Superb video and more importantly choreography work, showing exact vital steps and no more......your video / choreography skills are very much appreciated.

Seems like lube was only put on the outside of the sliding tubes and not on the bolts going through them (except some inside the tubes).
Maybe a first try with no dismantling could then be to just lift the rubber gasket off its groove and spray something in there?

Great video, helped me out. Although was unable to get out the pins out even after soaking overnight with wd40 drilling and then busting my pin punch, so hand to replace the whole caliper. Had to go new for the LH but picking up a used for the right in advance. To much salt and wasn't lubed to start in Cali :(

Thank you for the video! Did you lubricate the actuator gears? What lubricant would you use to do so?

Some reason you didn’t lube the reduction gears ?

Great video! Does the parking brake automatically adjust after all this then? So you don't need to adjust it manually once it's back?

@@stepbystepmechanic5649 just followed this exactly, thanks again for the brilliant video! One extra thing I did was open the electric motor, it's two torx bolts. I had loads of dirt in there and an O-ring that was caked so I cleaned that up too. Not sure how much difference this will make but hopefully will protect the cogs a bit better.

Thanks for the great video but I was wondering if there are any torque specs required when we place the brake calipers back on? Or does it really matter that much as long as it's nice and tight?

Lol
