Mine too. 2012 fx4 w eco-sh$t. I hate this truck. Im going to try to reset the B C M before buying a new one. I swear every 'common' thing has gone wrong on mine. Air mixure door on heater, actuator on pass front 4x4, rear window defroster not working....in all 12 things i have to fix. Id drive this thing off a cliff if i could.
Okay so I have a truck with the same issue, did your same test with same results, I ordered a new BCM truck became a no start with new part, truck went into anti theft mode, it deprogrammed the keys itself, I don’t have a scanner to test BCM functions, just saw your following video and now I’m confused. Any updates on if this issue came back?
I have the exact same problem with my 2010 Lariat... passenger side signal lights periodically not working.. after I drive the truck for 30 minutes or so they seem like they start working.. But when I apply the four ways all lights work.. Ford dealership told me to replace the BCM which I got them to do.but once it was installed i was told they were unable to program it... I pretty much given up at this point.. guess I'll just live with it
I'm a cheapie so haven't fixed mine yet. Did you have to swap BCMs? I bought it with led brake lights and headlight fancy stuff. I think those are a mistake. Make signals go fast, then slow, weird stuff and I think they've caused this issue I have
