In general any site which doesn't work with a VPN is intentional as they want to track the web session. My best guess would be that they're getting a commission funnelling users to other platforms. I've looked into the company, they are based in Canada. I would avoid them.

My mother is a massive Aaliyah fan. While she was in nursing school, she worked for LaFace records and worked with Aaliyah and TLC few times in scheduling and various other sides of the business. I still remember the day of the crash, I was young but my parents came home really upset and turned on the news. My mother immediately blamed the industry because she knew first hand what flying private was like for up and coming artists. It's more like a budget cargo flight than anything.
Edit: I think this is the second crash you've covered that I have a tangential connection to. Flight 3407 went down just a few blocks from my house and my mother was an impromptu first responder. Unfortunately it was obvious there was nothing to be done other than cry.

Thank you for sharing your story. Based on your own judgement, do you believe that the plane ✈️ crash was accidental or sabotage? The reason I ask is because the FBI requested the owner of the charter flight company to release his maintenance records and flight ✈️ log information to them and he refused. The owner lied about the ownership of the charter plane stating that he gave it to the pilot. When the pilots dad was questioned, he stated that the owner was not being truthful and his son didn't own the plane, he was just the pilot!🤔

Excluded a important detail .. Aaliyah crew chartered an aircraft to Bahamas from Florida - pilot asked the weight of their equipment - he didn't believe their answer - so he had it weighed .. in fact the weight exceeded the limits of the aircraft - so they had to charter Two aircraft to Bahamas. On the way home - they again attempted to charter just One aircraft - not understanding by lying about the weight of their equipment could have catastrophic consequences. Pilot on the return trip did not weigh equipment - everything was loaded in the aircraft - on departure aircraft stalled being over - weight - and everyone died. Just trying to save a buck, they knew full well they required Two aircraft - they certainly didn't understand why.

Would it be possible for you to do a video on Jenni Rivera? She was a Mexican American singer who died shortly after a concert in Monterrey in Mexico on her way to the next concert location in Toluca. Her plane disappeared from radars in the middle of the night [around 3:40am] and wasn't found until many hours later. About 10 minutes before the crash, just as the plane was taking off, one of Jenni's entourage took a picture of Jenni and her group and posted it online showing how happy and excited everyone was.
The pilot was around 80 years old, whilst the co-pilot was around 20 and both were in breach of regulations and qualifications. The plane had also previously crashed and had had pretty bad damage. The flight data recorder was completely destroyed so no information could be retrieved, whilst the cockpit recorder was never found.
Everyone died and the people who found the wreckage were traumatised due to how bad the accident was. They claimed she'd been missing her head and she and other passengers had been torn apart and body parts were scattered everywhere. It was a pretty horrible crash and everyone was hopeful that she'd be found alive and that everything had been a misunderstanding so her fans were devastated upon hearing she'd passed away in a plane crash.
I haven't really seen any simulations of her accident and it would be nice to see a simulation of the accident to better understand exactly what happened.

I’m a bit too young to remember that, but it’s a sad legacy-he was only 30. I’d love it if you could cover that sometime, but I understand you’ve probably got a huge backlog!

I watched Aaliyah's episode of _Behind the Music_ before it was removed from UA-cam. The fact that captain Morales had cocaine in his system and everyone ignored his warnings that the plane was overweight infuriated me, but how Blackhawk didn't know Morales had falsified his records or that he wasn't authorized to fly the 402B is beyond me.

Before 9/11 this was very easily done. You really didn't need much to get a job. All you needed was your name, address and national insurance (social security) number to get a job. I can attest to this because I was employed in several places that way. As a pilot, you'd probably need little more than the above: a paper logbook of your flying hours and a certificate, which Morales could have easily paid to get.

