aliens and other stuff beyond the reach of ordinary human power level.
I feel like daredevil is the most useful defender since he has a different skillset to the others. The others fight really good and so can he but he can also hear things from very far away and tell if people are lying etc.

No, none of the defenders can beat any of the avengers. They are where they are at for a reason, what superpowers a person has is only a minor factor compared to discipline, experience, and resources. Daredevil is highly skilled and determined but has zero durability/healing and is only most effective in urban areas where he can take advantage of his echolocation. If he was fighting in a desert he would not be as efficient like how spiderman cant swing around with his webs if hes not in a city. Jessica Jones doesnt give enough fucks (understandably). Luke Cage has great power but has a casual attitude compared to other heroes and his fighting strategy is just take hits and not even try to do any fancy moves. Before he is even able to land a punch on any avenger while they are dodging everything he is throwing at them they would have found a way to subdue him with the resources and prep they have. Iron Fist is young and naive and he will eventually grow into a very wise and patient person but he is like spiderman compared to the avengers. He is the best martial artist in the world but not the best h2h. Cap has too much exp. and can last long enough to adapt to anything. There is nothing he hasnt seen. Not even taskmaster or deadpool can defeat him. Iron fist has his chi but it is not infinite and just a gimmick that the avengers can be well prepared for. They would all become avengers eventually but when it comes to discipline and experience, they are way behind the the original roster of avengers. Again the writers put them where they are at for a reason otherwise they would naturally find themselves in the avengers team (like what tony did for spiderman even tho spiderman so op).

I'd like to see DD and Wilson Fisk show up in the MCU. Also maybe Luke Cage. The others, I don't care so much. But those were excellent portrayals, and I feel like with the work Cox must have put in in terms of training, he deserves an opportunity to shine on the big screen, and the accompanying, huge MCU paycheque.

That's really difficult because obviously you can practically launch a missile at Luke Cage and he just swats it away so he's the most physically strong, but the strongest team member as far as being an asset is DEFINITELY Mattie because he takes on everybody and their mother with hardly any super powers. Well, the Justice System doesn't always work and there are criminals out there who were inspired or are trying to like the joker and whatnot. Luke is a tank, rediculously hard to take down, with amazing strength, Jessica is sort of, the light tank, she isn't nearly as strong, and has no defense, but is a smaller faster target, daredevil has strategy and is a genius level fighter, iron first has the punch (great for finishing a tough enemy) but people forget he is near or even equal to mat in combat prowess.

*Offense*: Iron Fist with the fist activated is devastating, only one who can actually hurt luke on the team. Luke cage has a slight edge over jessica, while matt is definitely last while being a skiled fighter
*Defense*: Having unbreakable skin is an easy metric for being the best defensivly, jessica jones being slightly weaker than luke again, daredevil comes out ontop over iron fist due to having armor and his heighten senses give him a sort of spidey sense useable to dodge attacks someone like iron fist would not see coming
*Intellect*: Matt easily the smartest, best decision making when using logic, lawyer, and provides info in battle using his highten senses such as amount of enemy's, weaponry, etc.. Jessica is next being a PI and by finding out matts identity proves her intellect. I give luke the edge over iron fist because iron fist has very little knowledge over the real world, often pointed out by being naive and often referred to as a little kid.
*Skill*: Iron Fist barely gets the edge over daredevil, but i believe him to be the more skillful fighter, being raised to fight. Daredecil was also trained to fight the hand, but not to the same degree as danny. Jessica gets the edge over luke because luke is actually too strong. He never had to worry about being skilled because he easily overpowers his foes and can resist their attacks, so he never had to try and learn skillful fighting. The same can be said for jessica, but being less powerful both def and off has made her more prone to damage, which probably makes her focus more on the art of battle
Average: On average, each character gets a 2.5 ranking meaning they all contribute similar value to the team. (remember low numbers is what your aiming for, as the lower the number the higher ur rank is on the list)
DD:4+3+1+2=10 10/4= 2.5
JJ: 3+2+2+3=10 10/4=2.5
IF: 1+4+4+1=10 10/4=2.5
LC:2+1+3+4=10 10/4=2.5
Conclusion: Iron Fist is the best attacker, being both powerful and skillful. However is terms of intellect and defense he is the worst. Luke cage and DD are near opposites of each other, with luke being strong in defense and attack and daredevil having high levels of intellect and skill. Jessica is the best character in terms of being an all around fighter, not the best at anything but can hold her own in each trait.
Team Attributes: Each character poses an attribute that is helpful in a team setting, but diminishes in value when alone. That is the say they are still useful on their own, but they are more effective in a team. Luke cage being naturally big and artifcially bullet proof allows him to absorb damage for his team. While not utilized in defenders, iron fist can heal injuries with his fist that other team members might endure. Daredevil agility while useful on his lonesome, is even more useful with a team. With a team, the other members can distract the enemy allowing dd the time to properly position to get to key targets. JJ can leap to great altitudes as see in the show, and by grabbing people can help them get to a place they would take longer to get to. This would be even more helpful if in Jessica Jones season 2 the finally allow her the ability to fly.

