When I first saw GT it wa the dub with the rap opening. I had no idea this beautiful piece existed until many years later, long after Izumi passed away. There's just so much heart in this song that was completely taken out of the dub. GT was a flawed series and Super is undoubtedly the better sequel, but it nonetheless gave us this treasure. Sakai Izumi is not in this video. She is the original lyricist of this song (with the composition of the guy in the video), and she was the vocalist of Zard (she sang the 2nd ending of dragonball gt). She died in 2007, after falling stairs in a hospital, where she was for cancer trearment.
