thats a massive dream, on another level! You must dedicate your life to it, spend every second of every day on it, never give up, never stop learning, sacrifice almost everything else. Most things you try will go wrong at first, it's not a failure, you're just collecting data. If you don't manage to pull it off, you just didn't want it enough, other things were more important. If you want it enough you'll find a way to make it work. Good luck!!
Anyone who knew Kevin before any of this will know this is a 100% true story (although I can call forward several people that would disagree with him being a loser back in the day). When I met Kevin he was not doing this he was a hard working mechanic who had just got rid of a seriously powerful cosworth, normal job with a love of vehicles no matter how big or small. In fact anything small he had learnt to make big and I couldn't believe it when it turned up one day in a landy like Andy (but red) on probably the tallest Street tyre set up legal to date and we went greenlaning and climbing hills I could never possibly walk up. Kevin is a fun person to be around, guaranteed smiles for miles no matter what the chat is about or the activity he wishes to embark on. Its been a pleasure to see a normal person I used to spend time with make it so far with a genuine start, a heartfelt focus and determination that we all seek from the start weve all hd in life. Well done mate, you've always taught me dreams are worth pushing for and what can be achieved if you put your heart and passion into it ❤🎉
As a middle schooler, I dream to make a trophy truck when I grow up, and this inspires me to keep moving forward to my dreams even if there are obstacles along the way. Thank you Kevin.
“i’m not a super brainy, high iq person” Yes you are kev, from one enthusiast to another man, you pulled off what the rest of us are all trying to do, major props to you brother!
You are very inspirational…my wife is in a coma and is dying…in Portugal…I am a retired Airline Pilot and Lawyer and fought against poverty for most of my life to finally make it but it was followed by a horrible “accident” 2 weeks after I retired….keep on being inspirational..
Kevin if you have a chance to see this, I am inspired by your content, especially your journey building your monster truck. I have always been told that RC cars are just a huge waste of money and that I should do something better, but you always remind me that at the wnd its about what puts the biggest smile on your face. Cheers to a successful 2025!
I watched Bigfoot flip in the video you showed in the beginning at the Hoosier dome in Indianapolis when I was a kid. Very motivating story about making your dreams come true.
Dang Kev, your story and mine have a lot of parallels. Unfortunately my physical stature stopped me from my dream (fighter pilot) but my fall back was pretty good and I was very happy. I was also special needs, called LD or learning disabled at the time, barely graduated high school, never went to college. My dad, who was a high school teacher saw through all the “you gotta go to college to be anything” BS and very much so against my mothers wishes, I went to trade school instead. The result was I make more money then all but one of my college educated friends, I work in my field of choice and my skills are in very high demand. I’m not wealthy but I am happy with my choices. Kev you’re a true inspiration and I’m so happy for you! Thank you for making this video!

I’ve followed your content since before your monster truck build. It’s great to see all the small goals get met that make the big goal a reality. Looks like it’d be a blast operating that truck.
Love this video Kev I like seeing and hearing your history and the beginnings of the interest in the monster trucks! I’m a heavy duty mechanic over here I love big machines and big engines. If I could do any profession I wanted to be a race car driver for the longest time. The world rally car wrc class specifically. Haha. But not much for racing over here unfortunately growing up 🇨🇦. I’ve owned a few fast cars though, some from Japan also!
I have created a UA-cam channel partially from watching your videos. They are so funny yet informative, and I am hoping to grow my channel in the future and reach great things. You are such an inspirational person and I love watching your videos. I hope you read this comment and know how motivating you are… thanks for everything Kev!
You have to be obsessed in order to be the best at something! Loving something is not enough, you have to want it beyond your ability so that you MUST strive to fill that void.
You did a fantastic job at creating the life you wanted, I tip my hat to you sir as I’ve been trying and trying for years to make something out of myself and I always get kicked back to the start every 5 years. Keep up the hard work Kev and keep on reaching for those stars 🤙
I’d imagine Kev by now would have come up with some type of product like how other channels have branded rc products. He’s got so many connections but he’s also a busy guy he likes simplicity. So come out with something that is “durable” and simple, but something the Rc community needs.
Good on you Kev!! I must say, back in your old videos when you had the chassis sitting in the shop for a few years I kind of doubted that you would ever finish it. But I am glad you did! I remember when you used to use the linkages on the chassis of the game over truck as a suspension test for your rc cars. I was very surprised when you mentioned in one of you (Today in Talbot's shop) videos that you were getting the parts to finish the monster truck.
Congratulations kev! Not only a great vid, great channel, your a great guy. You have really done it, but there's still a lot left for you to do. Keep up the goodwork and you are going to be in the books for a long while in the community. Thanks for all your work!
Yes!! I remember seeing the Tamiya Bigfoot and was hooked at the age of 7! Looking forward to seeing you progress Kev as you get familiar with the sport and truck.
Thanks Kevy. My dream is have my very own drag car. I have people always putting me down saying it's impossible. To give up on my dreams, but I use it as fuel to the fire and I ignore them and keep going. I know how it felt Kevin. Truly inspirational Kevin.

I’ve owned a few fast cars though, some from Japan also!
You are an inspiration mate. Well done, proud of you.
You're an inspiration Kev! Keep being awesome
We have loved watching you on your journey. Congratulations
Yessir game over
And Primal made an RC of your dream truck. Destiny is what you call it.
Kev, you are such an inspiration, your the prime example of nothings impossible, your awesome man, keep up the great work
Congrats🎉🎉..always good to see ppl succeed!
Im happy for you Kev, to see a childhood dream come alive, must be so awesome! Love your channel, and great content. Keep it up, youre doing great!
Kev, I’ve gotten to watch your channel for years and genuinely this video helped me say to myself I can do it and to keep chasing my dreams. Thank you
You did a fantastic job at creating the life you wanted, I tip my hat to you sir as I’ve been trying and trying for years to make something out of myself and I always get kicked back to the start every 5 years.
Awesome story, we are capable of so much more. Just believe in yourselves and go for it 👏👏👏
Thanks Kevy. My dream is have my very own drag car. I have people always putting me down saying it's impossible. To give up on my dreams, but I use it as fuel to the fire and I ignore them and keep going. I know how it felt Kevin. Truly inspirational Kevin.
I had a dream to have one of my mates build a monster truck. You did, dream is now accomplished. Cheers mate!
Thanks for the positive pep talk Kev thank you for the moral boost brother
