So...the SC1 Goliath AI...in SC1, pathing was determined by the size of a unit's sprite instead of a consistent hit box like in SC 2. Goliaths and Dragoons (and to a lesser extent, zerglings) had different sized sprites for each animation frame, so if you told them to go through an area that was even a little narrow they'd reassess their path literally every frame of movement and would derp around in circles. This would get worse the more of them you had in a group because they actually accounted for the movement of nearby allied units in their pathing routine. Trying to get Dragoons up a ramp was a test of skill. Getting any of these units up a staircase doodad was impossible.
43:33 there's two quotes you're trying to put together: "Prodigious size alone does not dissuade the sharpened blade.", and "Monstrous size has no intrinsic merit, unless inordinate exsanguination be considered a virtue." Both voice lines show up when landing crits on large enemies.
You can explore the whole map by move commanding dragoons/goliaths to the enemy base. Later games with an auto explore feature probably just took the pathfinding ai of dragoons and assigned it to a button.
If I may do that plug you mentioned: Broskof starts at 10am EST. He mainly does project zomboid but Tuesday and Friday are starcraft days, usually we’ll do about four hours or SC2 with a mix of co-op and Direct Strike. Rewatching that game 1 I was screaming at myself ‘get a blackhammer and a sky fury!” And game 2: Man I wish I had any other aura, life did nothing. Also I was trying to teach our mengsk how to mengsk midgame without being rude.
"Prodigious size alone does not dissuade the sharpened blade." Narrator says this sometimes when there's a big body on the enemy team. Because we see big boi in the enemy squad, probably gonna shank 'em anyway.

Soooo your aleksander nuked their nexus when it fell down >_>
You could of fungaled it and tanked it to death then your apoc would of been able to munch it too.
Prodigious size is of no consequence
Probably, IDK.
