- Underwater detecting on a small public beach. Many good finds here earlier, but there is still more... Rings in different metals, coins, musket balls, etc. Action all the time. Metal detecting under water in the southern parts of Norway, week 37. Using a Minelab Excalibur II, mounted on a Plugger straight shaft.
Bra film, nu vill jag ta dykcert. Det öppnar verkligen upp för en helt ny skattjakt.
Tack för inspiration.

Great video. Great channel 😊👌
That sound of the metal detector scares TF out of me like it's so freaky it should be used in horror films
It sounds like a man calling for help to me
I'm proud to be a sub of yours, this is top notch stuff. Very well done!
I really do enjoy your different points of view, and I know how time consuming that can be. I am presently taking my open water diving course and will be in the water doing your thing soon as I can. Keep those videos coming, please. Excellent finds, and I love how some of your finds are quite old. Scott

I recently searched for permission to go with a metal detector in Southern Sweden on a couple beaches :)
I so hope that they won't deny me!
Happy hunting!
Great video I enjoyed it very much. THANK YOU
MYO Z Thanks :-)
The good thing with metal detecting in norway under water is that it's no dangerous sharks there.
Another great video! Nice hunting. Cheers Doc

Hi Pondguru. Thank you for the nice feedback ;-) Yeah the trash/good ratio is much better under water. (I detect on land as well) It is great fun under water. BTW, I am a big fan of your detecting videos. Keep up the good work!
Interesting video. I liked it. Good luck

My pleasure rollofnickles! Glad you liked it. Cheers!

What is the ratio between "good findings" and garbage?
Greetings from Brazil !
Great video!👍
That bronze ring!
Beautiful videos mate!
Thank you Manny ;-)
Beautiful video... I just subbed 👍
Very relaxing video good job, btw where do you keep the items you found while your in the water
Awesome video, man. Very well filmed indeed and some great finds. 50/50 is a ratio of good to trash I can only dream of. Maybe I need to get a dry suit and Excallibur II?
very nice finds and nice end too :P
Thank you RD ;-)
Thank you Adam. I am just a amature with 5 videoes or so on my list, so I appreciate the nice words ;-)
Subbed you. Well put together. Cheers.
hey kai im just wondering is it easier to find jewelry under or out of water?
Let me know, and great finds,
Thank you MassenaA. The water temperature is about 15 degrees celcius right now I think. Approx 20 in july/aug. Getting colder. But its not a problem on a 2,5 hrs dive. Drysuit with warm clothes under
Likewise mdotv1 ! Enjoyed so many of Your very good videos as well, during the last year. (since I got hooked on MD :)
really cool vid! liked and subscribed
Thank you for the nice comment Drew!
Nice dive
Hi Leonardo. The ratio is much better than on land. Better than 50/50 most times
Great video thank you .... I need to edit mine like this
Jason Loeve Thank you Jason :-)
Hej har du nogle godt fif til indstillinger på excaliber 2 til strand og marker syntes ikke jeg kan få den til ikke at jern med ?
Great videos man! How do you clean the things that you find?
Great videos Kai. I hunt on the east cost of Florida.
Tony M Thank you Tony. Are you hunting under water, or wading? I wish I can make that happen later - hunting the cost of Florida. I am in Florida approx. every second year (at least over the last 20 years), and I have been thinking about it when I have been there. (after seeing DiggingRings videos).
Kai Garseg I hunt wet sand and surf up to chest high. Let me know when you're headed to Florida and maybe we can hunt together.
Great video
Can you tell me more about your camera set up. Is a friend video taping you too?
Better late than never... 😄 No, I bring a couple of Go-Pro's attached to the lid of a jar with a lead weight inside, and place the here and there on the seabed
My sister lived in Oslo man I really should have visited there. My brother-in-law works for Schlumberger they are in China now. Where is this exactly? The clarity is fantastic, looks really fun. Not warm I would imagine!! Dude, that bronze ring is a museum piece take it there find out. 15th C at least
Doesn't seem like you need the Excalibur for this kind of detecting right? A small handheld waterproof detector like the KKmoon would do the trick as well right? If not, what are the advantages?
kkmoon in chineese counterfeit products I think. Pirated american Vibra Tector 750. I stick to quality brands that I know will do the job.
Awesome video and finds! How long can you hunt on a tank of oxygen? GL & HH
Its a tank with air, not oxygen. Usually two hours dive in shallow water
Yeah it was a nice couple of hours in the other world beneath the surface ;-) Thank you Michael!
Thank you Matt ;-)
Great video. May I suggest an edit to the title. Bronze is whith a "Z" hope this helps. Cheers.
norway..so is this black metal detecting?..sorry had to say it..greetings from daytona beach florida my wegian friend
***** :-) I have been in Daytona many times, last time just a few months ago. I like it there :-)
Thank you Andy. Yeah you better bring the detector, hehe ;-)
Thanks Mikey. Yeah, I wish I had the temperature you have there, but since we dont, threre is dry suits, so its no big issue for us anyway between may and october/nov. But it's getting to cold soon... :-( How is UWMD in Hawaii? Lots of good finds? (I would think so, with all the tourists)
Nice vid Kai, really enjoyed it. I look forward to the next one. How long were you out for on that day? Cheers, David
Thank you David. Usually I am in the water for two hours, sometimes close to 3 hrs, If my bladder allows me to ;-)
Hey, do you know how old was that antique bronze ring?
Hi Vitas75. No I dont know, but I have a feeling it it quite old.
Thank you DiggingNorway! Appreciate it! See you later - under the surface somewhere in the Oslo fjord? ;-)
Thank you DetectingNTexas! More coming up a little bit later ;-)
Nice video good job from Taiwan
Trevliga videos! Keep em coming!
Are the coins old or are they recent ?
Thank you Stefan. Most of the coins are recent coins, but some are late 1800s, early 1900
Yes bruttern - 100% Norwegian. Takk for din PM ;-)
