Ah I be been waiting on you guys to hit this subject. My lash girl does this and I’m not going to lie I cringed the first time because I know it’s not good for it to touch the skin. I will say tho, the retention did get a lot better. I usually stick to first applying bonder, waiting on it to dry, and then going in with the mister. My retention is pretty good too. 🤓🤓
Thanks for the comment Yvette - It's great to hear everyones individual experiences with these products alone or used when mixed together!!
Lovely video! Can you educate us on shock curing??? :)
Hi love! Absolutely ❤ Shock Curing is when lash glue is introduced to too much moisture, too fast. The excess moisture will cause glue to cure much faster than suggested, creating a hard but brittle hold. The glue curing too fast will result in premature extension loss due to a weak hold. In extreme cases, the glue may cure so fast that there will not be enough time to secure the lash placement before curing occurs, causing the extensions to pop off immediately or when brushing through the set. In extreme cases, Shock Curing will turn the base of the extensions (point of adhesion) white. Reasons for shock curing can be humidity/temperature, clients eyes watering, clients wearing masks, wrong glue for your environment, or the overuse of a nanomister!
Totally agree 👎🏻 thanks for the video girls 🌸
Thanks for the love!!
I got a free nanomister, but I just think it's such a waste. 😭 It looks so cool though to do after a service but seems o unnecessary if already use superbonder. I have clients with foundation or BB creme on, I don't know, I don't think I'll use a nanomister. I'll just use it to spray my face when I'm bored 🤣
Can I use superbonder on myself?
Yes you absolutely can! This will really help elasticize the bond and promote good retention! Here's the link here : lostartistrylash.com/collections/liquids/products/superbonder
Do you add it to the water?
Yes we tried using a few drops mixed in with the water :)
Hey sweethearts try tiny pipettes... I have one like yours, and I have pipettes! 😉
Exciting! Thanks for the tip
@@LostArtistryLash your welcome try amazon they come in bulk and an array of sizes... I had some left over when I made boosy strawberries.... you know the ones with the tiny pipettes in the fruit. 😘
Most bonders have droppers it wouldn’t be this difficult or messy with the ones with droppers
Totally , we mentioned in this video that our bonder doesn't have a dropper but others do :)
