Summary: Unlock your Potential: Believe it to achieve it! As if by magic, some people know how to make wishes come true. Their secret of turning belief into success is disclosed in Claude M. Bristol’s convincing exposition of the art of autosuggestion and suggestion. “Coincidence” cannot explain the seeming miracles of belief he describes. Not since Coué has anyone argues so compelling the use for the Biblical text: If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”
The Magic of Believing is a hand-book, both inspiring and practical, on the theme of “belief works wonders.” It is by a man whose record shows him to be hard-headed: Mr. Bristol is a very successful man of affairs. But early in his life, as he tells in his first chapter, he learned that if he clearly visualized his goals and strongly believed he would attain them, then attain these goals he did. Why? To answer this, he read widely in religious and psychological literature. In chapter two he tells of his adventures among books on extra-sensory perception, suggestion, and subconscious powers.
From his experiences and his research, Mr. Bristol came to know how the subconscious mind works, and he devised techniques (which he describes fully) for releasing the subconscious forces - such techniques are the “card,” the “mirror”, and the receptive methods.
Mr. Bristol gives many examples of how thought influences physical events. It is known that thought can affect the shooting of dice. It is surmised that people with a “green thumb” influence plant life. Very striking instances are related of increasing retail store sales by applying Mr. Bristol’s advice. If you know how, says the author, you can even use your subconscious mind to get parking space on a crowed street.
This is a book planned to make your power of belief propel you to the things you want. It enthusiastically counsels you to visualize the future you want then make your belief a dynamo for achieving that future.

I'm now 220 days sober, going to school for addiction counseling and just got on the dean's list with a 3.74 GPA. I'm gonna get a 4.0 from now on, or at least I'm pretty sure I will. I just turned 30. And this 7+ hours were worth every little second.
Omg! I literally listened to this 2 days ago. Been having a rough time of it housing situation/finances and immediately stopped scrolling my twitter feed, full of negative news and started thinking positively, even singing positive songs in my head to stop the fear/anxiety of our situation. Had applied last week for our perfect rental, thinking negatively initially, then BELIEVING, literally just had the news we have secured our perfect rental!!
The fact that this was written in 1948 🤯🤯🤯 This was literally SO ahead of its time. Very impactful book 🙏🏽 Thank you for sharing!

One of the best parts of this book was the author acknowledging that women are also part of this powerful revolution in thinking/believing. It took thousands of years and 2 world wars to break men's belief that this wisdom was only meant for them. ❤

Heavenly Father, only you know the burdens I face please bless me and my children this Christmas. As a single mom it can be hard to have everything on your shoulders. Especially because both of my sons are autistic. It’s difficult to raise children alone but despite the challenges I face I keep faith in you Lord. As I struggle to pay rent and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. Jesus deliver me from my anxieties, and my troubles. Give me strength. Since suffering a heart attack two years ago and my on going battle with lupus I’m overwhelmed. Help me to find strength when I am weak, And hope when I am afraid. I will keep faith no matter what I face. ❤

Something once again switched for me a couple days ago. Since then I’ve been expanding my energy, myself, being more open, self-loving… all of that and more. I’ve communicated my thoughts and feelings and it’s all been reciprocated easily.
If this type of living doesn’t appear to be working relax some get it quickly but for most it comes more slowly, it did for me. Some “teachers” are fake, through learning you’ll pick up their false narrative; avoid them. They slow our progress through false teachings.
The secret is out in the opening. Do not want things, BE Thankful for receiving them. Thankful for your good health, wealth, love, success, strength, etc; Thankful ❤
Self love, acceptance, gentleness are all good companions to carry with you as you journey ❤ Discipline is necessary there’s no substitute for it. Practice, practice, practice your gratitude for things unseen, yet on their way ❤
