The escalade I traded my bike for had a massive oil leak. I fixed it yesterday. Oil cooling lines and oil filter housing was leaking..
How did you get the Egr code off and was it P0405 code.

Good stuff....I hope you run super unleaded....these bad boys demand it, otherwise it will sound like a diesel on the top end....My Vortec 5.3 has over 220,000 miles and still going strong I attribute this to always using super unleaded....✌️😎
Sounds to me like someone has already tuned it. My stock LQ4 had nowhere near that much timing and you’re fueling was way too good(especially in power enrichment).
Hey if you ever do another ls manifold and the dipstick won't come out cut the tube and use a brass compression fitting for the dipstick tube lol. Just trim it down so you get correct oil reading.
On second though its impossible to get wrong reading cause the tab with bolt hole won't line up without cutting the tube after you install the fitting so just get the bolt to line up and you'll be golden!!!!
So quick question I just replaced intake gasket and knock sensors on my 00 Silverado it has th 4.8 broke both bolts of th egr where it ties into the exhaust. I now have the check engine light on it po40? Something Idr of th top of my head. Something about low circuit. Any way my question is how do I get this light to stay off or can I??

U can use a tap socket and screw to remove the dipstick tube weld a nut onto the broken bolts I just went threw this took me 3 days
I have an 01 5.3 and i was gonna do headers and no cats from speed engineering. So will the cat, evap, and egr delete really screw it up? Do i have to tune that out or can i just swap parts?
You will need a tune for sure.
I have a 00 Sierra with a 7875 turbo, your decapped injectors, MPVI2, 30-0300 wideband that I can't hook to my scanner. My scanner isn't logging AFR. What are my options?

yes. it caused mine. gonna have the computer flashed to have it deleted completely.

@@BRED23 all it does is causes the engine to run a bit hotter bro. Nothing major. It can handle it. U will be fine. I did mine a year ago. Still running like a top.
Buy some 317 take offs for $50 off facebook and get them milled 30 thousandths. 317 are basically a 243 with 71cc camber compared to 65(?). The truck you bought has the iron head.
