Teaching listener responding using noun verb/verb noun combinations

In this video Isma Khan is working on teaching the child to follow instructions. The first level was touch spoon, touch car, touch cup. Then we have moved onto noun verb or verb noun combinations, where the child needs to understand the action (verb) they need to perform with the object (noun). This is a more advanced level of instruction following as the child needs to identify which item the therapist is speaking about but also the action to perform. Therefore the child needs to understand the concept of verbs and nouns and be able to differentiate between all the items on the table.
