I love how authentic you are. In this age of materialism and "perfectionism" it's just so refreshing and comforting to hear honest stories of how you learned a lesson or two from your past mistakes or accidents you've encountered. It may seem so trivial but the message behind such authenticity makes me appreciate the process of adventure, discovery, shortcomings, and learning. Ps: happy that you're a size 6 too 😁🙏
I love how most of your shoes are classy and for long term. I’ve always had the habit of buying shoes that are either on sale or BOGO whenever I go to the mall. I end up having a closet full of shoes that i rarely (or never) wear because it’s either they went out of style quickly or their quality deteriorated. You inspired me to be smarter as a consumer (not just with shoes but basically with everything!!) and to always know my priorities whenever i think of buying anything. You don’t know how much you’ve helped in shifting my mindset from a hoarder to a real curator of the lifestyle fit for me. Quarantine lead me here to u, and i learned so many lessons about shoes and its importance and role to our basic lives. Clearly shoes are greater to live with quality than having to spend more on low qual and low existence.

Never been taught of being a minimalist until I started following and watching your videos. Even with your cats videos on ig, they are amazing.
Since then I never grew up with my parents instead, I grew up with my grandparents. I really want to have those crocs and heels, not because I deserve them but I want to get something to remind me to care for the environment by being a minimalist. These past few months of quarantine, you taught me to be organized and to manage my things more carefully especially when you have expensive things(not super expensive but the things you really earned so hard to have it) Watching your videos gave me two meaningful things: why my grandparents never taught me to buy unnecessary things and you made me realize what they meant way back then. I’ve been needing crocs footwear for laboratory work plus it’s easy to wear and comfortable running around the laboratory for 8-hour duty. Chemist here and a size 6. A must have for me. 💕

Just in time! I'm deciding to get a new pair of shoes this Christmas! I've decided to sell my white Platform Keds because it just don't fit well on my foot type and I just bought it without thinking much on it and because of the sale, so I really didn't get to wear it as much as I think I would. Now the previous How to be Basic shoes and this one enlightned me on how to pick and curate shoes that suits me and my personality. Thanks for these kinds of videos Winnie! You da best.
