It does matter imo and you actually helped me figure it out I use my comp first in line followed by a rat variant set as a boost going into a danelectro fab tone then an eq at the end and for me this helps me achieve a very original sounding tone granted I play doom with death metal tendencies and some jazz thrown in for good measure and we all know how hard it is to achieve an original tone in those genres
Neck brace was the phaser that made me think "hey, i'm missing out on something cool" I still don't own one. Gotta remedy that... Also, PGGe and cascader is something i aspire to own one day. The artwork on the pedals are great as well. Just love their aesthetic!
