Yah Law sure smiles a lot. It’s like every time he walk he’s giving a toothy grin from ear to ear. That’s probably why he and Luffy get along so well. 😂. Jokes aside tho it’s easy to assume Ds’ smile a lot due to most of them being that way but I think it’s more of the Monkey family, then anything else. Yes bb has his evil grin, and Saul had his signature laugh, but I don’t think smiling has anything to do with being a d. In Roger’s case it is showing he was similar to Luffy. Both Pedro and the Rumbar pirates faced death with a smile, as well as Bon when facing Magellan, but I wouldn’t start making theories about them being from the D clan. Some people are just Noble and badass like that. It’s like when people talk about haki as this all conquering force, that only strong people have, and if you don’t have it, you’re weak. Haki is badass and a good plot device. You can still be strong without it though. Not in a million years would I call Robin Or Franky weak. They just have their specialties in areas other than haki. Yah maybe they won’t be punching any logias, but Robin can take out a crowd in seconds just with one clutch, and Franky be blocking a Vice admiral’s sword slashes with his arms like it’s nothing. Man has his own armor why need haki. Just because we see a common theme doesn’t mean we can say for sure how things work.

Unlike Lucci Doffy's not gonna fuck with someone that's a Yonko. He'd probably attack Law though because in his eyes Luffy would have never realized he eixsted until Law
Unlike lucci be didn't have two years to train for the rematch, he'd just evade fighting luffy at all because doing otherwise is just suicidal, among all his traits doffy isn't suicidal
Let me clear this up: He was having a close business relation with Beast Pirates led by Kaido, and was running the Smile orchard and SAD manufacturing with Caesar as the chief scientist. Right?
@cosmobane6995 Doffy is the owner of the plant in dressrosa, he needs the SAD from Ceaser to create smile, then sells it to Kaido, thr whole operation pretty much runs through Doffy and since some emperors are involved they're pretty safe
Yes, and the reason that Kaido didn't just run the SMILE factory himself was that Doflamingo is a Warlord; Warlords can do whatever they like without the Government interfering, and so can their underlings. By having Caesar as an underling, Doffy was able to make SMILEs for Kaido and the Government had to just let him do it
Law didn't even dare to do it. His whole plan was to let Kaido do it, until Luffy decided he was gonna beat Doffy himself. And he only changed his mind after Luffy dragged him halfway there, so he can't complain imo.
@@jinkun2629 And with that reasoning, Luffy beating Doffy makes more reasonable other than because he's the MC. Law never planned to take down Doffy on his own so he's fine to let someone do it for him.
@@bilogskii2216 What people don't understand is that whenever Luffy has to beat a big villain, it's simply because nobody else was strong enough to do it. If there was, there would be no arcs for god's sake. Law would have killed Doflamingo before Luffy even got to Punk Hazard. Nami would have killed Arlong long before meeting Luffy. Skypiea would have been a peaceful trip with Enel dead. And so on. It's like people missed the point of Luffy's dialogue in Arlong Park about being useless in everything beside taking down the bad guy.
"Feels like I'm reliving that despair from 13 years ago" kind of makes me feel bad about Doffy just a little. He put his whole trust in Corazón blindly despite his brother coming back out of nowhere after years of no contact; He must have felt hurt when Corazón double-crossed them since he was the only thing Doffy had left from the past and the only person who has ever seen his vulnerable side when they were kids... Still, Doffy's an asshole. Don't condone his actions but he does have a human side despite his Heavenly Demon title. He actually considers the Donquixote members as Family, at least.
