The dual servos are touchy. You have to find a quiet room so you can hear well, and adjust the little arms coming off the servo horn until the noise stops, so you can tell they're not fighting each other any more. Adjust it the wrong way, they make more noise, so it's actually pretty easy to figure out. It wasn't a huge issue, but I did think it was something you shouldn't have to do with an RTR vehicle out of the box. I've been running the dual servos for years since, on my gen 1 e-revo, without having to readjust, or having any issues.
Who else loves the Revo 2.0 but hates the rear bars?

im working on fixing that, if your talking about the things that make the rear not steer (the steering links? but theyre on the rear)
I've had a Revo since they were first released 15+ years ago. I've broken nearly everything on it and upgraded as I went. I got my Revo to the point where absolutely nothing ever breaks anymore, EXCEPT for the differential gears.
I don't recall those rear bars ever being much of an issue though. I think I upgraded them with a full set of titanium bars and never had another issue.
Nah fam get the xmaxx, had no problems with the push rods or toe links, just had problems with the esc and driveshaft on the e revo 2.0
Bought the E revo and that was a very expensive mistake
I always seem to miss the live streams, they always seem to coincide with my workout time, or when I'm picking up the kids or something, but hey that's the way things go sometimes nice seeing that big rig out and about again, have a good one 😀👌

You should put zip ties on the back of the e revo to prevent stripping the Rod ends. Works great for me. Want to make a vid about it soon.
HEY KEV!!!! The rear link that is sliding down is on upside down it should have the long side up. You probably figured that out already. Just wanted to let you know if you didn't! Love your work thanks for everything you do
Kevin you must smash the xmax on a phone flat out while recording, it could be massive
One thing I love to do with my car is turn all the way to the right, let go and because it jiggles back and forth VERY quickly, my servo can actually respond in time and wiggles the wheels too.

At $30 you can install two of them if the BEC can handle that load and trim them, then it should steer perfectly (the servo saver seems to be on the soft side tho).
Only question is does it retain the waterproof capability if using this servo?
Website does not mention that it's waterproof.

hot racing limiting straps might help stop breaking the rear links. i need to dig out my revo and try and fix the pivot balls again, or take it to be repaired if it is still too fine of work for my 'trigger finger' condition to deal with.

What's the servo you recommend for the jlb 21101
I just smoked the factory Arrma Kraton Servo. Would this be a good option for my truck as well?
Great to see the erevo out again. On your recommendation I brought two Zop batteries and so far I like them. My erevo does seem to be a lot more punchy than yours though.
Did you had to make any mod to the batterie to fit in the e revo?
You should do a video about moding the x maxx to the best racing truck.... By using the best servo,motor,esc, and nearly everything.... I would like to see it as I'm going to buy one soon and wanted to modify it....✌

Only necessary mod i had to do with mine was replace the faulty esc out of the box 8( but the erevos a beast when running right! Ive since replced other things (toe links and tires and such) from my tumbles and stupidness lol

Hey Kev. You should try the RPM True Track conversion kit, it eliminates the rear turnbuckles for the e revo.
They require modding for the 2.0 and they shorten wheelbase
The latest traxxas TUBES toe links paired with 85mm hr straps hold up nicely, haven’t had an issue since

My erevo keeps breaking.... replaced center driveshafts, rear links, ALL suspension links, and now the spur gear and pinion gear keep stripping... kinda a letdown with the truck tbh... I really want to figure out what I’m doing wrong or if traxxas needs to check it out...

the tsm gets bad when changing to a fast servo. the computer is programed to respond in a certain, tested way to stop a slide, when the servo does more, faster than whats programmed, it can get wierd :D

All I have are race buggy’s and truggys and I don’t like bashing them cause I have around $2,000 in each of them what would you recommend for a really good basher im thinking the x maxx but I don’t know what do you think

You can upgrade them to the metal driveshafts which won’t break, though if you have a metal spur gear you’d wanna replace it for the stock one so you have a weak link

Nope, it should work fine as it is although I've not tested it myself so don't know for 100% sure
