Thats what I like to see bikes pushed to their limits!!! its so annoying when people post up videos of them riding bikes slow, videos like this help you determine whether to buy or not
@@HartyBiker Condition of exhaust downpipes, rust on lower frame (at rear of engine) Spokes and condition of wheels and suspension and excessive top end noise/smoke. That's the most important stuff (considering its still a runner). Great site. ;)
@@ATOMTAYLOR thanks mate. Yeah it's a runner and I did notice a rust hole in one of the exhausts and a few of the usual electrical issues you'd expect from a bike this age. Other than that it looked pretty good, I'll have a better idea of the frame condition once I get her home and strip the frame. Thanks for the tips, wish me luck :)
Those were great little bikes. They were never going to set the world on fire because most younger riders wanted 2 strokes and most older riders wanted a bigger engine. But for people who weren't too fussed about setting lap records they offered the agility and easy handling - as well as the running costs - of a 125 without the restricted performance or the chance it'd previously been "tuned" by a clueless 17 year old. Perfect commuter bikes. The only issue was their light weight and slim profile meant they didn't react nicely to inclement weather and weren't so good on long journeys. The Suzuki GN250 was a better bet for long journeys, which was a really comfortable bike and a great cruiser from before the era when they all become swathed in chrome and tassles.

スピードメーター、タコメーター共に動いていないですが。。。
No rev counter nor speedo naughty .similar to mine owned 36 years as of this November 😊
Was about to put the same comment... Had a whale of a time with mine :)
Best little 250 that came out of the 80's. Almost 100 pounds lighter than twins of the day. I've had about six of them. Fond memories.
I'm about to buy a running unlicenced one with plans for a restoration build of some sort. Anything common problems to look out for?

Those bikes are designed that you can remove the rear wheel without knocking out the spindle. Never seen that feature on any other bike.

Where did you get those mirrors, or are they standard on the later version?
They are aftermarket. About 17 quid a pair on EBay, Mirror itself is plastic [wadd'you expect at that price !].
