Total asset me fixed asset bhi consider karna hai ya nahi?
Yes
Wonderful explanation..👍
Glad you liked it
Very good explained sir
Thank you.
Owner equity will not deduct from total assets? Just deduct the outside Liabilities?
Could not understand your question. Can you please elaborate a bit.
U r doing Great job sir 👍
Thanks sir for your valuable videos.....Quasi capital/ unsecured loans included in net worth??
The answer is Yes but very selectively.
In some cases they are. For example assessment of Commercial Real Estate..
Others, up to certain extent only can be considered. Say up to 40% the level of equity. The best place to clarify is your bank's Credit Policy. While doing that don't forget to check the delegation of power. What I mean is usually these powers are not vested with branches.
Dada apni kon bank e chakri koren ? Very informative video. Please provide a video on analysis of Book Debts during review of credit facilities.

What value we should consider in the net worth certificate? Whether Book Value or Market Value.
Book value/ Govt value for immovable assets, unless valuation report available.
Surrender value for liquid securities like LIC, Shares, Fixed Deposit etc.
Can software be added as part of Intangible asset. How about ATNW. Say, a company having TNW of INR 50 & investment in associate concerns of INR 100
Accounting Standard 10
Computer software for a computer controlled machine tool that cannot operate without that specific software is an integral part of the related hardware and it is treated as a fixed asset. The same applies to the operating system of a computer. Where the software is not an integral part of the related hardware, computer
software is treated as an intangible asset.
Adjusted TNW in the example you have given will become negative. Its basically the TNW minus investment in Associate concerns. ATNW is the correct representation of TNW if the company is having groups or associate. There are many ways to determine if the company actually has a group or associate. Personally I use the following:
1) Go through the balance sheet carefully you will definitely get something in the non current investment if this company has invested or the capital structure if someone has invested here.
2) Search MCA portal.
3) But if the group is having proprietorship or partnership concern and there is no mention of investment in the balance its difficult to detect. So I take CMA form 1 as declaration. CMA form 1 is a self declaration from the company regarding the associates or groups it is having as well as the exposure.
Hope this clarifies.

Team SDB.
Sir if capital is liability to firm then why it should be the net worth of firm while preparing CR?
The firm is an abstract entity. It has nothing of its own. So it takes money (Long Term Borrowing) from partners/proprietor to start/run the business. The partners/proprietor does so because they wants the first bite in the profit.
This money is investment/asset in the books of partners/proprietor but liability in the books of the firm.
Now go through the video once again. Hopefully it get clarified.
Sir ATNW par bhe video banaiye
sir hum kyu revaluation reserve consider nhi krte hai TNW ke liye. Please guide.
Revaluation reserve comes into picture when you do a fresh valuations of the assets on the right side of your balance sheet. The valuation of assets shoots up naturally we have to add something on the left side to maintain the balance.
So basically no additional fund is infused as capital by promoters neither cash generated by the company is pumped into the system.
If we consider revaluation reserve it will inflate the NW artificially.
@@ShuddhDesiBanking I totally agree with this point.. But when I search on Google about net worth they are showing net worth includes revaluation reserve...... And also when we prepare consolidated financial statements and in that when we transfer nw of subsidiary Co. To Holding Co.'s consolidated balance sheet we consider revaluation profit as well... Can u please explain why is it so?
Fantastic Sir
Thanks
