I have never received a good quality shirt from monster digital.I have ordered a handful of different shirts from them as samples and they were bad enough to make me want to cry if I was a customer ordering it as a gift for someone. I use swift p.o.d. for my shop.
I’ve strangely had the opposite experience. Any time I’ve had an issue or had to request a reprint, it was with SwiftPOD. I have used Monster Digital for over a year and I have yet to get a single complaint. Goes to show you that people can have the same experiences, but the complete opposite at the same time. Thats why finding the print provider that works for you, and not someone else is so important.
That's interesting. I love monster digital for the print that's slightly raised and can be felt on the shirt. I made Anniversary shirts and a father's day shirt with them and they did not disappoint. If I want DTG where the print sinks in the garment more, I use SwiftPOD

I've gotten other shirt samples from MD before with no issue but the distressing and colors were just really off this time so idk what is going on with them! So glad this video was helpful

Congrats on 201K subscribers! Swift POD has been my go-to since your last comfort color POD review; customers love them. Plus you see it all over not only on designs but on mockups on Etsy. I'm also starting to see it on Amazon with the new Prinify partnership.
Thank you for sharing this. I found your video because I was actually looking for a printer better than SwiftPOD because all of my Comfort Colors prints from these guys keep coming off in the wash. Even when I use cold water and I never dry them. It doesn't happen on their other products, JUST comfort colors tees. Does anyone else experience this? I still see more people selling the Gildan 18000 sweatshirts on Etsy still probably because of the large price difference but I wonder if this season we will see more people looking for the comfort colors sweatshirts as well. I think it might be a good idea to list designs for sale on both and test for awhile and see how they do for you to get your own data!
Thank you for this review. Very helpful. I only have 2 designs using Comfort Colors tees, and have Monster doing my printing on other tees (Gildan 18500) which customers have been happy with to this point. I may need to shift to SwiftPOD for CC designs in the future based upon this information.

Well that does it. I'm completely confused now. I'm part of a few pod groups on fb.. all of the ones people have been posting lately are how bad the swift pod prints are and how they peel badly after 1 or 2 washes. I had resolved to not use them. 🤦 I'm still new.. been trying this for like 5 months with only 1 organic sale. . . Sometimes I feel like there's TOO much information and idk which advice to follow or not! 😵💫
Hi Cassiy! Would you say the actual products are better than the samples? I bought a sample for the tote bags and the design was not centered like how it was in the printify design space. Printify was willing to reprint it free of cost, but I’m scared that it’s going to happen often to future customers 😕
I have not had any complaints from customers with monster digital Most of all my designs are with swift POD. But I have auto order routing on and some do get fulfilled with monster digital.

Sorry to hear that! None of them are perfect for sure but I've overall had a great experience with Swiftpod and Monster Digital. I think typically it has ended up being a less than 2% defect rate for me over the years but I know they seem like a lot sometimes when you are dealing with the customer service!
I would have placed Monster at the bottom just for that. It doesn't matter how fast it ships and what the price point is if the customer is going to complain, ask for a refund, and leave you a bad review.
What's always missing from these, which is the most important is where did u place it in printfy, as opposed to how it came out...and how big did it print vs how you put it in the website. And if they were crooked ect.

You have GOT to be kidding! I recently ordered samples from SwiftPOD and it was the WORST example of screen-printing that I have seen in a while! (BTW ... I worked several years as a staff artist at a big company that did a LOT of screen printing and I had to approve the printing from the Screen printing dept. - We did all of Coca-Colas products, Cannon Mills, and so many more.) - So I'm not being mean or arrogant but I really DO know good and bad screen printing! The extremely high def. art was grain-ey, the colors were off and the positioning was VERY crooked, so I was pretty much THROUGH with SwiftPOD! THEN ... after watching several of your videos on how wonderful Monster Digital was and also because of their high rating on Printify, I switched all my SwiftPOD items over to Monster Digital ... and now THIS! I'm at a total LOSS! Are there ANY reputable printers out there??? 😩😩😩

I did that for some Bella 3001 shirts a few years ago but that's a good idea to test it on these as well!