One of the other conclusions, not mentioned in the video, from the medical examiners that performed a post-mortem on Aaliyah, was that she had a heart condition, that made her heart abnormaly weak, a condition that she almost certainly was unaware of. Even if she'd survived the initial crash & the fire, the shock, the sedatives in her system & the potential impact & burn injuries, would have meant she would have almost certainly have died anyway because her heart would have failed. This particular documentary goes to great lengths to place the blame on the aircraft pilot and management team, yet it is well documented the pilot refused to fly the overloaded plane, and a full-on row ensued with the celebrity's own management team, after which the reluctant pilot was beaten into submission by money-minded managers who insist on getting where they're going. In true celebrity form, of course, Aaliyah's family subsequently sued the air operator they had beaten into undertaking a flight they had deemed unsafe.

This is one painful memory I will never ever forget. This is one unfair cards dealt by life. Aliyah had a whole life ahead of her and it was painfully cut short. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.

Heartbreaking as well is that Aaliyah was also the first major victim of R. Kelly, apparently dating him as early as 14 and helping produce her first hit album, Age Ain't Nothing but a Number, which is very gross in hindsight. Ultimately I believe Aaliyah had the passion and talent to gain stardom without the abuse of R. Kelly and it's saddening that her short life was so fraught with difficulty.

I’m not sure if you’ve covered it because I just subscribed to you a few months ago but have you ever thought about covering the mid-air collision over New York in the 1960. My grandpa actually lived a few blocks away from where one of the planes ended up in Brooklyn.

Yes the pressure they crew put on the pilot and Aaliyah is ultimately lead to them dying. If you all know the fear most these people try to put in others so they get their way. This is a classic case.

I have been watching Air Disasters for as long as I can remember. I have not seen this accident talked about. 17:54 I wasn’t even sure how they crashed. Only that it was over weight. Thank you so much for this video. I was a huge fan and still remember where I was when I heard about her accident. R.I.P to such a beautiful young soul. She was taken way, way to soon. I have heard about other accidents where the pilots lied about there credentials. I don’t understand how this can happen. Especially when they are flying famous people!! You would think when someone can afford to charter a plane the pilot would be the best that, that company has to offer!!

The difference being that Roger Peterson was just a Young Pilot doing his job. While Luis Morales was a Cokefiend who was flying illegally.

Great coverage of this incident. Sadly, too many "holes" lined up for this accident to occur. RIP to all. I know that great feeling long ago of touring, the road, knowing you "got it". I'm from Jacksonville, Fl., and I know how her fans and family feel.

It shows how well you have managed to disconnect your personal life and biases/opinions/experiences from this channel - I have been watching for a veeeery long time and I just found out your name is Chloe? 😂😂 I’m glad you’re living your life your way and sure you get a lot of hate, which is undeserved.
Keep doing the great work, you provide edutainment content which is honestly amazing and exactly what I want to listen to while doing other things.

It's even more tragic in the irony that they could've easily shot the video in Miami instead of traveling to the Bahamas and nobody would've known the difference.
I know it's not the most important thing but it's just another fact that in retrospect adds to the pointlessness of her death.

She was surrounded by bad people. Sedating her before flight, not knowing the perils of private charter industry etcc.. She needed a good competent professional manager with experience. Sad to see the outcome.

MrFescue : Excellent point & this is what I first thought when I heard about the accident. She should have had a huge group of professional staff handling her travel and security. She had plenty of money. How did this end up this way with her essentially being totally unprotected... from her management to her family. But I also personally believe she was taken out. This crash is way too suspicious to me. I think is was partly so Beyonce, who in my opinion has no talent, could "take her place"- connecting also JayZ and subsequently Rhianna (who I believe DOES have talent). Nothing surprises me anymore and anything is possible. I was a huge fan of Aaliyah, especially after hearing her "One in a Million" CD. Plus, she had great style and cool music videos, plus a great figure... and boy could she dance!

I remember her fiancé at the time mentioning her fear of planes and she said she didn’t even want to get on this plane in particular, his name was Dame Dash so I’ll take his word. I always felt like she was setup in my opinion the story never made since. Her being sent that little plane and all the luggage, she was supposed to go home on another plane. The last minute change in plans, her talking about not wanting to get on the plane something was very off with this situation.
