- First up I need to reserve a seat on the shinkansen for my trip back to Tokyo. Navigating the train station is very confusing but I can still get to where I want to go.
We have a day trip to Nara to see the bowing deer and to feed them Also there is a giant Buddha there as well so we pay a short visit there.

Music - Not the Usual Train
Even with the bus connections, you certainly got your steps in that day, Cher. You deserved that nice soak in the tub at the end! We have several hundred urban deer living in my partof Victoria, BC. Our gardens are eaten every day, so we need to safeguard certain plants behind fences or it would all be gone. The deer won't eat scented or fuzzy plants or grasses, so that's most of our landscaping in open areas.
