Wonderful Video AeroLife, got to be inside one while parked at our hanger at school......she was just amazing, I really did not want to leave her sight. I agree the Cessna 182J is on another level.
I really like flying with the informed person this was the 182J, I wish I could use her as a training person for my pilot schooling. she makes you feel so comfortable love her. I look forward to her sales listings. You can sense when a person is totally honest.
Even the planes that look smaller will sometimes have quite a bit of space. We just had a 2 seat RV12 that looks very small from the outside but can fit over 6' tall person comfortably. The best way to find out is just to get into a 182 and see. If you happen to see a 182 on a ramp you could simply ask the pilot; most would let you take a look.
Liked & Subscribed. Love the content! Nearly every video, about halfway through I grab my wife and say "Let's get it." She always reminds me that I'm still only a student pilot that has yet to solo. Hrmph, details...
Isn’t that a reason you married her? To help keep things in perspective? I personally wouldn’t use my own aircraft for primary training because of the stress put on the plane. Once you’re in a stage to handle a plane well you could transition into your own plane to finish the training - which is what I did. But if you plan to own a more capable plane, either high performance or complex then I’d wait until after getting the license to buy. Appreciate you watching the videos, liking and subscribing.
Love your video. I have a cessna 182l 1968. I record every flight for myself to help me be a better pilot, and I use gopros which I believe you do also. I mount one on center dash because it's the best place I found for me, and my only option to get center view of my flight. When in training I flew 172 which all had a place on ceiling to mount a gopro and that's where I always placed my gopro's. Since I too have the same kind of ceiling with cloth completely across I do not have that option. In looking at your video I see you have a gopro mounted some how on center ceiling very close to wind shield. My question is how did you do that and maybe you could send me a few pic's. Thanks again for you view I am looking forward to trying your suggestion on my fuel tanks. I've been given other advice but never seem to make it work. Thanks again
I actually noticed the rear Omni vision window is wider on the G through Q models but beginning with the R model, the window is slightly narrower. Has anyone noticed that and why that was the case?
I never heard that and I did a lot of slips in Cessnas, most with my CFI. The book does caution you about slips with flaps though but people still do slips if they have a bunch of altitude to lose.
In the video we used a forward slip to lose altitude quickly. A sideslip is different. In some airplanes, when fuel is very low, if you do not have coordinated flight a slip might cause fuel starvation. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.
@@yahatinda He has a valid question. If you side slip a plane when it has low fuel that could cause fuel starvation. In some POH it specifically mentions not to slip the plane below certain fuel levels.
Nice video. It would be much more informative if you used metric units throughout so that the entire rest of the world can understand. No idea how wide is 44 "inches" . . .
I know, it’d be nice to use metric since it’s simpler. Since most of our audience is in US we have to use standard units of measurement. 44” is 1m 12cm 1 gallon is about 3.8l Thank you for bearing with the inconvenience and watching our video
I know, you’re right, this is just for fun. 1 horse is 14.9 horsepower over a short period of time while an engine can generate max rated horsepower in a much shorter period. Considering an instant, the statement could still be true. Thanks for watching the video.
The sign of a true aviation enthusiast - stops everything to look at another aircraft taking off!!
Thanks, it’s fun to watch the air tractors. Sometimes those pilots fly them under the power lines.
Yup, it’s in our blood....

I always learn from your informative videos. Thanks for bringing another great Skylane to market!
Thank you Ray. Hope you're enjoying your new 182.
You did a great job with this video. Super nice plane
If somebody wana buy a airplane you are the best to listend to get a good presentation of a airplane
Appreciate the comment, thank you for watching
Excellent presentation thank you very much. It would be great to hear your presentations on a turbo model.
Thank you for the comment, hopefully we will get access to one some day to do a review of.

Thank you for the comment. They are a great airplane.
The strip around the prop spinner and fairings around the gear are all part of the Horton speed kit
Thanks Alan, appreciate you sharing your knowledge of that.
Great video and very informative. Love the 182’s

🔝🆙 a Beautiful and versatile Plane the Cessna 182 Skyline ✈️💪🌠💫
You’re right, the range of things they can do is very impressive. Thanks for watching
Another great video looks like fun being able to be a pilot and fly I’m just to big to fit in them training planes I think they are very small inside

I would have to fly with a small person like you

It is a nice plane, thank you for the comment and watching the video.
Hello can u do yer presentations inside a hangar ? Th wind degrades all vocals
This weekend I will be taking a look at a 182J. I have my fingers crossed. BTW my decathlon has been sold. 😂
I actually noticed the rear Omni vision window is wider on the G through Q models but beginning with the R model, the window is slightly narrower. Has anyone noticed that and why that was the case?
cool !!!
Interesting
Fuel capacity with (STCed) fiberglass fuel tanks?
72 gallons in this one with the fiberglass tanks.
Hi!! you said that this plane has a ceiling of 17000 feet!!! Does it have built in oxygen tanks or connectors for air tubes??
Most small planes don’t come with inbuilt O2. We usually carry portable oxygen if we have to fly at higher altitudes.
😍
Can lights be put on both wings and does it work better for night landings?
It should provide better lighting at night I didn't come across an STC to do lights in both wings.
@@aerolife1646 have you sold this one too?
Trade for a 77 Piper Lance in Texas, well equipped?
Please contact the company directly www.aerolifeaviation.com/
Can you fit a Garmin 1000 to the 182?
Yes, some newer 182 models come with dual G1000 cockpits
Have been told that you shouldn’t side slip a Cessna something to do with the fuel is that right cheers

Lycoming is 235hp but that’s splitting hairs.
Someday I'll own a C182
That horsepower joke though. HAHAHA!!!
Thanks, wish you luck on your future plane ownership