Daredevil is technically the "weakest" strength wise, but he can withstand ALOT,, most likely more than Iron fist and Jessica Jones (not Luke of course) and he is a very skillfull, agile fighter. Some would say Danny is more skillful because he was trained hard to fight. But so was Matt just not to the same extent, either way Matt would still beat Danny one on one. He can probably beat Jessica because he is so quick and agile she may not get the chance to even hit him. I’m just saying that Jessica can only really beat him if she can hit him which may be difficult. Luke would beat him because Matt wouldn't do any damage and Luke is strong. Danny can only beat Matt if he uses his Iron Fist otherwise Matt will kick ass. I'd say the order of strength combining all fighting abilities would be Luke, Matt, Danny, Jessica. I'm not saying Jessica is the weakest because she is very strong, but in the case that each member were fighting each other I'd say Jessica would lose against Matt, would lose against Luke, and would lose against Danny. Danny probably wouldn't be able to beat Matt or Luke unless he uses his Iron Fist. The difference between Danny and Murdock was that Danny was not trained to kill. Murdock was, and although he morally does not kill, he can anatomically prevent someone’s death at his hands even through some death possible moments. He knows how to end fights. Danny does not.

Yes, Charlie is a stronger actor than Finn... but I don't entirely blame Finn, it's not fair. I think his writers should take the blame, they didn't know how to use him properly and gave him fuck all to work with. Meanwhile, Charlie Cox or not, DD has a fantastic story line, cool scenes and decent dialogue. Iron fist series was weak and annoying as fuck, but he's very acceptable in Defenders. Not perfect, but a million times better.
Ultimately, Defenders only lacked a strong and credible enemy (The Hand), but again only having 8 episodes to bring the 4 main characters together, to seek out, discover and defeat the Hand and then wrap up neatly is a tough thing to accomplish.

Here’s the thing: Being weak does not make you unable to win fights. Murdock fights by using his skill and combative experience, which is why he wins most of the fights he’s in. He doesn’t play it hard like Luke Cage or Danny Rand would. Especially seeing as Danny relies too much on the fist and doesn’t have full control, unlike Murdock who is exceptionally balanced. So yeah, he may be the “weakest” but he holds the longest track record of actually winning his fights.

I love the scene when they decide that Danny should hide from the hand instead of fighting them himself and he is not happy bout it and Daredevil literally fucks him in the ass in hand to hand combat until he uses his glowing fist and that shows that Matt is actually pretty powerful when fighting ordinary people without special abilities, so although he is far more skilled than for example Jessica, her superhuman strength gives makes her more powerful superhero cause she stands a chance against aliens and other stuff beyond the reach of ordinary human power level.

I feel like daredevil is the most useful defender since he has a different skillset to the others. The others fight really good and so can he but he can also hear things from very far away and tell if people are lying etc.

No, none of the defenders can beat any of the avengers. They are where they are at for a reason, what superpowers a person has is only a minor factor compared to discipline, experience, and resources.
Daredevil is highly skilled and determined but has zero durability/healing and is only most effective in urban areas where he can take advantage of his echolocation. If he was fighting in a desert he would not be as efficient like how spiderman cant swing around with his webs if hes not in a city.
Jessica Jones doesnt give enough fucks (understandably).
Luke Cage has great power but has a casual attitude compared to other heroes and his fighting strategy is just take hits and not even try to do any fancy moves. Before he is even able to land a punch on any avenger while they are dodging everything he is throwing at them they would have found a way to subdue him with the resources and prep they have.
Iron Fist is young and naive and he will eventually grow into a very wise and patient person but he is like spiderman compared to the avengers. He is the best martial artist in the world but not the best h2h. Cap has too much exp. and can last long enough to adapt to anything. There is nothing he hasnt seen. Not even taskmaster or deadpool can defeat him. Iron fist has his chi but it is not infinite and just a gimmick that the avengers can be well prepared for.
They would all become avengers eventually but when it comes to discipline and experience, they are way behind the the original roster of avengers. He practically dismantles the entire Hand himself fighting the biggest big baddies while the others are like sideline distractions. Daredevil for MVP.

Well, the Justice System doesn't always work and there are criminals out there who were inspired or are trying to like the joker and whatnot. Apparently, nobody is willing enough to be a vigilante that could kill somebody who really do deserve it, can't be changed, or risk getting out of prison again to do the same thing that got them in there. Im not saying there should be someone out there that could be like the Punisher or Red Hood but I'm surprised no one has tried doing like them.
