It's quite amazing, actually. I've seen the Eiffel tower and now this train station in Budapest. Can't wait to see it when they are donw remodeling it. Thanks Eckert. 🇭🇺👌🚉
@@TravelAddictGuy I can hardly wait either. After its completion, it will become the largest railroad station not only in Hungary but in the entire Carpathian region.
Hi Kerry. Very interesting traveling around Europe by train. Thanks for taking us along to Budapest Hungry by train. The train is a cool way to travel. Liked the restaurant on the train. Very responsible prices. Nice video. Enjoyed the ride.
They have fried eggs in that menu, nice! Looks cozy inside that dining room with those massive windows showing the amazing landscape. I want to check it out now. I wonder if they would take large items, like a bicycle. Maybe those hangers at the 6:45 min mark are for bikes. Do you know what happened to the guy who was causing trouble?
The guy seemed almost mentally challenged. They were a srrange looking couple. Apparently they were on the train with no ticket. I think you can take a bicycle, other comme ts said you could. The dining car is awesome. Have your lunch and enjoy the trip. Thanks Leplane.
Humenne is in the east of Slovakia 🇸🇰 on the way to Ukrainian border. I listened to a Spectacular Slovakia podcast to learn more about this region. It’s mountainous and bus travel can induce motion sickness on those curvy roads.
Thanks for that great research. It was hard to find a train to Budapest at first. The travel sites were showing just buses. The train travels slow in some areas and stays near the river mostly. Sounds like Humenne would be an interesting place to visit. Thanks Pat.👍😎
6:45 that's where you can hang your bike :). Humenné is close to my home town (Snina), it's not a very touristy part of Slovakia but it's a beautiful region with a National Park Poloniny. It's great for hiking/cycling. BTW Paul Newman's mother was born just outside of Humenné and Andy Warhol's parents were born near the town of Medzilaborce, north of Humenné. There is a museum dedicated to Andy Warhol and his family. A lot of people from this region emigrated to the US in the early 1900s. My family, and most of my friends still have relatives in the US :) Oh and the reason why Humenné appears on this boards in Bratislava is because it is often the final destination of cross-country trains (Bratislava - Humenné, Prague - Humenné)
Not as fast as Spain. You go slow in some spots and faster in others. They did not show the speed like Spain, so I'm not really sure. One great thing is, you can relax and have a beer or lunch in the dining car.
The architect of this budapest Train Station was Gustave Eiffel. The same as the architect of the eiffel tower :)

The prices on the train are cheaper than most restaurants. The best way to travel is by train. 🚉🇭🇺👍

@@TravelAddictGuy Cool! Makes travel much easier then if you can take a bike
Boikotoi Unkaria!
Train is good in East Europe.
Very Nice train ride👍. The dining car menu looked Great. Cheers Kerry.😀
That dining car was amazing, my favorite part of the train for sure. I mentioned you in my latest video, you might want to check it out. 😃
@@TravelAddictGuy Thank You Kerry! I am two Videos behind, So I am catching up now 👍😀.

Both Andy Warhol and Paul Newman are very famous in the United States. Your city sounds like a very interesting place. Thanks for sharing. 🙏
I think you are going to like Budapest.
I think you're right. 🇭🇺👌
hello, I found this video while searching for ticket prices, tell me where you bought the ticket for this price, I can't find it, thank you very much
I purchased the tickets online. I have used rail ninja and the Budapest rail service www.mavcsoport.hu/en . Good luck.
Bratislava main station is true shame. As whole country of Slovakia.
It's not so modern the station, but I quite enjoyed my time in Bratislava.
Great train ride, looking forward to seeing more of your adventures!
That was one nice train, especially the dining car. Thanks Phil, new videos are on the way. 🙏🏻🚉😎
Hey Kerry, great video. I believe the orange fixings are bicycle racks
That makes sense, I thought maybe they were hauling some sort of cargo. Nice idea for those traveling with bikes. Good eye eggfried.👍
❤🤍💚💯💯💯
🙏
Hiya Kerri. Will you come to the UK.?
Great video. Happy Weekend.
I don't know, it's not in my plans right now.
Thankyou my friend
The dining car was the best. Thanks.
great train, those racks are for bikes I guess, it's popular its similar in UK, you can take your bike with you.
Train was fabulous, especially the dining cart. I think you're right about the racks. Thanks Po Lo. 👍
Cool man ,Continue down to Belgrade after then Macedonia and after Greece and the islands.
Let's see Budapest first. Like the idea though.
@@TravelAddictGuy yeah man enjoy man continue south after.
Hi TAg, how fast was that train going?
Not as fast as Spain. You go slow in some spots and faster in others. They did not show the speed like Spain, so I'm not really sure. One great thing is, you can relax and have a beer or lunch in the dining car.
Glad it is warming up a bit for you. Stay safe!
It felt warm coming for cold Prague
Thanks Elaine. 🇭🇺🙏😎
... any high-speed rails out there ?
I don't think so, at least I didn't see any fast trains. The last high speeds I saw were in Germany.
I think what you like the most of eastern europe are the prices, hahahahaha
Hahaha, you got to love those prices. But seriously, there is so much more. 🤑😂
@@TravelAddictGuy yeah, Budapest is great. Next stop, transilvania in Romania. Please, show me Dracula!!

It's about to get good. Thanks Amanda.🚉🇭🇺💪
Looks like you are travelling in style, Kerry. I hope you enjoy Budapest 😊
Pretty good for about a $25 train ride. That dining card was nice. Thanks Janet.🚉🇭🇺
Hi how many hours journey ?
Honestly, I don't remember how long, because this video was a while ago. I usually say how long the trip is in my videos though.
